Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "I already suffer with anxiety and allergies I've tried this the last two days and my anxiety levels have shot through the roof. Palpations, shortness of breath, elevated blood pressure. Unable to sleep until the early hours despite taking medication, then on edge all day long feeling anxious and irritable. If you're already suffering from anxiety issues I'd be very careful about taking this if at all. Whether it's had any impact on my nasal congestion I don't know because I've been overwhelmed with anxiety"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "I had hay fever so severe that I could barely function during my allergy season. Oral antihistamines did very little for me, apart from make me drowsy and/or unable to sleep, and I seemed to metabolize them more quickly than predicted. I was taking them every few hours to maintain relief, but it was messing me up in other ways. Flonase was unbelievably helpful. During my bad season, I would take two inhalations in each nostril, twice per day. As long as I was consistent about its use, it would keep my nasal symptoms at bay. I had no side effects. The smell is a bit unpleasant and lingers, but not so severe in the grand scheme. My allergies are more mild now, but still keep Flonase around for bad days. I recommend to any and all."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "I would rate this a 0 if it was an option. Biggest waste of money. It says 60 doses, but yet you have to spray it twice before every use to have a steady mist. That being said, you only get about 30 doses if your lucky. I have always used a afrin and I will continue to use it."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "I suffer from year-round allergies to at least a half dozen allergens. My doctor has had me on Claritin and Nasonex. While they didn't completely alleviate my symptoms, he had no other suggestions. When I ran out of Nasonex, I decided to forego the hassle of stopping by my doctor's office to pick up a prescription and instead got Flonase from a nearby Walgreen's. This stuff is the best! It alleviated all of my symptoms (constant runny nose, itchy and watery eyes, nasal congestion). So much so that I can breathe thru my nose at night without my usual Breathe Right strip. Thank you GSK!"

For Rhinitis "As far as I can tell, I am allergic to every particle in the air. My nose is itchy and sniffly 24/7 regardless of season or location, with stronger attacks seemingly at random. When I get a cold, my nose closes entirely and I spend a week being completely miserable. I've never felt any noticeable improvement from antihistamines, and those can't generally be taken long-term anyway. I've had doctors suggest regular nasal irrigation to rinse out the particles, but that only ever made me more sniffly. Got a prescription for Fluticasone a few months ago, and it was like magic. I could breathe more easily almost immediately, and it only got better from there. No side effects at all. I finally felt how I think normal people must feel."

"This is probably the worse nasal spray I have ever used. I had blocked eustachian tubes. The side effects are horrendous. I already suffer from anxiety but this made it a whole lot worse and especially at night. My mood changes every 2 mins. My heart races horribly. I can’t sleep. The anxiousness is worse at night as I am trying to sleep. I get this very weird feeling in the whole of my body when I try to relax and I get up in a panic with a racing heart. I have been off it for 2-4 days now and I am still having the side effects of it. I started using it few weeks ago. If anyone is thinking of using it, please read the label and the possible side effects before you use it as I stupidly didn’t. If anyone has a sensitive body or is sensitive to meds I would advise not using this one."

"I have had a reaction to this medicine. It caused severe vertigo/migraine which required an emergency room visit. The vertigo continued for several months. When I stopped the spray, it slowly dissipated. When I started up the spray, the vertigo returned."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "Flonase works so good! I've been on it for about a week now, and I'm noticing fast improvements. Around the 4th day, my sinus headaches were slim to none, my watery right eye stopped, and I didn't sneeze 10 times a day. No side effects. I am still a little stuffed up.....but that's what sinus tea is for! Thank you Flonase!"

Xhance (fluticasone) for Nasal Polyps "My ENT put me on this about 3 months ago for Extreme sinusitis terrible allergic rhinitis and I haven’t sneezed 10 times or taken a Claritin in months!!!! This is a complete game changer... best thing ever! I am so thankful for this Xhance Spray. I read a few of the reviews and saw where someone said that their glass vial broke and where concerned about glass being sprayed up their nose. My vial was dropped last night and sad to say it did shatter but I know not to use this now and just ordered a new vial. I like the glass vial as it makes it easy to see how much product is left...although maybe they could look at a clear plastic dispenser in the future!"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "It worked well at first and helped to open my airways and allow me to breathe more easily. However, it also had a strange stimulatory effect on me that was similar to that of caffeine. It seems to have lost some of its efficacy, but after taking a nearly year-long break, I tried it again today and found that it is working all right. Although it does give me an odd sensation of cold air feeling colder than it actually is, it is manageable for me, and I don't find it too bothersome. This is just my personal experience."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "I was advised to use Flonase by my ENT. I have been feeling agitated, unusually aggressive and angry for three days. I have been using Flonase for three days. Use caution if you are sensitive to medications. This is dangerous!!!"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "Flonase has changed my life!! Before using this I was blowing my nose at least 20 times a day and sneezing about a dozen times. I would wake up in the morning and my nose would be so plugged I would stand in the bathroom and blow my nose for five straight minutes to get relief. After only 2 weeks on this I now maybe blow my nose twice and day and have maybe sneezed twice total. The only thing it hasn't helped with much are dry eyes. I would highly recommend at least trying this to see if it works it has been wonderful for me!"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "Flonase is absolute trash and did nothing to unstop my nose. I had to go back to the store and buy the generic Kroger brand and that was the only thing that gave me some relief. Flonase did not decongest either side of my nostril at any time and it was a horrible waste of money"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "Had hoped it would help with a constant nightly congestion, but it didn't. Actually seemed a tiny bit worse. Doctor hasn't found any allergies in what has been tested. Though I have found anti-histamines to help in the past and I'm going to try those now to see if that helps."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "Works wonderfully. Takes a few days to kick in and leaves an unpleasant feeling in the throat though. The latter can easily be dealt with by using it just before eating. Surprised to see this is a prescription medicine though. It's over the counter in my home country and in other countries I've visited. Same goes for many similar nasal sprays."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "I was prescribed Flonase for sinus and middle ear pressure, 2 sprays each nostril, 2x per day. It works great, however... the heart palpitations and nervousness are not worth it for me. I had to stop using it."

Flonase Allergy Relief (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "Work great! I have post nasal drip and year-round allergies. My ENT suggested I use a steroid nasal spray, and I have used Flonase for almost 2 years. Once in a while, I get a bloody nose and take only half a dose until I feel better. I'd rather have a nosebleed twice a year and be able to breathe! I don't get the bad reviews on this site at all. Reviews everywhere else are very good."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "I took this for my inner ear infection and swollen lymph node. After 3rd day of one squirt in left nostril, I started getting anxiety and panic attacks. It worked great to relieve ear symptoms but definitely not worth the anxiety, and panic attacks."

Flonase Sensimist (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "I suffer from COPD, which also involves a constantly runny nose. I also suffer from seasonal allergies which make things worse with the sneezing & watering eyes. I have tried various allergy medicines in pill form. Only to have unwanted side affects even in the non drowsy form. My pulmonologist made a suggestion of trying a nasal spray. So I purchased some Flonase and after reading the information on its use, I tried it. OH BOY What a difference, my nose is not running breathing is clear and free. I am a very happy person , who is not suffering anymore. This a great product and one that I will be using from now on. I can now enjoy the Spring without the allergies."

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "I started Flonase a few weeks ago. The first few days I was impressed with the immediate relief I felt, but any noticeable positive effects wore off quickly and I used it intermittently without being able to feel a difference between 4 days in a row and 4 days off. It took me a little while to realize the correlation between Flonase and my sudden onset of adult night terrors. I'd wake up in the middle of the night with my heart racing faster than if I had sprinted up a mountain. The first time I thought I was maybe having a heart attack. Episodes would happen whether I took it at 11pm or 4 pm earlier that day. I also began also having palpitations and chest tightness during the day after the nights I took it, which in retrospect are likely related. I'm only 30 and not overweight and these effects started 1-2 days into taking Flonase. I can't imagine the cardiac effects it is having on people who take it for years!"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Rhinitis "I have chronic sinus congestion without explanation, and it interferes with me being able to use my new CPAP. A friend recommended Afrin, and it works great, but my sleep specialist warned me to not use it more than three days in a row, and I haven't. She also recommended that I switch to Flonase. Well, I'm about to go to bed, and it's day 4 in my rotation, so I decided to try Flonase. Well, instead of taking my congestion from 50% to 0% like Afrin, I now have a splitting headache, and my congestion went from 50% to 100%. Now I won't be able to sleep at all, because I can't use Afrin tonight, and instead of being partially blocked (which I can kind of deal with), I am completely blocked."

Flonase Sensimist (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "Used regular Flonase on and off for about a year. Caused bad side effects. Most notably cold sores. Huge oozy lip cold sores. As soon as one cleared up I'd get another. Weight gain all around my face and my stomach area. Sleeplessness. Also felt terrible dryness and rawness in my throat. Bloody nose all the time. The bad running faucet kind that happens in the middle of a nice dinner out or while hiking. Switched to Sensimist. Did great for about three days then same exact side effects. Dry throat, sores on mouth, bloody nose. Weight gain...ten lbs immediately. It works but the side effects are awful. Won't use again. I gave it away to a family member who seems to do well on it. I'll just use the neti pot and take Benadryl when needed. Sad. I wish they'd bring back Drixoral!"

Flonase (fluticasone) for Allergic Rhinitis "A regular user of Alavert, I thought I'd give Flonase's "six factors" a try, being a fan of being thorough. Unlike my former med, the floral-scented spray took a week to even begin taking an effect, which was minimal at best. At the first sign of a pollen explosion, my allergies went rampant, as though I hadn't just spent the last two weeks cramming spray up my nostrils. I'm praying for rain today for relief. And I'm going back to Alavert. Sorry Flonase."
