Uroxatral was about as effective for me as Flomax with fewer side effects. It makes me very tired, and lightheaded sometimes, but with non of the stuffiness that I had with Flomax which was a big plus. I'm not rating it higher because it didn't do much for my BPH pain although urinary flow was much improved. Herbal supplements of quercetin, and beta sitosteral still work the best for me.

It took a few days for me to feel any noticable difference. Once it worked its way into the system, it acted as described and provided relief with almost no side affects. The one thing I can not stress more is to make sure it is taken consistently (same time every day) for maximum effect and relief.

Although I experienced immediate relief (able to urinate freely), I have experienced low stomach pain almost constantly. I also tire much easier since starting Uroxatral.

This made me tired and lethargic. I became so tired I didn%u2019t even want to have sex. Not to popular with the wife. My symptoms of having to urinate all the time did not go away. I work for a living and being tired all day does not cut it.

I have now used Uroxatral six months. At first, when taking Uroxatral, I would easily tire and experienced stomach pain much of the day. Now, it seems my body has adjusted to the medicine and I am not as likely to become tired. I still have stomach discomfort but not as severe. One thing I have noticed which concerns me is the fact the Uroxatral seems to wear off easily and the frequency to use the bathroom has not really disappeared. Overall, the drug seems to work well.

It works well if you can stand the side effects; weakness in limbs, dry mouth/throat, constant sore throat that feels like strep and constant thirst. I had to quit and return to Flomax as it just makes me dizzy.

Uroxatral seems to work very well. Erections are sometimes difficult but a small dose of Viagra seems to take care of that problem, when it becomes a problem.
Started on Uroxatral as a replacement for generic Flomax. Pain while urinating, urgency and frequency of urination all increased, along with a lot of difficulty getting started and trying to keep going. On top of that, I experienced rather bad constipation, to boot. All of the above cleared up after going back to terazosin.
