Soma Compound (aspirin / carisoprodol) "I don’t know why they discontinued Soma. It helped me long time ago when I couldn’t stand straight. Or lay down. These other rubbish relaxants suck. I’m in so much pain and stiff they won’t prescribe it Ik it helped years ago."

"I had low back pain and this was the first line of defence my doctor used. I was unable to work when I took the medication as prescribed. (3 X daily) This is a very strong RX even stronger than Hydrocodone 10mg X 3 times daily, is which you also can’t use while working much less drive home.)"

Carisoprodol Compound (aspirin / carisoprodol) "Soma is very effective as a muscle relaxant and I sleep much better when I take it. No nightmares, just better sleep. Helps muscle pain and tension. (I have Fibromyalgia) I also have taken it for acute back and neck pain and it is quite wonderful. The only downside is I swear I am starving when I'm taking Soma like I never feel full, I'm sure I would gain weight if I took it long term. It also can be difficult to stop taking it if you've taken it for a month or more, the body builds up a dependency. Short term for me though it is a wonderful medication,"

Carisoprodol Compound (aspirin / carisoprodol) "I took this drug, as per Dr instruction, off and on for a ten year period. Please be aware, it's a good drug, but NOT in combination with: other diazapams, extra strength (7.5 ) Vicodin, PercoDAN, etc. It's considered a "triple threat, " being found by the DEA to be a pathway to habituation and addiction. Suicides were above average for people taking these in combination. Just saying, it's excellent on its own. I disagree with the DEA. Short-term use of this combination was extremely beneficial for me and I have, as well as, many friends and family, not found to be the case."

Soma Compound (aspirin / carisoprodol) "Works great, however, high abuse potential. Very difficult to get doctors to prescribe it anymore. Almost impossible, actually. I finally found an online doctor that would write it, and I get tremendous relief from it. Unfortunately, because of its abuse potential, I expect it to be eventually taken off the market."

Soma Compound (aspirin / carisoprodol) "I cracked 3 spinous processes of my cervical spine, treatment for my injury was pain management for muscular neck pain. I was pleased with Soma. I was relieved of pain, & as a bonus, felt tipsy. I soon noticed problems with my nerves that uncontrollably affected my speech. I was uncomfortable with this and I stopped taking them. I then learned that Soma works exclusively via the central nervous system and anything that effects the CNS (all things brain and nerves), such as the chronic, long-time use of Soma, WILL, in the best case of scenarios, may cause PERMANENT DAMAGE! Understand that although it is not a controlled substance, the propensity for abuse is high. The effects are intoxicating, yet cannot be detected through urinalysis. My advice is to know yourself and understand your pain, educate yourself on how a medication works and be conscious of their effects. Soma is great for emergencies but seek other options If you need to take something for any length of time."
