Insomnia During Pregnancy

Many women have fewer problems sleeping during the middle months of pregnancy than during the first three months or last three months.

 

However, you might still have problems sleeping related to hormonal changes in your fourth month. And if you are into your fifth or sixth month, finding a comfortable position in bed and changing positions during the night might be difficult.

 

Try sleeping on your side instead of on your back. Use lots of pillows to keep you in position and to cushion any pressure points.
