For Muscle Spasm "I was prescribed this medication for pain after I was involved in a car accident and also for back spasms. The drug doesn't really do anything to ease my back and neck pain but it does act as a pretty good sleep aide. So I guess it's not totally useless. Low rating was given because it does not do what it is prescribed for."

For Muscle Spasm "Man I wish I read these reviews before taking it so I knew what I was in for. This is my third day on it, first night I took it before bed, passed out pretty fast because of how tired I already was. Took one in the morning then after dinner RIGHT BEFORE I HAD A CLIENT! I do eyelash extensions from home which involves me to use VERY VERY sharp tweezers to put a synthetic eyelash onto EACH natural lash, takes hours and you need good eyes to separate the lashes. I COULD NOT SEE A THING AND I WAS PANICKING!!! I had to keep closing my eyes then opening them because after I open them I can see them for a few seconds then it goes fully blurry again. By some miracle and no law suits later I managed to finish and it’s been over 24 hours and vision is still not 100%. My mouth was SOOO dry all day and my saliva was so thick I thought I was going to choke on it. flushed cheeks too"

For Muscle Spasm "100 mg Norflex is a joke. I'm a 26 yr old achondroplasia little person & I have severe kyphosis, spinal stenosis, slight scoliosis, & I'm paraplegic. My doctor keeps writing scripts for this medicine & it DOES NOT HELP AT ALL. My kyphosis (curve by which the spine is bent forward) was bad & I was bent forward 147 degrees. I keep telling him this isn't helping & I'm not sleeping at night but he keeps throwing these at me. He had removed my hardware back in May due to an infection & I been in pain every since & He swears up & down these will work. Just a joke & a waste...I'm gonna be having surgery again March 19th."

For Muscle Spasm "I have loved this med orphenadrine and I do not like taking meds unless I need them. Orphenadrine is perfect as I have no side effects from it. I only take it when I’m going to be driving or standing for long periods of time. Sometimes I also take ibuprofen or acetaminophen with it but mostly I take it alone. I’ve taken it since 2011 and it has greatly helped me. I probably average 3-5 pills per month. I have seen people who take meds everyday get discouraged because their meds stop working. Mine always works but I ONLY take it when necessary. I have a large pain tolerance and I have a lot of pain so when I say it works, it does."

For Muscle Spasm "I was prescribed orphenadrine 100mg one tablet twice a day for severe hip pain and muscle spasm in my leg. I can only handle taking one and I usually take it at night because I can't sleep from the severe pain. It is so amazing how it works for the pain and the spasm the next day I feel nothing. I make sure to get lots of sleep because it does make you tired and drink plenty of water as I get dehydrated from it. Isn't addictive."

Norflex (orphenadrine) for Muscle Spasm "Aggravated old lower back injury. Spasms with sharp pain. Norflex stopped the spasms which I frequently got while standing or lying down. No side effects other than cotton mouth. I take it day and night, with no daytime fatigue and feel fine at work."

For Muscle Spasm "I've been on a host of antidepressants and opiates. While opiates do relieve my pain slightly more this is a miracle drug for those who do not want to be on a lifetime of daily medication. The analgesic effect of this drug seems to go hand in hand with nerve pain, although it does not directly help the pain, I find it releases tension in my back which in turn helps the pain substantially. My only beef with this substance is that it only lasts 4-5 hours where as Panadeine or something similar lasts 8-10 hours. Please be aware of anticholinergic effects, it can give weird dreams and hallucinations if not enough choline is present. its 1/3rd as strong as PCP as an NDMA agonist."

For Migraine "I use one 50mg tablet of this muscle relaxant along with one or two Naproxen Sodium (Alieve) tablets as a first line regiment to break an initial starting migraine. For some early/mild migraines this can give relief. When not caught early (within 1 hr) or it is a moderate migraine second line regiment includes a 2nd Orphenadrine dose and a 50mg Tramadol (Ultram) which usually provides relief in addition to lying down, relaxing in a dark quiet cool room. Strong migraines use third line regiment of a 2nd Tramadol, coffee (caffeine), warm shower/bath, foot/hand massage, soothing music, as well as, dark quiet cool room."

Norflex (orphenadrine) for Muscle Spasm "After two days of lower back spasms that were increasingly getting worse to where I was having trouble walking, on a pain scale of 1 - 10 it was 9/10 so I decided to seek medical help. I was prescribed Norflex as a muscle relaxant in 100mg tablet form. The first dose was in the evening to be taken with Paracetamol and second dose the next morning. After one day the spasms are no longer severe and the pain is bearable 5/10 This medication has been amazing for me, the only side affect is a very dry mouth."

For Muscle Spasm "Good medicine for muscle pain. Side effects feel like taking NyQuil, but wear off in a few days. I have heart failure, and for some reason, Orphenadrine also eliminated my constant heart palpitations/PVCs. A nice surprise!"
