Instead of feeling my bronchial tubes open up I feel worse than when I started and have found chewing gum releases gas I'm thinking developed from using the nebulizer. It does bring up mucus eventually but very hard to breath before it does the trick. Any solutions??

He is also on an antibiotic prescribed for 10 days and prednisone for 5 days with 1 refill for 5 more days and was not given step down dosage instructions. Is it dangerous for him to take 40mg per day for 10 days then just stop?
