Does this drug help with PTSD, depression and "spinning mind?" I also suffer from panic, and debilitating anxiety. I'm lonely but afraid to be around people.
Wellbutrin - I have PTSD and good reasons for it but who cares about reasons. I just want to feel?

I believe this is the drug of choice for ptsd. This drug contains dopamine which is considered the feel good chemical we produce.

I don't understand what you mean. What Points? What in the world are points for? I also don't understand many acronyms (any, actually) I just want a response to my qu. from ppl who are on Wellbutrin. I took my first dose yesterday for PTSD, depression, anxiety. Ugh. Already I have large black floater complicating my already bad vision. Things don't smell right and my ears are ringing. Does anybody know anything?

I can't seem to post my way around this site. I was responding to something else, I guess. I'm having a great deal of trouble. Can't SSRIs of any kind. Took my first dose of Wellbutrin yesterday and already am having bad affects. Large black floaters, food smells wrong, ears are ringing. I think I should stop.

I doubt the floater is because of the Wellbutrin. Not sure what dose the doctor started you on, but the side effects you are describing aren't likely to be caused by one dose of Wellbutrin. Sounds more like the anxiety and panic attacks could be the cause of your ringing in ears and off sense of taste. None the less, if they are related to the Wellbutrin they should subside in time. If not, contact the prescribing doctor before stopping the medication.

Thanks. The floaters are intense and I looked at Wellbutin and floaters on line and a lot of folks were complaining of them. I do agree that less tan 24 hours is a bit quick. I need emotional relief badly. I want this drug to work. Only 150mgs

Yes, Wellbutrin is a good choice for depression and anxiety. It will take upwards of a month to reach max effectiveness. Unfortunately, choosing the right medication for your symptoms is a trial and error ordeal. One size does not fit all. But rest assured if the Wellbutrin does do the trick, there are many other meds to choose from. Give it time and stay in touch with your doctor for check ups.
