Shortness of Breath In Pregnancy

Anxiety, depression, and stress can all cause shortness of breath. You might notice that you are sighing frequently or you are just more aware of your breathing.

The hormonal changes of pregnancy coupled with the looming changes to one's life can contribute to anxiety and potentially worsen symptoms of depression.

Contact your doctor, nurse, or midwife if this persists over the next week or two. Call sooner if the symptoms get worse.
