Voltaren (diclofenac) "Side of foot been hurting for 7-10 days.X-rays negative. Doc said it is tendonitis. ( doesn't know what else it is). He said voltaren should be helpful, reduce the discomfort. I purchased a tube of voltaren for $20. I have now applied it 4 times. Very disappointing. I don't feel anything from it! It is a waste."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "I have severe osteoarthritis, and recently my shoulder started hurting so bad I couldn't sleep, as well as my thumb. I am on pain meds for fibromyalgia but was taking 4 Advil at night which didn't help the arthritis at all. By the 2nd day of the (Dr. given) samples of Zorvolex, the shoulder and thumb pain was barely noticeable. Sadly, my insurance won't cover it and I can't afford the almost $500 a month. Hoping to get some help from another resource because this med really works."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I have been treated for plantar fasciitis (heel spurs) in my foot for 8 weeks - having several painful shots with little relief. I have only taken 3 doses of the Voltaren and I am feeling 90% pain free! I hope this will only improve with a little more treatment. I have had no noticeable side effects as of yet."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I fell and broke the Radial head of my elbow (have never broken anything before and I am 45 yrs old). The doctor put me on Vicodin and it did nothing for that pain, UNTIL he gave me Zipsor, I was much much better in about an hour! The only side effect was that I was a little sleepy."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I have plantar fascitis and strained a ligament below the ankle. I was in severe pain and could hardly walk. I'm a Police Officer and need mobility. My foot doctor put me on Zipsor three to four times daily. After the second day on Zipsor I really have felt no pain and no side effects. This medicine is a life saver. It also has me feeling better by giving me more energy."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "I am bone on bone in my knee and was in a lot of pain. Had not been able to walk easily for several months. I felt so much better after taking 2 doses I was shocked. After three days I feel better than I have before I had the surgery that ended up making my knee worse than before. My only complaint is having to take three doses a day and it makes me very sleepy. I've tried prescription aleve and meloxicam and had stomach issues from both and I'm allergic to something in Celebrex. I feel like this medicine is a godsend."

"I awoke one morning to find that suddenly I was unable to walk due to tendinitis in my hip - the pain was excruciating and radiated down my leg to the knee. I was prescribed diclofenac sodium 75mg 2x per day and within 1 day the pain was manageable, in 2 days I was walking again. I’ve only been on it a few days now. It’s an amazing drug, however, although I haven’t experienced any side effects (yet) what I’ve read has scared me quite a bit. I’m hoping that PT will allow me to get off it ASAP but truly, this drug works - what a lifesaver!"

Zipsor (diclofenac) "On 12/5/2013 my mother who earlier that day was enjoying a visit from my brother, vibrant, active and happy, visited her doctor for a regular follow up for neck pain caused by a work injury many years earlier. Upon returning home, she took a 25 mg Zipsor capsule offered to her by her doctor as a sample/trial. Within hours, she was non-responsive and had suffered a stroke. She passed away on 12/9/2013."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "Was given voltaren-XR for knee pain. I am still unable to feel any effects. I also can't take Advil with it, which seems to be the only thing that was helping. Tylenol makes me very sleepy. Taking that with the Voltaren is not an option as I need to be alert for my job."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "This is a fantastic medicine if you suffer from classic migraine with aura. I take it as soon as I feel a migraine coming, and Zipsor stops the migraine in 15 minutes (at the longest 30 mins). It does not leave me in a weird fog like Zomig or Imitrex. Zomig is a wonderful alternative to Triptans."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I have had both knees arthroscopic in the last year and half. I ended up reinjurying one knee and when this happened the other knee begins to swell and hurt because it is compensating for the injury knee. I found out I have Pesanserine bursitis, which is very painful especially going up stairs. I was beginning to shuffle from one room to another. I had two Zipsor left from a sample pack I got from the doctor. I try to hang on to them in case my pain got worse. Since my doctors office had not received any samples I ask if they could call in a prescription. I didn't care about the cost. Zipsor has helped the pain and swelling tremendously in my knees. Since I have arthritis in my knees I know this will be my go to as needed pain reliever."

"12 days ago I feel down and bruised/fractured 3 ribs on my left side of body, I blame myself for having too much fun with the Gin bottle. Ibuprofen didn't even touch the pain, However, my medical Marijuana alleviated it, but only for like 3 hours and I can not be stoned all day as I have things to do. Went to my Doctor, was prescribed 75mg Diclofenac at twice daily. I've read the horrible reviews on here and know that everyone is different and they are probably on a pleathera of other medications, so take that into account. Also, I am the type of guy that if the side effects are going to happen they will certainly happen to me. Now on Day 10 of diclofenac and Zero side effects from start to current, and my ribs are healing and in less pain to where I can switch back to ibuprofen now. In my experience: Diclofenac is a great medication for pain, but use short-term."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "I'm diabetic with Scoliosis-extensive degenerative deterioration of lower back L2-L5 and arthritis. Without Zorvolex 35mg 3x a day, I would be experiencing sharp, shooting pain every time I moved. Sneezing and coughing was excruciating! I do wear my back brace all the time for additional back support. I've been taking Zorvolex for over a week. It works very well and I haven't experienced any side effects yet"

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "I have severe neck pain. I normally take 800 mg of ibuprofen. Today, even that didn't get rid of my pain so I decided to take a Zorvolex when it was time for me to dose again instead of taking the ibuprofen. My pain went from a 10 + down to a 3. I highly recommend this medication but would save to take your first dose at night in case it makes you feel drowsy. I am so thankful but I'm finally out of pain after such a long day of feeling bad."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I'm a pitcher and have had bursitis on my upper hamstring for months. It finally gave out and caused a lot of pain where I could barely sit down. My doctor gave me Zipsor and it was 90% better in 1 day. My teammates take a lot of things for pain but I got to say Zipsor has been the best to date."

Voltaren (diclofenac) "I had 2 shoulder surgeries. My doctor gave me this medication between the surgeries for pain. It worked. I did not get a "high" from it and it helped the pain. I do not like taking pills at all, but in severe cases I will use it and this did the trick."

"I had ongoing pain a month after an amputation, so I was prescribed this diclofenac. Nothing OTC was enough to help the pain. This stuff is horrible! First, I had a horrible headache the day after starting it. The next day the muscles in my back were so bad I could barely lean forward to change my baby's diaper. It's ridiculous when you take something for pain and then it causes more pain. There has to be something stronger that isn't a nightmarish joke like this. I'll take the amputation pain. It's sad people are left to deal with horrible pain vs pain that's horrible. Now I need something for depression."

Zipsor (diclofenac) "I have had severe migraines for 15 years and no medication has been able to give me much relief until I tried Zipsor. My doctor gave me a few samples, to take up to 4 a day (which I assumed I'd be doing when a migraine came along). I took one pill and felt relief within 30 minutes and much better after an hour. I am so glad I have this medicine, it's a miracle!"

"Had major back surgery (spinal fusion L1, L2, L3 vertebrae) in 2007 with little lasting effect on major pain. Pain was on a scale of 9. Have narcotics allergy, and medicines leave my body quicker than they can start working. Been in major pain since 2002 with little to no relief. Started taking diclofenac 75 mg twice a day, and pain threshold is now on scale of 2. This medicine has greatly increased my quality of life and, so far, have had no side effects."

"I'm a great fan of diclofenac. I have severe lumbar stenosis and osteoarthritis of the hips and knees, and could not function without some relief of the pain. Diclofenac does not relieve all of my pain, but it relieves 60-70 percent of it, or enough to allow me to have a life. For me it appears to be safe and effective. The only side -effect I've experienced is occasional mild constipation. I recommend it highly."

"I started taking this medication 75 mg, 2 days now. It doesn't take the pain away. I have a pain near my right shoulder, never had before. Not sure if related. Don't like the side effects. I have high blood pressure which I told the doctor and this can cause a heart attack and stroke and increase it too. I am very nervous about taking it. Any one else having this issue.? Would like to hear from you."

"I was diagnosed with gout at age 25. I tried numerous over the counter and homeopathic remedies over the years. This is by far the best for my gout flare-ups. I take 100mg every three hours until pain subsides. Usually one tablet, sometimes two, but never any more. Going on 10 years now. Its a miracle for my infliction. Only side effects is a little diarrhea sometimes."

Zorvolex (diclofenac) "I have been dealing with extreme pain in my hip and groin area. I took one pill but never again. I first experienced drowsiness, which isn't anything to worry about until I started to not feel right in my head. Lasted for about 20 minutes. Then as I was standing in the kitchen making dinner I developed extreme nausea for about 5 minutes. This led to a rush shooting straight to my head and on came a dizzy spell that lasted for about 20 seconds. Followed by a partial black out for a split second, vision came back and I went to sit down moments later I was perfectly ok. Well besides feeling freaked out of course. I would never recommend this medicine to anyone."
