"PROS: What I love about Falmina: I have no cramps, no spotting between periods, no heavy bleeding. Only 3 days of very light bleeding. last day I only wear a pantie liner. CON: As I was reading AS36 experience, I thought I was reading my own. Gained about 20lbs in less than 6 months while taking the Falmina. From a size 2-4 to 6, bra size 34B to 38D (hubby loves it). I've become very anxious and depressed. I got so crazy and suicidal, I had to see a Psy. he put me on depression meds (which maybe contribute to my weight gain). I remember that I experienced the emotional/mental issues while taking Yaz, that's why I checked drugs.com. And bingo..."

"I was prescribed this as a budget friendly (no insurance, with good rx you can get it for $14) birth control. I've been on it for around 7 months now, and so far I've had more good than bad. Its helped regulate and shorten my period, while also almost eliminating my cramps. Before I was on it I used to be bed bound for the first and last day of my period. I've lost a ton of weight on this pill, but mostly because it almost eliminated my appetite. The worst thing is the god awful hot flashes. Constantly through the day I have them and terrible night sweats that wake me up in the middle of the night, I'm in my early 20s and have never had this issue before. I deal with BPD and depression but haven't noticed a change in my stability like others have. All together I wouldn't recommend, but its also not the worst I've taken."
