Imvexxy (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I got bad migraine headaches on this medication. Imvexxy I was not able to work because of the headaches/nausea. I can't tolerate this medication. I was even on the lowest dose and it's still horrible. I will go to another option that is not hormonal. This stuff is vicious. If I could give it a Zero, I would."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "Extraordinarily overpriced since it is plant based - which means it is probably just soy. Even with my medicare drug insurance, it was going to be over $200. I called a Pharmacy where I used to get my compounded hormones - $27 plus shipping. Suggest you do too. "

Estring (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "Best decision I ever made. I had lost feelings in my breasts and was so dry down there I wanted to cry. Was in vaginal pain every day. Dr. said Estring would take at least 2 weeks to begin working. For me it began working within 3 days. I feel like a new woman."

Vagifem (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I used Vafifem for Atrophic Vaginitis for 8 years. I experienced hair loss, weight gain, breathlessness, painful headaches, and extreme shoulder pain resulting in limited mobility in my arms. I have also developed an abnormal heart rate resulting in Atrial Fibrillation and high blood pressure. My doctor advised me to stop using it. On stopping all of the above symptoms disappeared. I think this medication is highly toxic for some women and should be monitored more closely by your doctor."

Imvexxy (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "Used Imvexxy before bed the first time and could tell a difference the next morning a HUGE improvement for me. I guess over time I hadn't realized how Sahara dry things were. Still new to it but haven't noticed any side effects thus far. HUGE HUGE difference"

Estring (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I started using estring because of vaginal dryness and urinary frequency. It's been 4 weeks since I started using the ring and found that it was a little odd inserting a ring that size. So far I am tolerating it well. I went from being dry as the Sahara Desert to feeling moist again so I give it an A for that. I had been on estrace for 2 years and cannot stand the messiness. Estrace cream made me get more yeast infections. I'm done with the cream and in with the ring. Hopefully I will still keep having good results with the ring."

Imvexxy (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I’ve been using this for a few months and am new to these type of products. This product gets all over your underwear even if you insert it before bed. You wake with it everywhere. I think more comes out than stays in. I’m going to ask for something else because I don’t think this really helps dryness."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I'm 57 and have been using Estrace cream sporadically for about a year. I've found the drug component to be pretty effective, but I just hate that greasy goop it's put in. I seems to leave a trail for days as it leaks out. I would prefer something that absorbs better."

Imvexxy (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I was prescribed Imvexxy and 1) it took too long to work 2) I had to endure additional testing because the Company that created it didn’t have the foresight to think that maybe they shouldn’t make the capsule pinkish which when dissolved and leaked on panties could be mistaken for spotting in a post menopausal female. How stupid! No thanks. My Dr. prescribed the Premarin cream for me instead. I only use a tiny amount 2x a week . Worked quickly. Not messy."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "this past Feb I literally thought my insides were being ripped out. Expected to see them lying on the floor after sex one Monday afternoon.I was throbbing and hurting the rest of the evening and into the the morning. The next day I called my GYN and begged to be seen. she diagnosed my with this and several rips. She gave me an Estrace cream sample and prescription along with one for the rips. I do not have medical insurance.I healed the rips with coconut oil and started the cream 1 oz 2 times a week, She says it is not absorbed. Well, all I know is that my hot flashes have lessened, sex is no pain and if I don't use it like I'm supposed to, all that changes! I'm blessed to have friends in the medical field that can keep me in samples."

Imvexxy (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I’m 51 and been in menopause for a few years. Imvexxy and progesterone 100mg have helped me 100 percent! I have been taking both for 2 weeks and intercourse is comfortable and pleasurable. I had a few headaches the first week. No other side effects. My husband and I couldn’t be happier with the results of Imvexxy. He thinks my breasts feel larger than before too. Thankful customer."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Hypoestrogenism "I am a 50 year old woman who started menopause around 37. I've been prescribed this cream and did well on it, but if I stop taking it, I tend to go back to having vaginal dryness. My main concern is that I've never been bigger than a size 8 and now I can hardly fit into a 10. I think it's caused weight gain and if I stop taking it, the weight does not go away. Has anyone else experienced this? "

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Urethritis "I have been using Estrace cream for 11 years and it's been working. I use about 1/3 applicator every 5 or 6 days. Suddenly, it stopped working. I don't have a bladder infection, I already went through yeast infection treatment both Diflucan and vaginal creams, and my vagina still burns. The Estrace cream relieves it, but only for about 6 or 10 hours. I am 70 and not sexually active. I know years ago the urologist said everything look kind of shriveled up and dry down there. Could the hormone cream just not work anymore? Now what do I do?"

Estring (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I got the Estring yesterday after paying $430!!! Had no idea it was that expensive. I can’t insert it where it will stay in place. I had a hysterectomy 20 years ago and assume it’s because my cervix was removed. This is an incredibly expensive disaster. I’m very unhappy and at a loss as to what to do."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Urethritis "I have used Estrace samples for 6 months or so..... I ran out and went to buy another tube... 375.00!! And my insurance didn't cover any of it. (Costco was 325.00) I called my doctor and they gave me a coupon, but my insurance didn't work with it. So over priced... and my insurance just went up a 100 dollars a month... I just can't buy a medicine that is so over priced. I thought it would be 50 dollars or so... there must be something else we can use? Also, the information I read said: estrogens may increase the chances of getting cancer of the uterus. Why would we want to take this? I've got to do more homework and find something better!!"

Vagifem (estradiol) "This medicine helped my dryness greatly and I can once again enjoy great sexual relations, However, being a migraine sufferer to begin with, this medicine has really magnified my headaches and the number I get each month. I would love to continue using it for the effectiveness, but can't be nonfunctional due to the number of and severeness of my migraines."

Estring (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I started using estring ring a little over a month and a half ago. I was unsure if I really wanted to walk around for 90 days with this object in my vagina. I thought I would be able to feel it. I was so totally wrong! Finally after having it in my possession for a month I finally inserted it and waited for results. Menopause had caused my vagina walls to become thinner and dryer. Sex with my husband was frustrating! I still wanted to be intimate but my vagina was not cooperating! So here we are at the almost 2 month mark, and I am totally satisfied with my ring! My walls seem to have more elasticity, lubrication, and it feels like it belongs to me again!! I do not feel it at all, and my husband says it does not bother him."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Urethritis "I used this once 3 weeks ago. Immediately had horrible burning and was up all night with what felt like a UTI. Am now on my 3rd antibiotic due to the inflammation and feel like these symptoms will never go away. It may be a Godsend for some, but if you are allergic, it is a nightmare."

Estring (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I have dryness and painful sex. I was so excited to try this but after three days I had to take it out. It was not uncomfortable, in fact I couldn’t feel it but the abdominal cramping was unbearable and then the back pain and now on the third day of it out I have terrible bloating. It is not worth it and frankly the pain kept me up at night. I didn’t know it was related to the ring until I took it out."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I have been using 1mg every night for 12 days and am not sure if I can tolerate my side effect symptoms much longer to see if the cream actually works to diminish extremely painful intercourse due to dryness. I now have very tender breasts, a constant mild headache, and swelling, tenderness, and dryness of the external genitalia almost since the first day that I started using the cream. The only good effect so far is that my libido does seem to be heightened. So now I feel 'sexy' again but can't do anything about it because of all my discomfort! I plan on continuing using the cream at every third day intervals for 2 more weeks to see if my side effects subside. If I am still miserable, I will stop the medication and look for a non prescription vaginal moisturizer as my last hope for a continued sex life."

Vagifem (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "Really good experience with stronger dose. Now on lower dose and after a year or so the effect is nothing like as good. As atrophic vaginal conditions increase with age, it is obvious that what once worked well will no longer be effective at lower dosage. It is a shame that so many women will have to suffer this painful condition because of a shiort term study of a very small sample of women."

Yuvafem (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I am so angry about this issue. Vagifem works, Yavafem does not. Like many of the others my insurance changed and now Vagifem is not covered. Yuvafem was like using nothing. Everything went right back to the way it was before weeks of treatment with vagifem (burning urination, dryness in vagina). I give up."

Estrace Vaginal Cream (estradiol) for Atrophic Vaginitis "I have been using estrace vaginal cream for 8 weeks now, about 2 x a week and it has helped my vaginal dryness and prolapse but I am experiencing side effects, anxiety, bleeding gums, joint and muscle pain, problems with sleep. I don't like this. I am going to look for a more natural estrogen."
