Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I my boobs got huge on this pill but as well as them I also gained a extra weight on my hips. I completely lost my sex drive as well so it is hurting my relationship. As well as it has been making me so moody. I give this drug a 5 because I never got pregnant. However, the side effects were bad.

Kariva (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Polycystic Ovary Syndrome: I have been on it for 3 months now. No breakthrough bleeding at all. Short light period. Have had a few more headaches but nothing Advil won't take care of. Great results with this pill. A lot less moody than with other pills.

Kariva (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I was real depressed/sad/emotional the first two weeks of every month I would take it and I my period was a much heavier flow than usual. And I also think it that you get your period every three weeks with this pill when naturally my body had a longer cycle and I was used to only getting my period every 4 weeks.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have taken Apri since February 2009, and I love it! I think I've gotten slightly moodier, but that is the only negative side effect I've had. My boobs have gotten much bigger, and I haven't seen the decrease in sex drive that many others are seeing. It's pretty much the same for me, and I've been on Apri for about 8 or 9 months. As far as periods go, Apri hasn't changed it very much except for the wonderful gift of knowing when it's coming. I've always had short periods (4 days average), and it hasn't changed. Overall, I love Apri.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I started taking Apri as a replacement for Seasonique. My sex drive is completely gone and my cramps are horrid. I'm not pregnant though, and its really cheap. My period is on time every month and very light but the negatives definitely outweigh the positives. Whats the point of being on birth control if I don't even want sex?

Velivet (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have taken Velivet for almost 2 years. I've been getting menstrual migraines from withdrawal sometimes during my period. Also have low libido which I'm not sure if it's related to this pill.

Desogen (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been using Desogen for one month now and so far it's been great. I haven't had any complications. I'm really satisfied with it.

Mircette (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I went off of the Depo Provera after 6 years and on to Mircette because my husband and I are beginning to plan a family. I am almost finished with my first pack of pills and I have had very little complications, works just as well as the shot did except I take a pill everyday. I set an alarm on my cell phone to remind me so it's easier to remember it, and I take it at night so I don't get busy during the day and forget it. The only side effect I've had is breast tenderness but my body is extremely sensitive to the hormones. I'm even beginning to lose the weight I gained from being on the depo shot (not much, only 15 pounds after 6 years of it)! It's a great birth control but remember, every woman's body is different!

Cyclessa (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: This was the first birth control pill I was given, almost 5 years ago, and I like it. First of all, I haven't gotten pregnant, so it does what it's supposed to do, and it also keeps my periods short, pain free, and extremely on time. Haven't noticed any negative side effects aside from mild breast tenderness on the third week of my cycle.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Abnormal Uterine Bleeding: I have been taking Apri for about 2 years now. At first, it was great. My periods were managable, extremely predictable, and only lasted a few days. I gained about 10 pounds in the first 5 months, and shortly after completely lost my sex drive. Recently my periods have been getting longer, as they used to be, and cramps are coming back as well.

Reclipsen (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I had no problems with Reclipsen. I've been on 3 different pills and had horrible side effects. I've had none with Reclipsen. It has worked very well for me.

Kariva (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I switched to this from Ortho Tri Lo almost a year ago. I have had crazy mood swings. Seriously, I can be the happiest person in the world one minute, the next I can be super angry or super depressed. My flow is real light but breakthrough bleeding in between periods have happened more often.

Mircette (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I did not have any problems with it. I used it for one year and then later for two years straight. It is really good for short-term birth control. It is expensive, though. I could not use the generic Kariva.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been taking Apri for 7 months now and have gained about 8 pounds. I have lost my sex drive, and when my period starts I get horrible cramps. However, I do always know when my period will come and it only lasts for a couple days. This has been the most predictable pill I have taken.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: Apri made me gain weight and lose my sex drive. I was able to take it continuously if I wanted which meant fewer periods. I don't know if that was worth the other side effects though.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: Well I have been on Apri for about a year now and believe me my sex drive is gone and my boyfriend hates it. I am glad
I am not pregnant but it hurts our relationship if you don't want to have sex. But when taking Apri I always know what day my period will come.

Kariva (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have been on this pill for about a year and I have lost 30 pounds. I am a little bit more moody but I think that it is worth it.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: Ive been taking Apri for about 4 months and it has been great. I can predict my periods to the day now and they are only for 3 days and hardly painful.

Kariva (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I started this a few months ago and since then it has fixed my cycle to be every three to four weeks instead of a week and a half and for that I am incredibly thankful. But I have had terrible migraines with blurred vision and it has not lightened or shortened my period, which is why I was prescribed this. Like all medications things work differently for everyone, but this has been my experience so I thought I would share.

Kariva (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: This pill worked fine for birth control, but I felt really down for about 2 weeks before my period. My mood swings were horrible.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've been taking it for a few years, so far it's done what it's supposed to. Only side effect I've experienced is an increase in yeast infections (about one a year) since I started taking it.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I have been taking Apri for at least two years and have never had any problems with it. Some say it lowers sex drive but my sex life has stayed the same. This is the best pill I have taken. I have taken a lot of different kinds and I get serious headaches from taking the others. This is the only pill that I have had no side effects from. I only have my period for 2 days and they are very light. If you are in the market for a great birth control this is it. You will feel like normal and you wont have heavy periods. So take Apri.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I just started taking Apri about two months ago. I love it. My periods used to be unpredictable and heavy. Now they come at the same time every month, and are MUCH lighter. I actually don't mind getting my period anymore.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: My doctor prescribed Apri to me as birth control and to make my periods more regular and less painful. Well, I'm still not pregnant, and my periods are completely predictable and manageable. Before I started this medication my periods were sometimes debilitating. In addition to being less painful, my periods last for fewer days now that I take Apri. There are so many horror stories about birth control pills, but I'm proof that they do work for some people.

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: I've taken about every Pill on the market, and this is by far the best. I've never had a problem with my drive while on this formulation of the Pill. Actually, my drive is more normal than it's been than with the other pills, especially the Ortho line and Seasonale. I have had no side effects other than my appetite has increased, but there is a such thing as self-control, so other than watching what and how often I eat, I love Apri!

Apri (desogestrel/ethinyl estradiol) for Birth Control: My wife has taken Apri since January 2007. We were married on July 28th 2007. It has SERIOUSLY messed up her sex drive. I'm sure happy we aren't pregnant but a pill that keeps someone from wanting sex AT ALL isn't exactly what I was thinking when she got onto Apri.
