Treatment of Impotence
PDE5 drugs are effective, but in some men they may cause bothersome side effects. Common side effects include
lightheadedness or dizziness
changes in vision (these drugs may cause everything to look blue)
chest tightness or constriction.
If you have one or more of these side effects with one of the PDE5 drugs, you may want to try one of the other drugs in this family. However, some men will experience the same side effects with each of the PDE5 drugs.
These side effects are not necessarily dangerous, and some men choose to continue using a PDE5 drugs despite the unpleasant side effects. However, be sure to discuss any side effects with your health care provider.
If you find the side effects of a PDE5 drug to be very bothersome, you may wish to try an alternative treatment for impotence.
