Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I've used it way more than a few times. It truly works and truth be told it does mess up your period. One time it went away for 3 months and I was going crazy thinking I was pregnant but I wasn't. It's different for everyone but most of the time I'm normal and no side effects. It is expensive though.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I've used it two or three times, it is (evidently) very effective, and accessable which is great. It will mess up your menstruation cycle a bit, however.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Birth Control: Due to an unfortunate event (sexual assault) My Dr. gave me Plan B, I was so relieved. Taken ASAP after intercourse or an attack has a high success rate. I recommend this to any women not ready to have a baby.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I've taken it twice, one about three weeks after the other. it worked, though I did start my period a week after taking the pill both times. I was a little concerned having two periods so close to together but I was assured it was fine, and there was nothing unusual about the periods except the timing. Also, taking Plan B with alcohol didn't make the pill ineffective for me. Good to know.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I took the Plan B pill 6 hours after having unprotected sex. I received my period one week later, which was 2-3 weeks ago. I am experiencing days where I am bloated to the max, and it never seems to be a day where I am not bloated. I also experience severe pains in my lower abdomen by my ovaries. It feels like I am cramping everyday and feels like I'm going to start my period. The pill was effective in not making me pregnant.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: November 18 I got my period and on Dec 3-4th my boyfriend and I hadn't use protection and I was a little worried because the days happen to fall right smack in my mid-cycle. We use contraceptive but I guess the heat of the moment caught us off guard. On Dec 5th at 8pm I took the Plan B pill. I did experience some cramping and mild nausea, after taking the pill but nothing unbearable. I waited for my period and on Dec 16th... I got it! It was right on time. I am very please with this product.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: This is a very good product. My boyfriend and I had unprotected sex twice in one day. The next day I went and got Plan B. I started to experience extreme fatigue and stomach cramps, but a week later I got my period.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: Plan B works. After reading some reviews, I was worried, but after talking with a professional, I found that most failures occur when the pill is not taken within the time frame given. I took the pill with 2 hours of our mishap and had absolutely no side effects. Good luck and follow the instructions.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I was pretty sure I wasn't going to become pregnant, but just to be sure, I took Plan B (I still spent an agonizing month waiting to see if I was right). I waited about 48 hours after intercourse to take it, because I was afraid of the side effects, and I had to work and give a presentation at school. I felt a bit 'off' and nauseated after taking it, but nothing serious. Don't let the side effects stop you from taking Plan B. It's pricey, but I think it's a good idea to have a dose on hand, just in case.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I've taken Plan B a number of times. I have bipolar disorder, sometimes not even my medication can hold back my manic episodes. This is something that has literally saved my life from myself... as a person with a mental illness. It has worked every time. It either makes me get my period within a few weeks or it skips it. The times it has made me get my period have been accompanied by severe cramps but they go away.

Plan B (levonorgestrel) for Emergency Contraception: I took Plan B with 6 hours of having unprotected sex. Long story short, it worked. Long story long...I have had regular periods for as long as I can remember. I've had 26 days on my cycle and am a day late at the most (I keep track with the Period Tracker on my iPhone for over two years). Well my period did not come on day 26...or 27...or 28.. But on day 31 so my period was 4 days late which may not seem crazy but for someone who is always on time it was pretty scary. So I read a lot of reviews where girls get their periods early so I wanted to comfort those who are late after taking Plan B. side effects after 1st pill: fatigue, after second pill 12 hrs later: no side effects.
