Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I had no problems with Reclipsen. I've been on 3 different pills and had horrible side effects. I've had none with Reclipsen. It has worked very well for me.
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I was using Reclipsen for 6 months. During the regular checkup at the doctor after those 6 months she noticed my elevated blood pressure of 150/103, which stayed like that while it was monitored everyday for 2 weeks after it was noticed. The doctor told me to discontinue taking the pills. Once I stopped taking the pills, after only one day, the blood pressure dropped to 135/86. I had never had a high blood pressure before taking these pills.
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: This pill caused me to feel like I was PMSing all the time 24-7. Even when things were going great I was depressed ALL THE TIME. I didn't know why but finally figured out it was the medicine after about 2 weeks of taking it the symptoms are just not worth it. Plus it caused my acne to come back and get dry skin, no matter how much lotion I used and what I used.
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: Not very happy with what this is doing to my body. I was prescribed Reclipsen and I'm now in my second month and symptoms have gotten worse. These include: Swollen, tender breasts (which I wouldn't mind except for I have fibrocystic breast making even hugging my husband painful), severe fatigue (I thought it might have been the Texas heat but it's gotten worse even since it has cooled down), SUPER decreased sex drive (I guess that's a good form of birth control), and hard to lose any weight! These symptoms maybe be magnified since I have a preexisting hormonal problem. Hopefully I can get on something else soon!
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been on Reclipsen for almost 3 months and have been a little more emotional and cried a little more but nothing horrible on the emotional side. I just recently experienced breakthrough bleeding out of the blue - basically as much as a pad a day. Today is day 3 of this, not sure why this happens but apparently it's a common side effect (at least for the first 3 months) hopefully it won't continue or else I may have to switch. Otherwise so far so good with this pill.
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: This is the second month I have been on Reclipsen, I had to change from the pill I took before due to breakthrough issues. I have noticed that I have very bad headaches after taking the medication. I had severe migraines last week during my period week, even though my period didn't start until a day after the migraine. I have never had such intense side effects of taking birth control but I don't know why else I would have such headaches. I'm starting to feel like there is no birth control out there for me. I wish there was birth control for men instead!
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I always feel pressure or bloating in my abdomen area but other than that I haven't gotten any acne or change in mood. I find it strange that my muscles aren't or won't get as toned. I still have the same workout routine, but I feel I have to work a bit harder to get back to where I was before the pill.
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have been on Reclipsen for about a year now. I have definitely noticed a decrease in sex drive which has caused some issues. Some emotional ups and downs but I guess that is to be expected. I'm not sure if it is related to the birth control but I have noticed some weight gain which has been hard to control but I have had no breakthrough bleeding and altogether I have been pretty pleased. I can honestly say it has worked well as a birth control for me seeing as I haven't gotten pregnant and I have been on the pill for over a year now.
Reclipsen (desogestrel/ ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have been on Reclipsen for 2 months going on my third pack tomorrow. I do not like this pill, the first month was bad, I had so many bad headaches every week. And the second month around the time I am supposed to have my period was so bad.
