"I take the 5 mg generic, which cost $33.79 for 90 pills with a a coupon, along with Flomax. I now pee like a champ and empty my bladder completely. No more waking up 5 times a night. The constant urge to pee has disappeared. Most of my prostatitis symptoms have gone away. Took about a week to feel the full benefits. No side effects that I've noticed except being able to keep my 24-year younger wife happy 'anytime.' I was truly suffering there for a while."

"I had to go often and sometimes barely made it to the bathroom. My doctor prescribed Flomax, and it was partially effective, but I almost passed out if I got up quickly. After a couple of months, I went back to my doctor, and she changed me to Cialis. It is almost totally effective, and no side effects."

"Doctor prescribed Tamsulosin (Flomax) for treatment of BPH. After taking for 30+ days, no improvement and ED side effects were terrible. Stopped Tamsulosin and started Cialis 5mg daily, now for about 45 days. BPH conditions have improved and ED side effects have gone completely away. Now trying to get my Medicare Rx insurance company to approve Cialis 5mg for my BPH drug treatment."

"I have been taking two different meds for years now with moderate to poor success. Sometimes I have to urinate every hour. Since taking Cialis daily, I can go hours without having the urge to urinate, just like a normal person! I'm thrilled with the product. Thank you to the drug company for creating this wonderful drug."

"I have been taking 10mg Cialis (Tadalafil) with great success. Used to have huge problems years ago to the point that I was considering surgery. Many medications have terrible side effects like lowering your sex drive, some even creating irreversible damage. I first found out years ago via the Internet long before it got approved by the FDA, mentioned it to my Urologist who was a professor at a university and approved it right away. Medicare is not covering it, and the pharmacy was trying to charge $286 for a month's supply. This left me with the only option to find a pharmacy on the Internet where I get a year's supply at a time, keeping it in the freezer to preserve its potency. Great results for my prostate and my sex life."

"Age 80. Tried Cialis 20 mg prn for ED with excellent results. Now on 5 mg qd with some improvement in urine flow after 1 month. Also good for ED. Also good for libido since it doesn't take much to get going and improved confidence that I can get the job done."

"I’m a retired pharmacist. Please do not store any medication in the freezer thinking it may extend the shelf life. The moisture in a freezer may cause the drug to degrade (think of those bags of veggies you store). Unless otherwise advised, store at room temperature out of strong light."

"I have been using Cialis 5 mg for over 2 years, and it has worked very well for me. No side effects at all that I have noticed. I have BPH and minor ED, this pill works very well for both. I am very happy with it and will not try the generic since they seem to lose something in the translation."

"I am 55 and have had BPH for the last 6 years. Was living in France at the time when diagnosed and their approach was to go for surgery. Once I'd read up on that, I was like 'no way!' I was 50, not 75. So I got prescribed Silodosin, which worked well but didn't like the side effects of retro-ejaculation. So, after researching on the internet, I have been self-medicating 5mg Tadalafil (generic) for the last 4 years. It has made a difference, and I now can go 6/7 hours at night without needing to pee. I was taking it at around 10pm each evening. However, over the last six months, I have noticed that it was becoming more difficult to pee during the daytime, so 5 days ago I started taking 1 x 5mg at 10pm in the evening, and 1 x 5 mg at 7am in the morning. This has made a huge difference, and I am now a lot more comfortable during the day and my flow has improved."

"I buy Cialis online for a tiny fraction of what you pay in Australia. I buy 20mg tablets for 20 cents each, then quarter them. They work well for BPH and ED. The pharmacy industry is rolling us over a barrel."

"I have been taking Cialis Daily (5mg) for about two years. When first diagnosed by my Urologist, he prescribed Cialis. At the time, it was just approved by FDA to treat BPH. My insurance, TRICARE, would not authorize it until I had tested other drugs designed to treat the condition. The two drugs tested caused very noticeable and uncomfortable side effects. Flomax and Avodart caused conditions such as severe urinary burning, headaches, and digestive discomfort. Both were used for two weeks each. Finally, I was approved for Cialis. Almost immediately, I would say in less than a week, my BPH symptoms subsided significantly. Urination need decreased and became easier. I suffer from Rosacea, and this accentuated the blushing quite a bit."

"I got some samples from my MD, and after 4 days I'm feeling much better. It's the first time in about a year I've been able to empty my bladder. It's the first time in years I've slept through the night. There seem to be a couple of side effects: slight headache and back stiffness. Nothing as bad as lying in bed, awake, in pain, or being afraid to sit in a theater for 2 hours. It's going to be expensive, but I'll save money on Flomax and endless bottles of Saw Palmetto."

"My urologist suggested that I try 5 mg Cialis daily for BPH (enlarged prostate). He gave me a two-week supply to see if I would incur any side effects. He did make it very clear that treatment for BPH requires about a month's regular use of the 5 mg daily dose. From the first day onward, I experienced significant heartburn, which was easily remedied by taking a dose of Zantac with the Cialis and a Zantac 12 hours later. On the 5th day of Cialis, I experienced excruciating muscle pain starting with my lower back, into the buttocks, and legs. At the ER, I was informed that between 5-7% of Cialis users will experience this and to stop using Cialis immediately."

"I had a severely bad experience with BHP for 6 months, tried all kinds of medications recommended by the doctors. Urinating was a painful experience and I even had blood drops because I was severely straining myself to urinate. After reading the reviews of others, I tried Cialis 5 mg daily, and within 4 days there was ease in my symptoms. I was able to urinate easily and found relief from pain. Even the nighttime frequency of urinating stopped and I was able to sleep better the whole night. This Cialis is a Godsend solution. Excellent results."

"I'm in my late 60s and had been struggling with frequent urination at night, an urgent need here and there during the day, ED, and low libido. My urologist recommended Cialis, but when he mentioned the price and the fact that it would not be covered by insurance, I almost decided against it. He was quite sure it would help, however. So I invested in the first month's supply, and noticed a difference in respect to urination and the rest almost immediately. Quite amazing. Like some other people, I've had a bit of heartburn but no other side effects. Well worth the investment!"

"As a 28-year-old male with Benign Prostate Hyperplasia, I thought my fun may be over. Cialis is great. Had no idea I was having erectile dysfunction issues until after my first 5mg daily dose. Feel as if I'm 16 again and burning through a large box of condoms. Hope my body doesn't become used to the meds and fail me. Thanks, Cialis, for the workout!"

"61 years old. I was on Hytrin for 14 years but started having extreme pelvic and back pain. I tried Rapaflo, but that didn't work at all. Cialis 5 mg daily immediately fixed my ED problems, but wasn't a miracle cure for my BPH. I can now sleep for 4-5 hours instead of 2-3, but urine flow still isn't great. At first, it caused intense back and pelvic pain from Day 2 through Day 7, then stopped. I took pain meds from Day 3 through 7, which helped immensely. Fortunately, my insurance agreed to cover this with a small co-pay. Overall, well worth the trouble and first week's pain."

"I was prescribed Cialis for BPH, 5 mg daily, and having been 60 years old, I welcomed the 'side effect' of having monster erections. All that did come with a price, though, as about 3 days into taking the 5 mg dose daily, I started experiencing excruciating pain in my lower back and buttock. I did extensive research into this matter. I am NOT an MD. I am sharing what I found and what worked for me to rid myself of my pain, and it has not returned since. This is based partially on a study I found, and you should check with your doctor before you do this. Full disclaimer... I am sharing this NOT as a recommendation but as what I did, and it is strictly for 'entertainment purposes only.' 1. Discontinue Cialis for 5 days to clear it from your system. Do this for 3 days ONLY: 2. Take Aleve 220 mg and Tylenol 325 mg 2 hours prior to taking the 5 mg Cialis for 3 days ONLY. 3. Discontinue taking the Aleve 220 mg and Tylenol 325 mg after day 3. 4. Day 4 forward, continue with the Cialis."

"I've used Cialis for a couple of years since my TURP surgery, which left me with not the best results in bed. Well, it gets a 10 in that dept, but I do get the backaches. Stretches and yoga take care of that part. I'm 65 years old and bike ride and use the 5 mg."

"For BPH sufferers in the UK, I offer my experience. Researching treatments for BPH, I discovered that the NHS has approved the prescription of Cialis (or generic tadalafil) to address the symptoms of BPH. I persuaded my GP to prescribe it for me, and it works a treat, minimizing the effects of my prostate enlargement (urgency, in my case). There is one side effect that should be noted. It promotes really good erections. To my mind, this is definitely a side effect to embrace! I note that in comparative trials, tadalafil performed better than tamsulosin."

"I wrote earlier that adding the 0.5 mg Cialis combined with the 40 mg Flomax gave me great results. But, the side effects (which a number of people have reported here) were a big problem. Bad backaches and headaches after about 3 days of use. But great results with urinary problems of BPH. So I had to quit the Cialis for a few days to get it out of my system. Then started one half of a pill, every other day, thinking that I will increase as needed. Well, never needed to increase. In other words, a quarter dose. And great results! Only get up once a night to pee! First time for that in decades. Also, although I didn’t have a lot of problems with erections for my age, 75, yes, it did improve that too. With just a quarter dose. And no side effects. I have been on this regimen now for about 3 months. All good! PS. Initially, my insurance wouldn’t cover Tadalafil, but my doctor called and explained that it was for BPH, and now they cover it."

"I fax my prescription to a Canadian pharmacy and receive a 90-day supply. It is a generic and costs $30 per month. It works tremendously well, as I found out when I ran out for a month. Now, after a few days back on it, I’m doing great again. I’m taking it for BPH, but it helps me to have a stronger erection that lasts to climax. No side effects that I notice. I’m in my early sixties. I tried Flonase, but it made things worse for me."

"2nd day on 5mg started to work with rock-hard erections, however, experienced headache, lower bowel pressure. 3rd day, erections would wake me up and hurt! Leg/ankle aches, severe lower bowel pressure, like you need to go #2 but can't! Enjoyed the initial rock-hard erections but not at these side effects or $230 for month's supply! I'm 50 and work out 3 times a week. Not worth side effects!"
