Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I started Mounjaro to help control my blood sugar. I had tried Ozempic and Trulicity and could not tolerate the nausea, sulfur burps and stomach issues. Mounjaro has been life changing. No bad side effects. I’m not hungry, I don’t have cravings, I’m losing weight steadily, and sweet desserts taste too sweet. Many people say they’ve had bad side effects with it. I say try it as it may work for you. Just like I couldn’t use other meds that other people love. For me it has been life altering."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I am a 6'2", 46-year-old male who started his journey at 305 lbs. My doctor prescribed me Mounjaro 10.0 in Jan. of 2023. In Dec. of 2023, I went to level 12.5. Mounjaro, along with a balanced diet and exercising 4-5 days a week, changed my life for the better. I went from a 'Living to Eat' person to an 'Eating to Live' person. Mounjaro helps me mentally and physically. After I eat, I feel fuller longer, and I don't get food cravings. It's amazing!! I went from 305 lbs to 238 lbs. That is 67 lbs in 13-14 months. I am off all insulin. I stopped snoring at night. I am participating in 5K races. Achieving goals and having fun! Team Gavin, I treat my body like a football team - Offense - gym four to five days a week, Defense - portion control, Special Teams - Mounjaro injections once a week. I don't think I could be doing this well without all three. The journey continues for me, and I hope after you read this, it begins with you. Good luck!"

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I started taking Mounjaro 9/1. This resulted in the very worst month of my life. WEEK ONE - Super Nauseous, indigestion, stomach pain 3-4 days of the first week. My appetite went from a 10 to a 2. (Which was good) WEEK TWO - I had diarrhea for 3-4 days, along with sulfur belches, nausea, stomach pain...I ended up having to take sick days and going to get an IV bag to recover from the dehydration. WEEK THREE - World class nausea and vomiting. 3 days of vomiting so hard that I ruptured my esophagus. The entire month, if I was not having diarrhea I was VERY constipated. I lost 9 lbs in one month, but I don't know if it was because I could barely eat because of the sickness. PASS!!"

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Ten days on Zepbound. Love this medication. The energy it gives you is amazing. 1st day injection in thigh developed bruise and slight nausea and headache. But no biggie. 2nd shot belly super easy. Takes away urge to eat. No more stomach grumbling when hungry either. I have a protein shake in the morning, mid-morning protein bar, little bites throughout the morning. Small lunch and salmon or chicken for dinner. Veggies and fruit are important. No issue with bathroom. I take a fiber gummy and multivitamin daily. Treadmill and gym. After showering, I've been using lots of lotion on skin, massaging in. You'll be fine. Smart choices in foods. Yogurt gave me nausea as did tuna with mayonnaise. 6 lbs so far."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Zepbound for 6 weeks. (4 weeks 2.5) (2 weeks at 5.0) I have lost 23 lbs. 307-284 I ride bike/treadmill and lift weights. I eat 2300 calories a day. If I happen to eat too much, I don't seem to notice. But what I do notice is I don't crave food like before. Before, I used to still be hungry after dinner. Not anymore. That part of my brain that was ravenous for more is gone."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been diabetic and overweight for 20 or more years, along with several health issues and various medications. Thank God for my doctor and Mounjaro. I started at 2.5 and 204 lbs in March, with few side effects. It is easy to use. I am now on 5.0 and 64 lbs lighter, and my A1c is at 5.7. I can breathe better and go for walks more. I crave no sugar or carbs. I was miserable with no hope in sight. I will be going on the 7.5 with hopefully no side effects. Thank you Mounjaro and my doctor for giving me my life back."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Be careful when deciding to take this medication. I advise you to speak first with your doctor and if you could find another way to lose weight you should decide to go with something else. The side effects for some people are almost unbearable. I was 100% healthy before taking this. Now my blood sugar levels are low I can not wait for this to leave my system. It’s hard to work out I feel awful. Ever since I stopped taking it since my sugar levels are low I have to eat more sugar and it’s hard to eat. I feel nauseous and it’s so hard to start the day feeling like this. Please beware I know of people that are not even eating while taking this because they lost their appetite and they have to blend their food because it won’t go down. The side effects at the beginning for many people are really awful. If you have to work and be productive don’t take this medicine you will regret it."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I was on Mounjaro for 3 months for weight loss, starting weight 180 lbs. I Increased to the next dosage every month. I had minimal side effects besides constipation and lost a total of 28 lbs. I did not wing off the medication and everything went fine, did blood work last week and everything was perfect compared to the year before. My weight has been steady thanks to the healthy habits I built during the medication."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "I am 6ft and started at 213lbs. Blood sugars were a little elevated and I could see they were headed in the wrong direction. I also have severe sleep apnea. I started @7.5 and just finished my fourth week. This drug is amazing. I’m down 24 lbs in 28 days. Lost 4 lbs last week. Current weight is 189lb. Goal is 175lb. I check my blood sugar 2 or 3 times a day. My highest reading was 101 about an hour after eating. Most readings in the low 80s which is perfect. I couldn’t have asked for more from this drug. Side effects are constipation (drink lots of water) and tired the day after the shot. I’ve been slightly overweight my entire life. I hope to lose this weight and then see if the sleep apnea goes away. Life changing."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "50-year-old female with 100 lbs to lose and PCOS. Been on Zepbound for 6 weeks (just took 7th shot). Minimal side effects. Occasional nausea, headaches, and sore muscles, usually the day after injection, but they go away by the next day. Taking the 5 mg dose right now. I have been getting large injection site rashes with itching, burning, and swelling with the last 3 doses. The swelling and itching go down after 3-4 days, but the red spots are still visible from all 3 of the previous doses. I didn't get this with the 2.5mg dose at all. Hoping it was just this last box of the medicine and the next will be better. I have only lost 5 lbs in the 6 weeks I have been on it, which has been very disappointing. It has lowered my blood pressure though. It was on the high side of normal before, now it's perfect. Really hoping that going up to the 7.5mg dose will start having better results for me as I have got a long way to go, and hopefully the skin reactions won't get worse."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I started Zepbound about a week ago. Only had 1 injection, but for me personally, as soon as I did the injection, I immediately began to feel nauseated and dizzy for a good couple of hours, but then it subsided. I did have some anxiety about the side effects, and sometimes when I do have anxiety, I will feel nauseous and dizzy as well, so I really can’t tell if that was from the injection or anxiety. Either way, it stopped. Since then, I barely eat. I NEVER feel hungry at all, and when I do, I eat hardly a handful of something before I feel full and stop eating. I don’t know if that’s normal. I’m supposed to get 60 grams of protein a day. I drink 2 of those 30 grams of the Premier protein shakes, not my favorite, but it will do, and that keeps me feeling full for pretty much the ENTIRE day. I don’t snack at all anymore. Again, I’ve only had 1 injection but have noticed some immediate changes."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Female age 56. Started Mounjaro for type 2 diabetes in February 2022. Start weight was 249 pounds. Today, my weight is 162, down a total of 87 pounds! No more high blood pressure or high cholesterol. My lower back pain that prevented me from walking for more than 5 minutes is gone. I no longer get out of breath just trying to do normal everyday things. I was very depressed and miserable due to the struggle of trying to live life being so overweight and basically semi-handicapped. I was very introverted and unhappy overall for decades due to being overweight and countless attempts to lose weight and not able to be successful and continued to gain. Now I can walk for miles on end without any pain. I can do things I did 25 years ago. I got my life back. Wish this drug was around many years ago but better late than never. I am on a 15mg dosage. If I get nausea the day after the shot, I take a couple of tums and it’s gone. I take a stool softener to combat hard stools and it does the trick."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Wonderful. No side effects. Have appetite suppression, which is good for weight loss. However, I do not feel I am starving at all. Have lost 6.8 lbs. in the first two weeks. Taking 2.5 mg. Walking 45 minutes on treadmill early each day and do not really have the desire to eat junk food. Eat well, especially breakfast which was the same I had been doing, but the same after I had heart surgery last year. I am increasing to 5mg. after this week and I will see how it goes. No side effects at all as far as I can tell."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Mounjaro for just two weeks. I've lost 5 pounds without trying. While that's nice, I am posting a very early review to let other newbies know that other than some indigestion the first two days I haven't had any side effects. I had major constipation on Ozempic. I find taking a : daily stool softener, stay hydrated, take a Metamucil tablet daily, and take a daily prebiotic (get the refrigerated one in your pharmacy as it has live cultures. Keep it refrigerated!) I'm on 5mg, but, moving up to 7.5 next week. Will go to 10mg if no supply of 7.5. My pharmacist said to get my order for the 7.5mg in at least 7 days early so they can get it in on time. They don't stock it, but, get it on overnight. Just FYI, after using Ozempic and Mounjaro, I weigh less than I did 10 years ago. I've gone down 4 sizes. 4 inches off my waist since Christmas! Now a petite XL rapidly headed to petite L."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am just starting this process. It has been 2 1/2 weeks on 2.5 ml. I have lost 9 lbs. I'm 55 years old, 5'7", 182 starting weight. Menopause kicked my butt; I could never lose more than 5 lbs. Negative side effects: headaches (which I've been prone to or sensitive to in the past), sometimes several times a day. I had mild diarrhea the first week and am now one week in with constipation. Mounjaro seemed to reduce my internal stomach size enormously. I don't have to remind myself to eat, like other people have said, but my body is on a delay and feels full 90 percent of the time - like I don't wake up ready for breakfast; it takes two hours to want to eat. What I do eat is a fraction of what I used to eat. For example, a small soup is plenty for lunch, yogurt for breakfast. It's definitely working for me, very happy. Good luck to everyone trying this:)"

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I have been on Zepbound for two months and have lost only 9 pounds. I don't eat breakfast because I am not hungry; this has been a lifelong habit of mine. I am hungry at noon and eat more than I should. I have found that I am eating too fast, which is causing me to not have the weight loss that I would have if I ate slower. I have noticed that when I eat slower, I stop eating when I am halfway done with my meal. Hopefully, I can break a lifelong habit of eating fast. I have no side effects from the drug or overeating."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I'm on month three. My doctor thinks I might be too sensitive to it and may have to stop soon. Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Diabetes, Type 2 "Holy side effects. First, if you eat when you take it, it just sits in your stomach and you’ll be burping it for 12 hours. The headache is insane. Starts immediately. Then you are hit with 3 days of nausea, fatigue and just overall fatigue. Just when you start to feel better, cue the insane heartburn ! It took me 5 days to feel normal again. I’ll pass on this even though I lost 5 pounds the first week."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 64, 5’2” tall and weighed 210 when I started Zepbound with 2.5 mg on January 15, 2024. I had no side effects with 2.5 and lost 12 pounds the first month. I went up to 5.0 ml and still no side effects but lost only 5 pounds that month. Went up to 7.5 and started having mild nausea, diarrhea, and indigestion. Lost another 10 pounds that month. I'm on week 2 of 10 ml. Side effects are much worse. I've lost a total of 35 pounds but in week two my stomach physically hurts, nausea is much worse and so is diarrhea. I think I will not be able to complete the next two doses on 10 ml so looking to drop down to 5.0 for maintenance and hopefully continued weight loss."

Zepbound (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "Started Zepbound 2.5 mg just 3 days ago. For the first time in my LIFE, I am eating to nourish my body, and not to satisfy hunger or cravings! Super excited to see how the weight will drop with new habits. Downside, I wasted a pen the very first time I injected because I didn't remove the grey closure. My fault for not thoroughly following the instructions but total bummer because the cost of this med is not cheap and the pharmacy says they can't fill an Rx for just one pen. It would be nice if the manufacturer of the drug would allow a single pen to be purchased for a lesser cost."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I am 5'2", 41 years old, started taking the shot in November of 2023. Weighed in at 293, cried all the way home. Within a week lost 16 pounds. Here I am, almost a complete 4 months later, and down 72 pounds. Best thing I have ever done. No more snoring or waking up all hours of the night, and I have so much more energy. Yes, I have some constipation, but it is a small price to pay to feel so much better! Next month I will be on the highest dose. So, from here on out, it's up to me to keep it moving with healthy activity and diet."

Tomorrow will be my 3rd shot and I’m seriously hoping these side effects go away so I can get type II diabetes under control. Probably losing some weight because I dread the nausea after eating so am not eating as much. The verdict is still out for me on this medicine."

Mounjaro (tirzepatide) for Weight Loss (Obesity/Overweight) "I just wanted to give an update on my success on Mounjaro. I've been on it for 18 months. I continue to lose weight slowly. No problem with the shot. I've lost a total of 118 pounds. I went from a size 22 to a size 2. I do Weight Watchers app online for the accountability. And walk 5-8 miles a day. My doctor thinks I should be her spokesperson in her office for the new patients going on it to give them the motivation. But can't with HIPAA. I'm okay with her giving them my name and everything but she can't. It's funny when I'm out in public and people are not sure if it's me or not. But it sure makes me feel good. I just know when people do ask how I've lost weight and I tell them. I say with diet, exercise, and I have diabetes. I also take Mounjaro but it's not a miracle drug."

I weighed 243lbs and now I am down to 214lbs. If you don’t eat fried foods, sugar, or heavy carbs, you will do great. I don’t overeat anymore, plus exercise I walk 5 miles a day. I drink at least 64fl oz water. This medication is worth taking. I had no issues at all. And feel great. I can’t wait to fulfill my journey. The key is to follow a plan. You want a life change this is it! I used the coupon and only certain pharmacies know how to code it. I got lucky because My pharmacy worked with me."
