Leg Swelling (Edema) during Pregnancy

Certain types of liver and kidney problems can cause swelling of the feet, ankles, and legs. People with liver problems, such as cirrhosis, will almost always have a swollen belly. People with a type of kidney disease called nephrotic syndrome often notice that they have a lot of swelling around the eyes when they wake up in the morning.

Choose the description that applies to you:

My belly is swollen.

My eyes are puffy in the morning.

I only have leg swelling.
