Lyrica (pregabalin): I have been on Lyrica for Fybro for 7 weeks now and I sleep great - I can play with my grandchildren and I don't hurt enough to even complain about - I am off the narcotics - was 2-3x's a day with oxy and overall I am more productive at work and I move more and am much happier. Still tired because I move so much

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have found Lyrica to be wonderful. I have been miserable since age 8 or sooner. I searched for answers. Just thought I was crazy and so did everyone else. It has changed my mood, pain, energy level is up, iritability gone. It is awesome.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I was having a lot of problems on 150mg a day probably due to my age (73). I stopped and restarted on 25mg 3 times a day and it made quite a difference. I have had fibromyalgia for over 15 years but was only diagnosed 2 years ago. I tried neurontin and it just made me sick. Thank God for Lyrica. My insurance company keeps trying to get me to take Neurontin again but I won't as long as I can help it.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have taken just one 75mg yesterday afternoon. It did not take long at all and I noticed a difference in my pain. I felt good. When I went to bed, I drifted off to sleep and woke up this morning feeling refreshed. It was a wonderful experience.

pregabalin: My doctor prescribed it for me and gave me samples. I have been taking the samples while fighting with the insurance company because they want me to try Neurontin first. I think the Lyrica is really working. I am still tired, but I feel it is a normal tired from having two kids and running around with them. The way I felt before, I couldn't move. I really don't want to use the Neurontin, I don't want to lose the benefits that I have gained.

Lyrica (pregabalin): Have had fms for 8yrs. Have tried all sorts of meds & have been on fentanyl 75mcg every 48 hrs for the last few years. Fentanyl for fms is like a heavy bat for the wrong ball but was the only bat available. I have been taking Lyrica for 1 1/2 yrs now. Had 1st pain free days in years when 1st started. Unfortantely, still on fentanyl in addition because I cannot take more then 50mg a day of lyrica w/o it knocking me out. Tried to build tolerance over 3 wks w/o success. Have had wild vision changes also.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I just started with this medication. I took one 75 mg pill in the late evening before going to sleep. When I took it I said to myself yea right this little tiny pill will somehow give my life back to me...the next morning when I awoke to my surprise, I felt like I did years ago. I could walk and stand without the aching and hurting. I was not as tired nor as sore in my muscles. What a wonderful little miracle this little pill is!!!

Lyrica (pregabalin): My husband passed away over a year ago. Everyone told me it was depression, why I hurt all over and was tired. I knew different, I insisted on testing and finally was diagnosed with fibromyalgia. Lyrica has given me new life. My children and friends are amazed at the difference it has made. I take 200mg twice daily. It has increased my appetite, but I am more active since I started the Lyrica.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have an entrapped nerve in my leg causing shooting nerve pain in my foot. Lyrica has really helped stop the pain. It was so bad I couldn't sleep at night. However, I am gaining weight and having some difficulty in concentrating.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have been on 300 mg of Lyrica a day for a double herniation in my back. The side effects I experienced were dizziness, anxiety and sleeplessness. However, I did not gain weight. Maybe that is because I had read that you could gain weight and I changed my diet so that I would not. In fact, I lost 25 lbs. while on it. I read that I am in the minority with this. I can say for the most part Lyrica helped, but I had to take Advil with it. Overall, it helped.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I am an optometrist in Indiana & have seen transient VA's & unstable spectacle Rx's in patients using lyrica. Patients have also presented with optic neuritis after just several months use. Most patients report less pain with lyrica but a number of side effects listed here. I'm seeing a lot of lyrica patients & have to wonder if what is bringing them to my office is their day to day visual acuity changes.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have had FM for 20yrs, been on morphine, anti depressants, Fentanyl patches - you name it I have tried it, but thank the lord for Lyrica which I started in March 2008. It has made my life worth getting up for in the morning. I can do things I was not able to do for so long.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I've had fibromialgia for years but it was only reently diagnosed. Lyrica makes so much positive difference I can hardly believe it! I have gained weight and I have to take Tylenol with the 50mg 3/day, but it REALLY works!

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have been taking Lyrica for about 2 years. I couldn't face life without it. I take 200mg x2 a day. I have managed to cut my pain meds down. I am still tired but that will come with conditioning my body again. I have intensive physio therapy twice a year and have founf improvements after each session. I have gained about 30lbs but part of that is due to inactivity. Only downside is that if I miss a dose I feel dreadful.

pregabalin: I'm a Canadian with fibromyalgia. This drug has been approved here for quite some time. I had previously been taking 1200 mg of Gabapentin every day. It did not work in my case. Lyrica has been the miracle drug for me and I have been taking it for about 3 years. It takes time for any drug to work properly and I couldn't function with out it. 150mg a day is my dosage. Even though there is weight gain with these kinds of drugs, the effectiveness is worth it. I have a life now.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have taken lyrica for 10 days, 75 mg. twice daily for fibromyalgia. I feel so much better it's scarey! I also had a steroid injection to my knee the same day I started Lyrica, so it may be a combined effect. But my arm pain is 95% gone now. I do have increased appetite & drowsiness, but they're not as severe when i get moving, which I can do now.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have been taking 75mg twice per day now for 10 days. I have severe back pain from an injury. I did not think that such a small pill twice a day could help. I was ready to stop useing it after three days because of the side effects of feeling totally "out of it".I had mood swings, dizzyness and confusion. Those side effects have now eased up and my pain has become less severe.I have had weight gain and wonder if it causes water retention. I feel bloated. Hope this helps

pregabalin: I have had FM for about 10 years. For the past 2 years I have been on Duragesic patch for pain. It intensified the fatigue. I started on Lyrica a couple of months ago and am now off of the Duragesic patch. I am getting as good or better pain control with the Lyrica alone as I was with the Duragesic patch and without the added fatigue.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I take 75 mg. X 2 per day. It seemed to help the first couple of days, now nothing. I have gained 12+ lbs, too. My appetite is getting out of control. I'm going to talk to my doctor about trying something else. Anyone else having problems with weight gain like me? I still need to take an OTC pain medicine with my Lyrica. Anybody ever try muscle relaxers?

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have had fibromyalgia for 12 years and have been on high doses of morphine, durogesic patches, methadone, and many other narcotics. I am now on 225mg of lyrice twice a day and low doses of opana. I feel like a new person, never though it would every happen. I feel like a did years ago and I am 63 now but am able to do most of the things I was able to to before the fibro hit me. I can"t work my old job as an RN but I can do most things. Some days are better than others but this is a great drug.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I have suffered a very long time to the point where my bones ached so bad that it brought me to a complete halt in life. My mother also suffers as well as my daughter who is showing many of the symptoms that I had at her age. I have been on Lyrica for ten days now and can not believe the difference it has made. I hope that this med can improve other's lives as well as it has mine, because FM is a horrible thing to have to live with. No side effects so far. Here is hoping it is for you..

Lyrica (pregabalin): The muscle pain I was feeling lasted for years. When I saw that commercial for Lyrica, a tear came down my cheek because I could relate to what the commercial was about. I started taking Lyrica and I feel like I have been given my life back. My muscle tension and pain has reduced so much I am moving around and LIVING my life again. I even danced in the house today! I think Lyrica has done what it was meant to do. I am proof that it can work for fibromyalgia. Thanks for making Lyrica.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I started on Lyrica 5 weeks ago at 1 50mg daily, and felt no different, started 100mg 3x day four days ago and gee what a difference it has made in my fibromyaglia and chronic neck and back pain and spinal arthritus. Already had dizzyness and confusion, but has not gotten worse. Hands are a little swollen and stiff in the mornings but goes away soon. Lovin, lovin it so far.

Lyrica (pregabalin): I recently began taking 75mg of Lyrica 3x daily. I have fibromyalgia and felt awful for a very long time. I have noticed so much improvement in my muscle pain and all that comes with having FM. I do have to say that I too, have a little blurred vision or blurriness in my eyes from taking it. The way I feel so far, I will definitely continue taking it.

pregabalin: While this drug has helped with my fibromyalgia, it has not been the wonder drug put forth for me. More emphasis needs to be put on the need to adjust - many side effects disappear with time. The one, for me, that seems to be worsening is the loss of libido. This is severe enough that I am considering withdrawal of the drug from my drug regimen.

Lyrica (pregabalin): was prescribed Lyrica 75 mg 2 times a day. I have been diagnosed with Fibromyalgia. It is severe. I am completely disabled after leadind a very active life style for years. It has helped my pain some. I am unable to take pain meds due to seizures. I was previously on morphine for the pain, which had no effect on my pain. Lyrica has at least made it bearable.
