Reviews for Beyaz

"I've been taking Beyaz for about a week now, and it has been great. The only side effect I've really had a problem with are intense cravings. None of the other side effects (clearer skin, increased libido) have been a problem to me in the slightest. I would say that starting to take Beyaz was a wonderful choice."

"I have been on Beyaz for about 3 weeks after switching from yaz due to cost. Now and I feel more bloated, depressed, and have experienced weight gain. I have also had headaches. I haven't had a real period in several months since Yaz would just make me have cramping, not actually bleeding. I even have taken tests to ensure I wasn't pregnant because I wasn't bleeding. I'm not sure if the same thing works for Beyaz or not. I just hope my body adapts to this and I start to lose weight again and get energy back."

"I've been on Beyaz for 1 month. It's the first kind I've tried and it's worked pretty good for me so far. The only problem is that I have moments where I get extremely moody. My hunger has increased and I get headaches more often than usual. Also towards the end of the pack I started spotting a lot. Other than that I'm happy with it. The side effects aren't too bad so I can't complain. They will probably go away since I've only been on it for a month and my body's still getting used to it."

"I switched to Beyaz about 4 years ago, after being on OrthoNovum. The first 3 months was tough. I recall having irritability, fatigue, discolored complexion, breakthrough bleeding during sex, etc. After that transition I felt fine. About 2 years ago my period began being lighter and lighter and evenutally went away. I asked my GYN if it was ok and she assured me that Beyaz may eliminate my period. At first I was displeased because I wanted a period to prove that I wasn't pregnant each month. But when my gyno told me she can put me on something else to force a period, I told her no! Now with the new year, I discovered that my new RX plan doesnt cover ANY of the BEYAZ/RAJANI/SAFYRAL contraceptives. I'm DOOMED!! :-("

"I started this birth control when I was 18. It was then called yaz and changed to beyaz. I love it, it shortens my periods to 2 to 3 days and that was back then. I have had 2 kids and after nursing and using a different pill during that time I got back on beyaz... Now it has actually stopped my periods after a couple months of use. I highly recommend trying this pill I have had zero issues with it all positive from this gal! ( I am now 28) so I've used this for a looong time"

"My daughter, after using Beyaz for 6 months, developed bruises, swollen lumps, joint pain, and finally she needed to use crutches to walk. We saw many doctors, but none knew what to do. So on our own, we decided she should go off off Beyaz, and the symptoms slowly disappeared. 9 months later, they are gone, thankfully, but it was a nightmare!"

"I have been on Beyaz for 6 months and as a birth control, it works as should. When I first started I had no symptoms. But I gained around 10-15 pounds which, for my size isn't a bad thing, but the fact I don't fit in my pants comfortably now stinks. For my cramps, it didn't do a single thing. I still get cramps that make me want to curl in a ball all day. While my period is finally regular, it seems a little heavier. I was told it would help my cramps and period, but I guess my body doesn't like that. "

"I've never taken birth control before. I'm 24 and I got on it to try to stop sudden breakouts, I've been on Beyaz for only 6 days.. I can see my oily skin becoming noticeably less oily and shine free throughout the day, which I'm hoping will clear my face completely in the long run. As of now, my skin feels softer, less oily and seems to be clearing up. On the down side, I feel very, very tired. I'm on my last week of school taking finals and I regret not having waited until after finals because all I want to do is sleep. I do feel a little more irritable than usual but it's manageable."

"Overall this was a good pill for me. The only reason I stopped taking it was because i wanted to switch to a form of birth control that i didnt have to take everyday. At first for maybe the first two weeks I felt more depressed but after that I felt the same as usual. I did spot through pretty much the whole second month BUT that has happened with every birth control I have been on, so I think it is just my body. There was also a mild increase in acne toward the end of the first pack but it went away and my skin became very clear. This pill was also helpful for excess hair growth that i have in certain areas. It was a helpful pill for my pms symptoms and to regulate my periods."

"So I will say that Beyaz has served its course. I've been on it for a little over a year and can only offer 2 pros. Pros: it stopped my period, it prevented pregnancy. Cons: the mood swings are terrible, I am always irritated, every little thing bothers me, I am so rude to my husband. Not to mention, I cry at the drop of a dime. Before Beyaz, I could count on one hand the number of times I had cried in the last 5 years. Also, the weight gain. My doctor put me on Beyaz because it was supposed to help me lose weight. Instead, I have gained everywhere & although I constantly work out, I can't lose the weight. I have never had acne, so I can't really speak on that, but I will say that I have had quite a few breakouts while being on Beyaz."

"I've been on Beyaz for 6 days now and I feel slightly different. Started on the first day of my period. I don't know if it's me but I've been feeling nauseous on day 5 and a tiny headache here and there. Hope this is just a beginning process lets see how it goes, I'm not liking how I feel. Just blah."

"When I first started taking Beyaz it was great. I had no problems but towards the end of the cycle I had terrible attitude, was very emotional, nauseous and too many headaches. Once my period was gone it came back a day after and it was light to medium. Very bad cramps. My appetite increased a lot more when I started. But everyone's body is different and would react different to the pills."

"I've been on Beyaz going on 5 years now. Good thing about this birth control is: it does the job! No babies, no bad acne, super light periods here and there.. However, I've been experiencing mood swings lately. I will cry and cry and cry till I can't cry no more! I'm so mean to people now..which is crazy because I'm usually people person-ish most of the time. It makes me super hot at night and makes my chest feel heavier than usual. It's cool for keeping weight down, acne, and no babies. I just think Beyaz has ran its course for my body."

"I've only been taking Beyaz for a week but I have noticed a slight decrease in appetite. I've had minor headaches and feeling bloated. I just hope I don't gain weight, the other pill I was on made me gain 20 pounds."

"I've been off Beyax almost a year now and have had only 2 cycles. I was on the pill a little over 5 years and went off of the pill due to weight gain, anxiety, and always feeling bad. I haven't had a period since March 2017 which results in me constantly having to take Pregnancy test to make sure I'm not pregnant (which I'm not). I wish I've never started taking it. Please make sure your OBGYN explains all of the side effects before and after the pill"

"Beyaz didn't work for me. My GYN put my on this pill because I wasn't ovulating. This pill turned out to be my worst nightmare. The first week, I became very emotional and light menstrual bleeding and cramps. The second week my bleeding became heavier and cramps turned into preassure in my lower abdominal area. The pressure made me so uncomfortable. No medicine helped. Called my GYN office and spoke with her nurse. She suggested doubling up on the meds I was currently taking. That helped some but not much. The third week the bleeding became extreme with large blood clots. Having to wear 2 huge pads at a time was awful. And the pressure turned back into pain. I called my GYN back they advised me to stop the pill immediately."

"BEYAZ is my WORST ENEMY! I took this BC pill for 1 1/2 months. Completed week 1 and the mood swings started. Week 3 I started bleeding light with minor cramps. Week 4 my light bleeding turned into heavy bleeding changing my pad every hour or less. The cramps were no longer minor they were just unbearable that I had to take Norco and Ibuprofen at the same time just to take the edge off. I spoke to my GYN about the symptoms and I was advise to give it another try even after I was in the ER injected with Dilaudid. Started 2nd pack as the bleeding and cramping still continues. Put on Vicodin and Naproxen for pain. I became depressed, angry, isolated, emotionally unattached and extremely tired I quit taking it mid way and now I'm in recovery."

"For 4 years I was on Yaz. I stopped when I got pregnant and waited over a year to get back on the pill. I couldn't handle even general PMS: bloating, cramping, achy body, emotional roller coaster, break-outs, not to mention feeling tired and irritable. So I went to my OB-GYN to get back on Yaz, but she prescribed BeYaz instead. "

"I was taking Yaz .. it worked great, I lost weight, my skin and hair is healthier. Now I have been switched to Beyaz and the first day I noticed I was craving and hungry late at night. It's only been a week and I do not like the side effects. "

"I was on it for 2 years and overall it wasn't that bad. I'm in the market for a new birth control though, so I've been looking around. My biggest takeaways from Beyaz is that it made me a little moody. For the most part, I was always causing issues with my ex, but to be honest, he was actually horrible, so maybe it wasn't the pills. I gained probably 15-20 lbs overall, which isn't horrible, but I've lost 30 lbs since being off and I'm not looking to gain it all back. My skin was decent and I never got pregnant, so overall it did its job."

"I started Beyaz a year ago and wow its been a trip! First 3 months I BLED NON STOP. I started the pill at the beginning of my period so naturally I went the first few days with my period. But after my usually 3-4 day cycle, I wouldn't stop bleeding. It wasn't a period bleeding but there was definitely spotting to the point where I had to wear a liner or pad. For 3 consecutive months I spotted nonstop. When I went back to the doctor for my next packets, she said i just needed to adjust. As soon as I started my 4th month, things were normal. I stopped spotting, I bled only during my period and things were fine. I also broke out only on my chin during the first 2 months. Eventually it cleared up and everything was good. I haven't had a pregnancy scare, my boyfriend and I never use condoms so I think its been really effective. Only thing I will say is that I used to rarely get cramps before, and now I get some usually on my first day and now my periods are about 4-5 days instead of 3-4"

"I started Beyaz my senior year of high school (about 7 and a half years ago) and have been on it ever since! Over the years, I've heard horror stories from girlfriends about having to try multiple different pills before finding one that was right for them, and all the side effects that went along with trying them. I was extremely lucky to have originally been prescribed Beyaz because I feel as though I have barely experienced any negative side effects. I did develop a sensitivity to caffeine that I think may be related to the pill, but it's definitely something that's manageable. My insurance is going to change at the beginning of the year and Beyaz will no longer be covered. I'm going to miss it because it worked so well for me!"

"This was the worst medication I've ever taken. It gave me terrible nausea, cramps, and stomach pain. I was somehow allergic to the placebo reminder pills - it gave me hives and trouble breathing. It also caused bladder spasms. You couldn't pay me to take this again."
