For Birth Control "I've noticed a wide range of comments from no side effects to tons of side effects and I think everyone's body chemistry is just different and you have to fins what works for you. I haven't had any side effects so far and have been on Reclipsen for 2 months but I also have a lot of hormonal imbalances that I'm trying to correct due to having a brain tumor and surgery to remove it. My hair has been falling out and I've lost 25 lbs since my surgery (March 25th) so nothing I am experiencing can really be contributed to my birth control."

For Birth Control "I have been on Reclipsen for about a year now. I have definitely noticed a decrease in sex drive which has caused some issues. Some emotional ups and downs but I guess that is to be expected. I'm not sure if it is related to the birth control but I have noticed some weight gain which has been hard to control but I have had no breakthrough bleeding and altogether I have been pretty pleased. I can honestly say it has worked well as a birth control for me seeing as I haven't gotten pregnant and I have been on the pill for over a year now."

For Birth Control "I've been on Reclipsen for a month for regular birth control, period regulation ,and period cramps. The first few days I had overall body weakness and a bad headache, both which subsided after those days. I had unprotected sex a week and a half after starting and did not get pregnant so it's good for that, but when my period came around the first day was awful, the worse it had been in awhile. I heard you have to take it for more than a month for the cramps to ease up so maybe next month will be better. I'll obviously also have to wait until next month to see if my period comes around the same time , but overall I'd probably recommend to a friend."

For Birth Control "I've been on reclipsen for 7 months so far and I believe this will be my last. I started tracking how I feel every single day up to my cycle day. I started to realized reoccuring symptoms on the same cycle days of the medication! I'm finally throwing in the hat. Last month my neck became sore and my shoulders and back pain has escalated! Well now I can't even move my neck side to side on the same cycle day. I believe this medicine has not helped my IBS (irritable bowel syndrome), has made me have heart palpitations, a few days before my period I get really deeply depressed on the same day every month and have extreme dark thoughts. I've had tooth aches, headaches, strong cramps, black blood, bladder pain, extreme weightloss, no appetite, dizziness, seizures, constant anxiety, extreme fatigue and weakness and all these weird things over the course of the last few months. My periods wouldn't come till 4 days into the sugar pills, and I would suffer the last week of the pills, and 3 days into my period."

For Birth Control "Hated this birth control! It was effective, sure. Regulated periods, check (although I never had an issue with that before). The worst thing about this (for me) was that it gave me horrible mood swings! I did not recognize the person that I was while on this BC and it didn't occur to me for a long time what was causing me to act this way. I was so mean and I'm normally a very happy, chipper kind of person. I eventually just decided to do without and haven't gone back since (2+ years). I feel SO much better. It only took a few weeks for me to feel "normal" again."

For Birth Control "So I had to switch from Caziant to this and the first month was fine but all of a sudden I'm always angry and although I don't break out normally I have acne all over my cheeks and like I've seen with other people I think I might have a yeast or bacteria infection, which I have never had before."

For Birth Control "I've been on reclipsen for about 5 months now for terrible cramps. Doesn't make the cramps go away completely but for the most part. Gained a few pounds & I've noticed some mood swings & hasn't really done anything for my acne. But overall good for me & id recommend it."

For Birth Control "I've been on Reclipsen for almost 3 months and have been a little more emotional and cried a little more but nothing horrible on the emotional side. I just recently experienced breakthrough bleeding out of the blue - basically as much as a pad a day. Today is day 3 of this, not sure why this happens but apparently it's a common side effect (at least for the first 3 months) hopefully it won't continue or else I may have to switch. Otherwise so far so good with this pill."

For Birth Control "I've been taking reclipsen for almost two years. The first 3 months I threw up every morning. To this day, each pill I take I experience nausea. I hate it. I realize now it's not me and just the pill. I stopped taking it for a month and felt so much better. Also, I have no sex drive anymore so I guess it does it's "job.""

For Birth Control "Been on reclipsen for about a week and a half. My face is breaking out so bad, and I usually have very good skin. I feel swollen all over especially my face and legs, and lately I have been having pounding head ages not to mention the horrible cramps ."

For Birth Control "I was on Reclipsen for a year. I was not happy with my experience. I always had a short fuse and my acne got worse. The only good things were that I had no weight gain and my periods were much lighter and one day shorter than without birth control pills. My obgyn tried me on Zarah and I had an even worse experience, so she switched me back to Safyral."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed this birth control due to my agonizing and crippling cramps caused by my period. It DOES help with my cramps, but I bleed two times a month, which makes me wonder if it's even worth it. This is my first time taking birth control so I did unfortunately end up going to planned parenthood, due to my lack of knowledge when it comes to this sort of thing. I ended up going back to planned parenthood and complaining about my nearly constant period I was experiencing. She dismissed me and told me I was taking it incorrectly. I made sure to take it at the same time every single day for a month, but to no avail. I do have clearer skin and no noticeable weight gain, but I do not regularly check my weight."

For Birth Control "I've been on reclipsen for about a month now. I started taking it to regulate my period and as a form of birth control. Seems to be doing the job, no pregnancy scares so far. I did notice severe mood swings before my period started, but not sure if that was due to things going on in life or the pill. Other than mood swings no negative side effects. Would recomend"

For Birth Control "I decided to take this pill because the last birth control I was on made me bleed 7 days a week every week so i switched to this one and let me tell you one of the worst experiences I've encountered!! As soon as i took my pill the next morning i was throwing up everything that i had ate... The next day i took the pill i was fine all day until morning comes around and AGAIN more throw up... I could handle throwing up but this would hurt my stomach so bad to the point where i was crying... Anyways i have an apt with my doctor this July 8th and I'm switching to something else i know this isn't going to happen to everyone but just in case you were wondering"

For Birth Control "This is my second month using Reclipsen. I had no problems the first month (no weight gain, no headaches, etc.). Now, this month so far I have gained around 2-3 lbs. If I get anywhere close to gaining 10 lbs I am done with this birth control for sure! I just keep trying to weigh my choices. I've been pregnant at least 4 times and I gained about 2-3 lbs. with each pregnancy. So, I think gaining a few pounds on birth control is okay compared to gaining it while being pregnant and having a miscarriage. So, yes, I'm okay with the side effects of Reclipsen so far."

For Birth Control "I would definitely NOT recommend reclipsen. Just two weeks into taking it my chest broke out, and my chin. Also now I’m EXTREMELY greasy for no reason!!!! If you’re looking for a solution for acne this is not it. Also now I have a pimple on my cheek!!!!"

For Birth Control "I switched to Reclipsen from Zovia after 7 years because I was getting outrageous hormonal acne. I was on it for almost 2 months, and my skin cleared right up. I wasn't getting pimples before my period, and I actually liked my skin again, it was amazing! However, I was CONSTANTLY bloated. I had a huge belly and it had nothing to do with the amount I ate, drank, or worked out. I stopped taking Reclipsen because I couldn't handle the bloated belly; Clear skin just wasn't worth it. I'm still looking for that perfect BC pill. Let the search continue...."

For Birth Control "I had been off birth control for about a year when I decided I wanted to go back on it. My doctor recommended Reclipsen; she believe it would clear up the little bit of acne that I had on my cheeks and forehead. I took Reclipsen for 4 months in total and it was a nightmare. The first month my breasts were extremely tender. They were tender to the point that it was painful to sleep in various positions and I could hardly exercise due to the pain. By month 2 I started to feel like my whole body was swollen. My face also looked swollen, and my acne actually became much worse! I lost my sex drive and felt miserable. I stopped taking it because I felt like I was becoming a monster! Lutera was much better for me, so I'm back to that!"

For Birth Control "I have been taking reclipsen for almost a year now and I have barely any cramps except the day before my period starts and the first day. I used to get severe cramps to the point where I was in the hospital so this definitely helped with that. I dont see a change in my mood, weight, or sex drive but I did start to breakout a little on my forehead and chin which I never use to before this pill. Currently in the process of trying to find a different type of birth control to get rid of the forehead acne"

For Birth Control "I started this birth control on the 1st day of my period exactly 2 weeks ago. I started to notice some extreme headaches within the first week that would not go away no matter what I did. I wasn't absolutely sure it was the pill that caused it, I thought maybe it was from oversleeping. However here I am two weeks later bleeding, and having unbearable cramps whereas before I would bleed for 5 days with minor cramps. I just stopped taking it 2 days ago so I'm hoping the side affects go away soon. I know birth control affects everyone differently I just couldn't deal with the headaches. Hoping the Nexaplanon side affects aren't too bad."

For Birth Control "I first started with Reclipsen a year ago for 2-3 months and experienced extreme mood swings. Very emotional and sensitive to everything/anything. I'm not an emotional person. I also did get frequent headaches. I decided to switch to a generic (similar to Reclipsen) which alleviated all side effects. I started taking Reclipsen again this month after my annual check up (my doctor refilled for name brand) I'm on week 2 and I'm having the same side effects. I had a major melt down which made me question what is really going on? I realized it must be the birth control. I'm going back to generic asap. I had no weight gain, cramping nor acne issues while taking Reclipsen only mood swings and headaches."

For Birth Control "Been on it for 2 weeks now. I don't tolerate anything well and the first week I was very nauseous, had a few headaches but nothing I couldn't handle. Now I've noticed that I've gained a pound probably because it seems my boobs exploded. I was already a D and now I'm sure I'm at least a DD. Kill me. Other than that my sex drive is fine, maybe a little lower, but not bad. The one thing that I don't like is I'm super moody and then I get depressed and wanna eat everything. Also, some days I'm so tired and don't wanna do anything."

For Birth Control "Been on this for over a year. I've gained weight get extremely emotional before I start. I am on bc to help regulate my periods. I know when I will start however bleeding is heavy and I spot for three weeks and I get maybe a week off from spotting/bleeding. This is a killer to my sex life! I have contacted my OBGYN to help find me a bc that is no periods to see if that helps!"

For Birth Control "For the 3 years I was on it I had ravenous hunger, low blood sugar crashes, low libido, stress, and anxiety. I had just quit smoking and wasn't used to eating instead of having a cigarette. I started on Ortho Lo. I thought I was just stressed with finishing school but the moodiness didn't stop so after a few months they put me on Reclipsen. The nurse told me it was her favorite one and I wouldn't feel a thing bc it was a monophase and wouldn't make my hormones jump around ...like they are Supposed to naturally a few times per month. Looking back I just wish I had realized it wasn't "Me handling life so weak and vulnerable." It was the pill. Hormones cause feelings. BC pills have FAKE hormones!"

For Birth Control "I was on this pill for about a year. It shortened my periods from seven days to four days. My breasts did not grow, however, I messed up the cycle and cysts formed in both of my breasts, making them tender. I gained ten pounds and then lost about seven. I was constantly hungry! It definitely helped my PMS, but I did experience many mood swings besides that. My skin cleared up a tad bit."
