"l landed in the ER with a massive chest skin infection received from an infected loop recorder implant. The germ was guessed at, and l was treated for three possible conditions: bacterial, fungal, and viral. (cultural showed nothing!). I was given this to put on a burning, extreme itching, tender, and skin bubbling pain spreading from a small spot near the bottom of my chest to my throat and armpit. Putting this 1% solution on was like throwing gasoline on a fire! Other people report it soothed. Really? The pain was unbelievable, and if l had not been able to wash it off, l would have considered suicide, and l do not say that in jest. We still don’t know what is happening as the typical “ringworm” circles were only partial circles on the periphery of the larger mass. Will see an infectious disease specialist and dermatologist coming up. Various antibiotics have not fully worked…."
