Implanon (etonogestrel) for Birth Control: I have this and I love it. No periods, nothing. It is great. I don't have to worry about a thing for three years. When it was first inserted I did feel a little sick, but it passed after a day. I would recommend this form of birth control to anyone that asks. I love it.

Implanon (etonogestrel) for Birth Control: I really like this implanon, no more worries. I even forget I have it sometimes. I really recommend it to everyone. I used the patch and the pill before, but so far, Implanon is the best. The only thing is, which is not bad, I'm getting lighter periods. Oh and I'm losing a lot of hair but I'm not sure if this is a side effect from the implanon.

Implanon (etonogestrel) for Birth Control: I got my implant in September 2007, a month after I had my daughter. It was practically a painless insertion, the only thing that kind of hurt was the numbing of the area. It stings a bit when they inject the medication in your arm. I love this thing, its the best ever. I've had no periods until now. I would recommend this to anyone who is absent minded and forgets their pill.

Implanon (etonogestrel) for Birth Control: I just got my Implanon implanted on Friday, after being on the Depo shot for 3 years. Very simple. The anxiety is the worst part. It took about 15 minutes to actually prep/insert. I consider myself moderatly tolerant to pain and needles - the numbing part hurt a bit but I couldn't feel him doing the implant at all and the doctor made the comment "you have tough skin". I have just a small bruise and a tiny hole - no stiches, just a bandaid and cover the same as when you donate blood.
