    • 0.9% Sodium Chloride, Hikma, 2 mL vial, 25 count, NDC 00641-0497-25 - discontinued
Reason for the Shortage
    • In August 2021, Cardinal recalled three Monoject saline flush prefilled syringe products because the plunger may pull air into the syringe after the air has been expelled. Cardinal has made a business decision to no longer manufacture Monoject saline flush prefilled syringes.     • BD has Normal Saline Flush syringes (BD Posiflush) available.
