chlorothiazide for Edema: I was given this medicine for fibrocystic breast disease. I am very pleased with the results. No more painful, swollen breasts. I have to drink orange juice for potassuim. I have taken this for over 20 years. Started out at 500mg every day then every other day and it over time got reduced down to taking 250mg every other day about 10 days before my period started. Great preventative for breast tissue damage that could lead to cancer. Thank you to the doctor for great preventative care.
