For Acne "For some reason, my acne became uncontrollable after I gave birth to my daughter. I finally went to the dermatologist after quite a few breakdowns. I started Ziana in January 2016. This medicine will take about 3 months of purging your skin before it shows how clear your skin will be. Be patient. Yes, it sucks. But it does work 100%. I have before and after if anyone would like to see or has any questions! "

For Acne "Having endured mild acne for 40 years with no real relief from various recommendations/interventions from dermatologist. I used Ziana for 3 months and have had fabulous results. No side effects, easy to use. It has been a miracle and a dream come true! As an added bonus, the dermatologist has said to continue using Ziana and that it would improve the wrinkles too. Life is good again....acne affects more than your skin, but permeates your self concept, activities you choose to participate in, social life, and the list goes on. To those who worked to develop this product, my deepest gratitude!"

For Acne "When I turned 26 I began getting really bad, cystic acne on my chin/around my mouth. I would "pop" the cysts and cause all kinds of scabs/scars on my chin area. Finally I went to the dermatologist and she prescribed me Ziana. Let me just start of by saying this stuff is nothing short of a miracle. Within 2 weeks my face looks brand new again. I use it everyday. I went a few weeks without using it and the bumps began to come back%u2026 Also, a little bit goes a long way. I put a very thin layer on my face every night. I think some people may be putting too much on their face which is causing their skin to be oily (the Ziana is causing the oil to come out of your skin which is what is causing the acne anyway). For Acne "I started Ziana one month ago. I am 26 and have had severe cystic acne from the age of 16. I haven't worn makeup for the last two weeks because I DO NOT need to hide anything anymore. Wooohooo!! It made my skin red/peel for a week and half but not so much that I needed to hide. I can wear the gel during the day because it doesn't flake or peel like most gels do. My pores are much smaller and I couldn't be happier. I now only need to use it about twice a week. Love this product!"

For Acne "I promised if this ever worked for me I would write a review. I’ve read these reviews over and over again to stop myself from giving up. Now on week 10 and my skin is almost perfectly clear. Do NOT GIVE UP. Weeks 3-6 were the worst for me and I thought it would never work. Slowly, but surely, it does work. Fight through the breakouts and don’t worry. Give it its full 3 months before tossing it. You will not regret. Simplify your skin care routine. I only used face wash and moisturizer in the morning with Ziana (biacna in Canada) at night. This has fixed everything and is clearing up my scars. Good luck"

For Acne "I have been using Ziana for about nine months. I will admit I was extremely frustrated in the beginning because my face was seemed to be worse than it was before. But nine months later, my face is acne free. I will occasionally get a tiny tiny pimple but it will usually go away in a day or two. My confidence is back where it needs to be and all the wait was frustrating, it was worth it."

For Acne "I am a 27 year old female who had moderate cystic acne due to inflammation caused by ulcerative colitis. I saw a dermatologist who prescribed me Bianca, the Canadian version of Ziana and he gave me a ton of samples that I’m still using. That was August 9th, the first 2 months were rough... I wanted to stop using it multiple times because my purging period was so bad but I was so desperate to clear my skin. My face for the first 2 months got a lot worse, it was red, itchy, painful, dry and flaky. I also simplified my skincare routine to just a sensitive cleanser, I used the bioderma sensibio mild foaming gel and la Roche posay moisturizer. My face started to improve 2.5 months into using it and I’m currently 3.5 months into using Bianca and all of my cystic bumps are gone, I’m continuing to use the medication to get rid of the acne scars left behind. I never thought my skin would be this clear again. Yes the purging period was horrible but I’m so glad I didn’t give up on this."

For Acne "I have been on Biacna (Canadian Ziana) for about a month now. For the first couple weeks my skin flared up like crazy and my face was peeling. Now I am finally starting to see my acne, which varied from cysts to moderate, disappear. I am hoping once my face becomes completely clear to see my acne marks fade. IMPORTANT: do not use any astringents or lemon/citrus or benzyl peroxide or tea tree oil while on this because it counteracts the chemicals in Biacna. GOOD LUCK and keep going xx"

For Acne "I wanted to post a review of this product to help others who are struggling with acne and/or first starting this medication. I know when I first started ziana about 2 months ago I was looking through all the message boards I could to find reviews on what the experience was like for people! I am 20 years old and have mild acne and clogged pores. Nothing else I tried would get rid of my pimples. I started ziana and yes, it does get worse before it gets better. I had moderate acne and tons of little tiny zits showing up all over my cheeks. The medication was bringing all my clogged pores and acne to the surface. This lasted about 3-4 weeks until I started noticing a significant change. Now,after only like 2 months, my skin is almost perfect"

For Acne "About 2 months ago my skin started to break out really bad out of no where. I have had breakouts in the past but nothing like this. At first I thought it was an allergic reaction. I work in the operating room and wear surgical masks most of the day. I decided to go to the dermatologist and she prescribed me Ziana. She told me I had adult acne and that it was not an allergic reaction.Within one week my skin was much clearer. It has now been 2 weeks and the results have been great. A small amount on dry skin here and there but that is the only complaint. I am very pleased and hope the great results continue."

For Acne "I have struggled with minor acne all throughout high school. Just as soon as I got the acne off my face, new patches would appear. I tried every OTC medication and cream, with no avail. I even tried proactive, which actually just caused more new acne. When I went off to college, I decided to take action. My dermatologist prescribed me with Ziana, and I have to admit, I was nervous. She told me that it is a very new product, and it may not work. After four nights of treatment, all of the acne and redness of my face was gone. Completely gone! I was, to say the least, excited. I stopped after four days and am still acne free three weeks later!"

For Acne "This medicine is amazing. After suffering from pretty bad acne and trying every topical product out there (benzoyl peroxide, salicylic acid, tea tree oil, sulfur masks, etc.), I had pretty much given up all hope of clear skin. I started Ziana and saw no immediate results, but kept applying every night. A month later, my acne was significantly reduced. Two months later... I only have two small pimples that are in the stage of drying up. I highly recommend Ziana; it seems to be gentle on the skin. Keep with it! The results are amazing. I'm so much more confident. Good luck! P.S. I used in combination with doxycycline, which seems to significantly improve results."

For Acne "Works wonders! Stick with it though. The first time I went on it, my face was pretty clear since I had just come off birth control so I had no "purging" experience. It kept my face completely clear and even cleared up some fine lines! Unfortunately, my insurance stopped covering it for a bit. My skin was ok for the first few weeks off it and then I suddenly had massive cysts. My insurance changed again and they now cover it! Second round: definitely some purging, definitely a lot of flaking, but skin is getting back to where it was. Stick with it. The stuff really works but you have to give it time!"

For Acne "I was experiencing some bad acne for about 2 years before I went and saw a dermatologist about it. She prescribed me ziana. My main acne was on my cheeks which also lead to brown spots. The first month on this medicine was the worst, you will want to give up, but DONT! It made my skin super sensitive; it made you want to cry but it hurt for tears to even touch your face. No makeup looked good bc of how dry it got. About 2-3 months I started seeing some results. About 5 - 6 months in and I had no blemishes left and the brown spots have faded significantly. There's still some there but I was told those will take the longest to go away. I wish I knew how to share a picture of the difference."

For Acne "I absolutely love this medication. I was a little unsure since everything I used in the past didn't work. Went to a well known dermatolgist and I must say my skin looks so good it's really hard to grasp I had a glycolic acid peel on my first visit and started using the medication every night. I did develop a few more pimples while using but I stayed with it washing my face with Cerave hydrating cleanser morning and night like I was instructed and applying sun screen when I am outside. Today I had my second glycolic peel when the doctor saw me he was pleased with my results. It has only been 5 weeks and the good thing is, he said if I think my skin looks good now wait another 2 months. It's really amazing I went out of the house for the first time with no make up....yay! It really works."

For Acne "I have been using Ziana for almost a year now. I had the deep cystic acne that was painful and huge. After a couple of weeks using Ziana my face cleared up and in almost a year I have not had one pimple. I experienced no side effects and have been using it once every other day for a couple months now (because it's not cheap). My doctor also prescribed me a sulfur face wash which I use every day at night. Ziana is like a miracle to me."

For Acne "I've been using ziana for about 7-8 months everyday before I go to sleep as is instructed and have not seen any real progress that should be seen in that long of a time. Also I find my face becomes extremely oily during the day when using it"

For Acne "I am a teenager who experienced some mild/bad acne. I was prescribed Ziana Gel in Decemeber and I was very nervous to try this product. For about the first three weeks my acne was getting worse, as my dermatologist had predicted. After those first few weeks, my face started getting way better. By February, my face was clear with the occasional breakout, which was gone by the morning after putting medicine on it at night. At the beginning my face was oily but it got better after a few weeks. Honestly this medicine has changed my life! My one recommendation is to give it time, if you want your acne gone for good I would definitely recommend this product. If you use the tube sparingly it will last you about 6 months."

For Acne "I keep seeing people say that this leaves more breakouts and they give up. There is a reason the doctors tell you to keep at it! I have been on this product for several years now. When I first started my skin was worse and I had horrible peeling and redness and itchiness. As with most things, it gets worse before it gets better. And believe me, it got better! Not only has it taken care of my acne it has also removed several fine lines and wrinkles. The trick to this is to just hang in there! You sunblock and pamper your face in the beginning. If you stick with it like the doctors suggest, you will see improvement. The key is just trusting the doctors and using the product as directed. It takes time to work. I saw no improvement for a couple months and then almost overnight my face was clear. I am now such a believer in this that I don't want to use anything else! There seems to be A shortage of this right now and I'm really hoping that it is only temporary. I think this stuff is amazing and will most definitely continue use a soon as it becomes available again. This is the only thing that I have found that works for me."

For Acne "I have only been on this for about a month. Since the first day I have started using it I have not seen one more pimple on my face. It is amazing! Wish I would have gone to my dermatologist sooner... I did not experience any redness nor did it get worse before it got better. It is helping clear my existing acne marks also. I didn't have very bad acne to begin with but at one point I would get multiple pimples all at once on my cheeks. It was enough to make me self conscience. My skin has however been quite oily but it's worth it in my opinion. I'm hoping as more time goes my skin will adjust. I suggest everyone give this a try."

For Acne "I have nodule like hormonal acne only on my chin that started when I was around 21. I've tried a lot of medications and it seemed a short course of antibiotics or birth control were the only things that seemed to help. In October 2014 it got very inflamed and painful so I saw a dermatologist. She put me on Solodyn (antibiotic) for 3 months only and then Ziana gel. I will be honest, Ziana definitely makes your skin worse before it starts to make it better. The drying I experienced was minimal but it truly made my skin 'purge' like I had read it would. It got so bad and red that I wanted to cry and curse Ziana, however, after about 2.5 months it started to get better with no more breakouts. Just be patient!!"

For Acne "HOPE THIS HELPS After years of jawline and chin acne, some cystic, I saw a dermatoglist, who put me on Ziana Gel - Clindamycin (1.2%) and Tretinoin (.025%). The dermatologist also recommend I use cetaphil products, which I eventually found best was the lightweight lotion and gentle cleansing bar. I wash my face at night with the soap, mostly dry my face (leaving face damp), then apply the ziana, and the apply the lotion. This way, the products absorb better, and also felt good. It got worse before it got better (about 4 months) but today my skin is beautiful and radiant, exactly how I feel! It does make your skin slightly oily (bringing bacteria to surface), however I still rate it a 10 because of the results. Ziana is seriously a MIRACLE!"

For Acne "When my dermatologist first prescribed Ziana, it worked pretty well. I put in on at night along with taking Solodyn, an oral antibiotic, once a day. I saw improvement in my acne for about 1-2 months, but I think it's starting to wear off a little bit. But over all it worked pretty well."

For Acne "great product! Before trying this I used so many over the counter products, but this left me super clear, I had moderate to severe acne, today I get compliments on my skin almost daily! Try it and it may cause more breakouts in the beginning but its definitely worth the wait. I never write reviews but if this can inspire someone to continue finding a solution to their acne It would leave me feeling more than great. I used to cry daily about it and understand how self torturing it can be. Besides using this product, I also wanted to say I do not eat red meat and try to stay on a strict diet, with no dairy, and gluten free foods. I do eat chicken, fish, etc. I believe this has also impacted my skin greatly. There's hope trust me I know it's annoying but with persistence anything is possible!"

For Acne "I’m 28 and have been struggling with acne since I was 11. I’ve kept having issues with acne along my jawline, temples, and even on my chest. I was prescribed Ziana (I’m in Canada so it’s called Biacna here), I was scared to use it at first for fear of the “purge”. I tried it on my chest only to see how it would go. While it’s drying things out, my skin felt like I had coffee grinds on it from healing lesions. Then they would exfoliate away after a few days! When I saw it working, I put it on my face as well but only on my problem areas. It works a little slower than on the chest but my skin is already so much better and I’m only a month in! The purge lasted for only 2 weeks.. Word of caution, the photosensitivity is real! I was out for groceries for a few hours and only moved out of my car and into the stores...and my chest was sunburnt for 4 days! a high SPF sunscreen is a must. I’m very very happy with this product and an acne free life seems actually possible now!!!!"
