"My neurologist prescribes Trileptal for Photophobia and Phonophobia resulting from massive hemorrhagic stroke. The symptoms are inordinate sensitivity and abnormal reaction to lights, action, sounds. I often experience visual and aural hallucinations. This medication seems to lessen, not completely abate the symptoms noted."

"If there was a fire and I could only grab one of my assorted bipolar drugs, it would be Trileptal, even before Klonipin, and that’s saying a lot. Trileptal brought me out of the abyss. Love it."

For Trigeminal Neuralgia "It's great for trigeminal neuralgia pain. Aside from forgetting words and not being able to spell and weakness, the side effects are not too terrible. It is MUCH better than the TN pain."

"Dx MDD, GAD, PTSD, & BPD. 900mg/day. 1200mg/day gave me balance issues. Helps lift my depressed mood. I also take abilify, buspirone, klonopin, trazodone, and prazosin. Best combo I've found so far."
