For Birth Control "I had been on Lo Seasonique before and it was AMAZING and it cleared my skin and made me lose weight so needless to say I wasn't happy when the army clinic I had to go to didn't carry it. They gave me this and said it was just like my previous birth control and its NOT. I've gained almost 4lbs in the first month and its given me such painful cramps. They keep me up at night and make me want to vomit, decreased sexual desire. The only up side is I'm not pregnant."

For Birth Control "It is my first time taking birth control. That's why I was a bit nervous how my body will react. I'm still in the first three months. Second to be exact.(My doctor told me that the body needs about 3 months to adapt). I didn't feel any significant changes. Nothing too different than my regular PMS. No weight gain. No nausea. No mood changes. Of course my period was way shorter and less painful. My boobs became bigger (not a lot..but still). I got way more pimples before my period than usual but my face cleared out after that. I always try to eat something or have a snack before I take the pill and take it at the same time every day. Overall I think it's a good choice. Ps Everyone body is different so you might react differently. But I suggest you to try it out."

For Birth Control "I went on this pill after being on the NuvaRing for several years, and I have never felt so depressed. My life is wonderful and relatively low stress, but everything seems like a hurdle while I'm taking this pill. Not to mention a severely decreased sex drive. I actually look forward to my period weeks when I don't have the hormones in my system! Definitely looking forward to going off this pill - almost a year of it and the only positive was not getting pregnant!"

For Polycystic Ovary Syndrome "Taken the pill for 4 months now, after having no period for 6 months. Since I started the pill I have had two periods each pack, despite taking the pills like clockwork. I've also developed sore breasts and super painful cyst - like acne all the time. No weight gain, nausea, or blood pressure issues though. Not going to take this anymore!"

For Birth Control "I took this birth control for 3 years. I’m so glad I got off it. I can’t believe how stupid I was not to see the correlation between my destroyed relationships and erratic behavior and this pill. I trusted the medical industry so much and never even thought to ask my doctor about it. Even though I went ballistic and wanted to hurt myself regularly, I thought it was just my problem for some mystery reason like “depression” or “still getting over a breakup!” because I’m a “woman”! If you’re behaving like you’re possessed or have any anxiety, it’s not you, it’s the pill. Since I stopped taking it I haven’t had a single issue or anxiety attack or anything. Not only that, I started hearing music in my head again. Only once it came back did I realize it had been gone for so long. Never again."

For Birth Control "I love this BC because it is a low dose, I have not had any negative side effects other than my face wasn't as clear but it wasn't awful breaks outs either. My periods have always been 2-4 days and very regular. I have not had any breast pains or cramping. But everyone is different. I would recommend trying this out, I have been on this for almost 3 years and I will say if you are switching from a higher dose then this will be a bumpy transition but it will fix itself when you hormones get adjusted (I'd say about 2 months, or 2 period cycles). Like I said it may work for some but not everyone"

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "My doctor prescribed this pill to help reduce my heavy bleeding due to fibroids. I'm on my 2 month and am very happy with the pill it has significantly reduced my period flow. I also have anxiety and have noticed this pill has helped with my mood swings. I'm more relaxed and less irritated. I don't get spotting in between period s and that's a plus."

For Birth Control "I've always had bad skin, but after 4 months on this pill I had painful cystic acne all over my jawline. It didn't even look like acne; but I looked it up online and it was in fact hormonal acne brought on by birth control. I would also get terrible headaches the day my period started."

For Birth Control "I've been using Sronyx for a few months now and at first I was iffy about it. I was super moody, my breasts were tender ALL of the time, and my nose, which hasn't bled in over 3 years prior to taking it, would bleed like crazy. However, as someone who has suffered from ungodly heavy and painful periods lasting the full 7 days, this has been amazing. Cramps, while they still suck, aren't close to half as bad. My period usually lasts about 5 days and is so much lighter. My breasts are still super tender but no more nose bleeds, moodiness is back to normal, and not so awful periods"

For Birth Control "I have been using Sronyx for just about 3 months now and I am definitely not too fond of it. It makes me extremely moody. I get mad easily and at times I feel like I just want to cry for just about anything. Because of this, it messed up my relationship quite a bit and I have absolutely no desire to keep taking it. I'm going to keep at it for a little while longer to see if I get any better and to see if the side effects go away."

For Birth Control "I started this pill about 8 months ago and I blew up. I’ve gained at least 40 pounds and not to mention it made my boobs a grow out of no where. When I first started taking this pill, I was a 36C and now I am a 40DD. I hate this pill. Because of all the weight gain, I can’t fit into my clothes and it causes depression. The only reason I gave this pill a 2 was because I haven’t gotten pregnant but the side effects are bad."

For Birth Control "Horrendous experience. I was on orsythia for 8 years with NO issues whatsoever. That was suddenly discontinued by the manufacturer one day this year (likely for financial reasons, as I can’t find anything about it being harmful), and I was given Sronyx. Since the day I started it, I have had daily abdominal pain severe enough not to hold food down and acne like I’m 18 again (I’m in my 30’s). Disgusted at these pharma companies for just suddenly pulling a Med without warning and claiming that these generic medications are exactly the same - based on these hundreds of reviews, it’s clear that the inactive makeup of the drugs does not all react the same in our bodies."

For Birth Control "I was switched automatically from lutera To this Sronyx by my pharmacy 6 weeks ago. I’ve been on birth control on and off for 17 years and have two kids. This is not the same as lutera even though it is marketed with the same active ingredients. I’ve been on the pill 6 weeks and I can not have a good orgasm with my husband. We’ve tried everything and the last 8 times it has been flat. This is the only thing that has changed in the past 6 weeks."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking Sronyx for at least 3 months and I do not like it at all. I’ve been spotting every day for over a month and have terrible mood swings. I go from 0 to 100 so fast, it’s embarrassing. I went from working out 3 times a week to barely making it through the day with any energy left. I will be switching to something better. The only pro is my breasts have gotten a little fuller. I’ll take being flat chested over bleeding out any day."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Sronyx for 2 weeks. Previously, I took Generess for 4 years. Loved it. Stopped because insurance will only cover the new generic version and it caused irregular periods for me. The purpose for taking BC/Sronyx is to shorten and lighten my periods because of my anemia. So far, I have experienced the following side effects: - Bloat/Weight gain (4 lbs) - Moodiness/Irritability (severe) - Acne (I've NEVER had acne issues until now!) - Chest/side neck pain - Breast Swelling/Tenderness (for some reason my right breast hurts more often) - Scalp/skin itchiness - Trouble wearing contacts (dry eyes, mild burning sensation at times) Overall: I do not recommend this BC. My body doesn't like it at all. Looking to switch immediately."

For Birth Control "I have only been on Sronyx for a week and a half and I already feel as if I am gaining a large amount of weight. I took Aviane for a year prior (I was off birth control in between Aviane and Sronyx for about a year) and found that I lost weight on that pill. I'm wondering if weight gain is just an initial side effect of Sronyx and that I'll eventually go back to my normal weight?"

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for about 2 years now. It has made me gain over 40 pounds and increased my acne when I am on placebo pills. I am constantly depressed and eating more than when I was on other birth control pills. I am bloated and constantly having pregnancy scares. I am currently having abdominal cramps and white discharge, I have lighter and lighter periods. I do not drink or smoke, it feels there are more side effects with this type of birth control and I will take an at home pregnancy test. Other than that, the next doctor's visit I will most likely change my birth control."

For Birth Control "I absolutely love Sronyx! I had a few issues with it for only the first few months: such as my acne was pretty bad at first, but it was probably because my hormones were starting to adjust to taking the birth control. After about a month or two the acne had subsided, and now my face is clear! I also initially experienced a bit of weight gain, especially my breasts. But with some working out at the gym and keeping my appetite at bay, all of that initial weight gain is now gone and I am back to my normal size! My periods have been a breeze. I still experience some cramping, but it's not nearly as bad as before I went on birth control. My bleeding is also a LOT lighter, I no longer have to change my tampon every hour like I used to. The first few months are a little rocky, but don't give up on it after just a month or two. Just wait it out, and allow your body some time to get used to this pill... it will be worth it!"

For Birth Control "I literally took the pill once and had the absolute worst side effects. I had headaches, I was vomiting, I had chills, dizziness. This was my first experience with birth control and it’s honestly scared me from starting any other."

For Birth Control "So I’ve been on this pill for 3 months and I’ve noticed my acne getting really bad! I’ve never had acne before and now it’s so bad. Other than my acne being terrible, the pill has been great. I haven’t had any bad symptoms besides the acne. Honestly, if you want to get on a birth control to help you with your acne then this might not be the right one for you."

"BEST BIRTH CONTROL EVER. I took Yasmin when I was 16 and it made me a total wackadoo...so I was a tad weary about trying any sort of hormonal birth control again...but I'm so glad I did! I've been on Sronyx for about a month and I feel great! My libido has even gone up, which my boyfriend greatly appreciates."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I had a severe reaction to this medication. I will never recommend this to anyone!! Severe acne all over my face, neck, chest, & back. I gained 6 lbs in the first week, and then 3 more the next week. I had a headache that never went away."

For Birth Control "I’ve been taking this pill for a month. My boyfriend and I don’t use protection, but he always pulls out, before he nuts. My period is late this month, but this is also my first time ever taking birth control, and the first month of it. Google says that it’s supposed to happen, but yet, I’m so scared that I could be pregnant. It gives me such bad mood swings and I get so mad and yell or get sad and cry about everything."
