Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking this for a while, and as a fairly small lady, the side effects can be a little much at times. Sometimes it causes really nasty headaches behind my eyes due to my contact lenses. Also, I tend to get stomach pains that happen at random times throughout my cycle. However, it has kept my cycle very regular, and reduced my period from seven days to four. Great if you have irregular cycles, but the side effects can be a tad overpowering if you're not prepared.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I've been taking Cryselle for over a year and I find it the best birth control for me. I've taken several others that made me sick and Cryselle gives me the least side effects. I get moody on and off but that's normal for any woman in general. I've had less cramping and periods are normal. I gained 4 pounds but that's also something that comes with it, just like either losing weight. Overall I like Cryselle!!

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking this pill for about 7 months now and I thought that all the side effects it was giving me was something else so I just ignored them. Until now, when I finally hit it on the head and realized all my weird mood swings and everything are from this pill. I'm going to my doctor to switch. Every day I'm so depressed and want to cry all the time. I've lost interest in social activities and some days all I can do is lay in bed all day from fatigue and exhaustion over doing nothing. My skin is extremely oily and my hair that was once very thick is falling out. The smallest things irritate me and on my period it feels like the world is ending. I have difficulties breathing, dizzy spells, huge cravings for junk food.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: A month ago I switched from Lo Loestrin Fe to Cryselle because of the expense of Loestrin. So far I think Cryselle is okay. I'm on birth control to regulate and lighten my periods and Lo Loestrin did that for me. So far this month Cryselle didn't do anything for them. They are just as heavy and and I still have bad cramps. But they are regular. What I do like is it cleared some of my acne. I've had no weight gain but I am very emotional. Oh and my breasts have grown tremendously.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I took Cryselle for almost a year with no problems at all. The only reason I stopped is because me and my husband decided to expand our little family but I'm almost positive I will get back on it after baby is born.

Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: This is the only birth control I've been on that has stopped my breakthrough bleeding due to it being the highest dose possible. I have gained 20 pounds while on it (but honestly I needed to gain weight anyway) and to my surprise have larger breasts (which is not so bad either). I do get occasional migraines with this pill and slight mood swings, but over time it has gotten better, just think the body has to become used to it. I highly recommend it if you are experiencing breakthrough bleeding, it truely has been a lifesaver in that aspect. When I went from 3 weeks of bleeding to the normal 1 week, well worth the occasional migraine or mood swing.

Low-Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: These are my first birth control pills. I had heard about the weight gain and such but it never happened to me. I am really happy with the pill. During my pre-pill life, I had cramping and lots of gas and mood fluctuations during periods but during this pill I have very predictable periods and almost no mood imbalances or unusual pain. Since I work out regularly, I experienced no weight gain at all.

Low-Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I switched from Loestrin 24 to this pill because I was having spotting for 3 weeks out of every month. As soon as I started this pill, the spotting stopped and now I only have my period from the middle to the end of the last week of pills (4 days). Overall, I have few side effects besides some bloating at the end of the month and a pretty bad headache the first day of my period. I did gain 5 lbs. within a few months of starting this (on top of 5 lbs. from Loestrin), but a few months ago I started a modest diet/exercise plan and have lost 6 lbs. fairly easily. Well worth it for pregnancy prevention and regular periods!

Lo/Ovral-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I did not have major bloating, breast tenderness, extremely heavy flow, or nausea while taking this birth control. My flow was normal for 5 days.

Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: My gynecologist put me on this medication because I have ovarian cysts on both ovaries and also take anticonvulsants, which can make birth control less effective. Since this is the highest dose of BC we were hopeful to avoid surgery. The first month I was on Ogestrel I went from being emotionally well balanced to crying everyday, becoming angry very easily, and feeling very anxious. I did not have any further side effects, but could not take this medication any longer. The Ogestrel had no effect on the ovarian cysts.

ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel for Birth Control: This pill has been amazing EXCEPT for hair loss. I have a receding hair line now because of this pill. Short periods, no mood swings, no breakthrough bleeding.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel): This is my third month on this pill and so far it's really good. I have not experienced an bad acne or weight gain. My periods are much less painful I don't have to take any painkillers during my period now! (Sometimes I took 2-4 Aleve's a day to stop the pain). I haven't experienced any nausea or discomfort and I rarely have mood swings now.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I have had a fantastic experience with Cryselle. I take the pill before I go to bed every night, and have never had a side effect. I have been on Cryselle for 26 months, and have never gotten pregnant. Prior to taking Cryselle, my cycle was random and rarely hit at the same time each month, but since being on the birth control, my cycle is constant. I highly recommend this birth control.

Low-Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Low-Ogestrel-28 for a year now, and I am very happy with them. Before getting on birth control I would have heavy periods and my cramping was horrible. It was irregular too. Now I get my period exactly every 28 days. I don't cramp at all and I do not have any side effects at all. Me and my boyfriend feel safe with this birth control and I haven't had no bad experience it with. I will continue to use this until I decide to have kids.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I have had the worst experience with this pill. My face, chest, and back are CONSTANTLY breaking out. I've never had this problem until my doctor switched me to Cryselle.

Low-Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I was on Apri for a while and had no problems with it but early this year I had a problem with my periods and was possibly diagnosed with PCOS (Polycystic ovary syndrome) but my OBGYN disagreed, however she switched my birth control to the Low-Ogesterel 28. My period is super light and very short. I'm a model/body builder and have had no acne/weight gain which is very important for me. And still maintain a high libido. LOVE it. Almost afraid to switch. Would only switch to get less periods a year. However my period was replaced with a brown discharge which was concerning but got it confirmed as normal.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been taking this pill for 3 months and it has been great so far. My periods are lighter and I hardly have any cramping, when before they were horrible. (Really!) It has made me less moody during my periods, which my boyfriend finds amazing and it has also made the sex better in our relationship. Besides the slight weight gain, this pill has been exceptionally good to me and will continue to take it.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: This pill has done nothing but cause me problems. My skin is oily, I have really bad mood swings, I have gained 6 pounds and I'm constantly crying over any little thing. I find a reason to argue with my boyfriend over ANYTHING. I'm seriously thinking about stopping the pill.

Ogestrel-28 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I switched from another pill to this one because of side effects of the other pill. This pill regulated my moods, and increased my chest size and sex drive. However, I gained 12lbs in less than 6 months and was unable to lose it despite diet and exercise. It also gave me dangerously high blood pressure which went back down when I switched off of it. So if you are worried about weight gain and blood pressure this isn't the pill for you. Periods were also heavier than on the previous pill I was on.

Lo/Ovral (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Birth Control: I have been on Lo/Ovral for about 10 years now and have loved it but it has started giving me strange mood swings. I am 30 and feel that my hormones are changing and I need to speak to a doctor about changing my birth control. I have started noticing no sex drive, massive mood swings, lack of sleep and here recently weight gain. But like I said I have loved it up until now.

Cryselle (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel) for Endometriosis: I was on this birth control pill for four years. It shortened my period from 18 days to 7, stopped my cramps completely. I did not gain any weight, or have any other symptoms. When I stopped taking it within one month I gained 20 pounds, got acne, and my cramps are worse than before. My period was back up to 10 days after one month.

ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I find that I sweat a lot when taking this birth control as well as facial hair. Lately I have noticed that I have been getting blemishes on my face. Will be discussing this with the doctor.

Low-Ogestrel-21 (ethinyl estradiol / norgestrel): After taking it for two months I noticed some hair loss and problems with my contact lenses. It only got worse after taking it for seven months. I'm discontinuing it. I'm losing too much hair and I want to go back to using my contact lenses.
