I HAD PANIC ATTACKS MOST MY LIFE AND HAVE NOT HAD ONE IN YEARS SINCE I'VE BEEN TAKING XANAX. I TAKE 0.25MG A FEW TIMES A WEEK. I FOUND IF I NEED TO TAKE IT DAILY OR MORE OFTEN IT DOESN'T WORK AS WELL BUT JUST KNOWING IT'S THERE AND IT WORKS GIVES ME GREAT PEACE OF MIND. I THINK XANAX IS A LIFESAVER.

alprazolam for Panic Disorder: Xanax saved my life. After being in a tornado, I started suffering from severe panic attacks and post traumatic stress syndrome. Anything that even just remotely reminded me of my ordeal would set off a terrible panic attack. The Xanax stopped this very well. It also helps my anxiety disorder. It is a true miracle drug. No side effects and it helps me so much.

Changed my life. Taken at the first sign of anxiety my symptoms will disappear within minutes or taken before known anxiety triggering situations, prevents symptoms completely.

alprazolam for Anxiety: I have generalized anxiety. Was on Klonopin for years mostly for sleep, but now I realize I have anxiety. I wanted so much off of benzo's, and finally after horrid withdrawal even tapering, got off Klonopin. Issues arose, heart palpitations, sweating, dry mouth, hair loss, everyone said back on Klonopin. I refused. Now my blood pressure also elevated.I am now taking xanax extended release and my blood pressure is normal, mouth not dry, no more sweating, palpitations.I feel normal again.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: 2mg of xanax works perfectly for my panic attack when i feel one coming on i take one 2mg pill and it takes it away and i am no longer being run by my panic attack.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Depression: I've been on medication for hepatitis C for 48 weeks. I couldn't have made it without this drug. With the drug therapy I was on, I had thoughts of killing myself, long bouts of depression, endless sleepless nights, nightsweats, violent behavior, an all round terrible person to be around. Xanax saved my life and my marriage. Xanax helped me calm all of my side effects.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: I used to get very aggravated over what normal people handle. I would go off. Have panic attacks and not know how to deal. Plus, I have tremors in my hands, mostly my right. Once I started taking Xanax the tremors stopped, I could deal calmly with my children when they got out of control. It helps me concentrate easier during the day & sleep well @ nite. It can have side affects though if you don't take it properly! Take it as prescribed and don't make yourself go through the withdrawals.

I take Xanax XR 3mg and it has worked better than any thing else I've tried. The good thing is I only need one a day. I have been on many benzodiazepines and anti-deppersents. Xanax XR has worked the best. Initially ( for 1 to 2 weeks)it made me feel "drunk" but I am used to it now and have no side effects.

I`ve had Ulcerative Colitis (U.C) since I was 17. At the age of 25 I thought I was having a heart attack and went to the emergency room. I was diagnosed with a panic attack ,they gave me a XANAX (1mg). No more heart attack. Told my doctor the story and with my history of U.C he prescribed 2mg a day. I'm now 37 years young and XANAX freed the tyranny of two debilitating conditions.

alprazolam for Anxiety: This drug saved my life. I have suffered from Anxiety and Depression for almost 10 years, could not find a better dose to easy my anxiety, the worst instant was that I could not sleep continually for more than 4 weeks, I was close to a nervous breakdown situation until I found my GP to bring me this medicine. Amazing result, now after taking for 6 months, I can sleep 4-5 days a week, though still need time to fully recover. Recommend to all who suffer from depression and can not calm yourself down.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: This drug has changed my life. I have always had an anxiety problem since I was a child. Didn't have a good childhood, got picked on because I was fat, etc. My parents always faught and everything would just worry me. Some nights I couldn't sleep. I've been suffering from anxiety and panic attacks for so long. I feel like people are talking bad about me. I used to get paranoid and get really anxious in public and had social pobia. I can cope with everything now.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: I have agraphobia (social disorder) I was confinde to my home to scared to get in a situation I couldnt get out of. My fiance was always trying to get me out of the house. He just didnt understand. I started xanax and it saved my life Now im in college and Im not scared to go out. I take the blue one twice a day.

alprazolam for Panic Disorder: i had real bad panic attacks so bad i thought i was going crazy...my doctor put me on zanax and i feel so much better ..i was afraid to leave my house .afraid to shop i would start to shop all of a sudden i had to run out the store.so much more things were happening..but thanks to zanax i am calm cool and collective...oh and sooooo happy

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: I have taken Xanax for over ten years. I used to have full blown panic attacks. I take Xanax when I feel one coming on and it disappears quickly. I could not live or cope without them. They are a lifesaver. I take 1mg tablets three times a day.

Niravam (alprazolam) for Anxiety: I have been taking Niravam for over 2 years now. This is by far the most efective treatment for anxiety/ panic attacks that I have tried. However, I am also on Lexapro, Effexor, and Cymbalta which also help combat anxiety by adjusting neurotransmiters in order to decrease the frequency of attacks. Deffinately a great med for those who truly need it!

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: I find that xanax .5mg works good for panic attacks, but tends to make me very sleepy. My doctor switched me to Clonazepam .5 mg and after 2 days I feel really good and it doesn't make me sleepy at all. It takes a couple minutes longer then xanax to work, but that outweighs the side effects of the xanax. I have servere panic attacts, but not anymore. It got so bad that I could watch tv and if someone was standing on a bridge or anything up high I would flip out. Not no more with Clonazepam. 10+

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: Xanax saved me during my separation/divorce. We have one child and the realization that I would only see her on weekends destroyed me. I would have panic attacks and anxiety so bad I could not function in life. I lost weight, had nausea, could not sleep or eat and wanted to die. I was prescribed Xanax 0.25mg (the lowest dosage). I take half in the morning and half in the afternoon. Xanax has saved my life, I feel normal, can work, focus, and enjoy the time I do have with my daughter. It works!!

Xanax (alprazolam) : Best medication out there for stopping a panic attack in progress by far. Xanax will probably put you to sleep. 10 rating is for its ability to stop an attack.

Xanax XR (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: This medication is amazing, mostly because it starts working immediately and you don't have to wait a few weeks like with other medicines. My doctor had me taking it regularly for two months until my lexapro and seroquel kicked in, and then weaned me off of it. I now take it only every once in a while.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: Efficacy never in doubt with this fast acting benzodiazapine. Alprazolam works on the neuro-transmitter GABA to induce calming effects. It is useful to many patients who try it and is preferred over similar medications because of its relative safety. Regardless of how it is used, it is very potent and may be habit forming. A typical dose for a recreational user or someone addicted to this drug may be many times what would be considered safe. If taking Xanax more than 4 mg per day then slowly taper.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: Xanax has helped me so much with handling all of lifes problems and with helping me with my children! I have two boys that mean the world to me. I lost my job after 18 years and everything got on my nerves. I went to my doctor and told him I was trying to sleep alot cause I could not handle lossing my job and worrying about how I was gonna pay my bills if I couldnt draw my employment. I would know that in 6 days,so I went on Xanax and it changed my life! I NOW KNOW I'LL MAKE IT NO MATTER WHAT - JUST TRY IT!

alprazolam for Tinnitus: I've used this drug for 14 years. I developed severe tinnitus. The drug (per research at Oregon Health & Sciences Univ Tinnitus Clinic) seems to reduce the loudness I experience and was given me originally to reduce anxiety about head noise enough to let me sleep. I began taking 1 .25 mg tab per night. 14 years later I take 3 .25 per night to sleep. I take "drug holidays" every 3 monhs for a week. Side effects do occur if you do not progressively reduce dose as you go I've had no side effec

alprazolam for Panic Disorder: I have bad anxiety sometimes, occasional panic attacks. but when I have panic attacks, I have BAD panic attacks. They help when I take one .25mg pill, sometimes if its really bad I have to take two.

alprazolam for Depression: I've never really considered this drug an anti-depressant and honestly did not think it was prescribed for such. I have bipolar II disorder which means that I'm a rapid cycling manic-depressant (the non-politically correct term) but mainly have chronic depression. I take this for PTSD, panic/anxiety attack, social anxiety disorder, and overall stress and anxiety. It works well for all of the above.

alprazolam for Anxiety: This drug works well for anxiety and anxiety attacks. Sometimes it doesn't work quickly enough for me, but there really isn't a more fast acting drug in pill form that I'm aware of.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: Completely helps with panic disorder, PTSD, and GAD. I have all three and Xanax provides immediate results to help calm me down. This is the only medication that works for my condition and recommend this to those who need help fast.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: Xanax has helped me tremendously, I was having severe anxiety attacks real bad! My doctor at the time worked next door with in the same buliding/office, and he had witnessed my attacks and finally prescribed me just 1 mg Xanax, and he told me to take 1 half in the morning and 1 half at evening. It took a while but finally I was attack free. I feel like I can live my life now!

Xanax (alprazolam) for Depression: I have extreme depression and Anexity- sometimes panic attacks. I have this horrible habit of pulling out my hair- on my head,eyelashes, and other areas excessively. Xanax and Lexapro have made me feel normal- for the first time in years I actually have eyelashes growing in. I don't care what people say about the negative effects of xanax- I persoanlly know I needed it. I feel like the nightmare of my mind has been treated.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Panic Disorder: it works in association with my anti-depressant to bring about a well rounded me, but it is there to take when my panic attacks hit, it quickly takes effect and calms me.

Xanax (alprazolam) for Anxiety: Xanax have helped me to calm down. I was really under stress (full time job, college every day, a small baby) but did not realize that at the time. I had some visual disturbances, especially when, finally, I could relax. I have experienced chest pains as well. My GP told me it is caused by stress and prescribed Xanax. I had to take the smallest dose at night (I was driving). I could see the difference after a month and I continued for one more month. I did not suffer any side effects.
