Reason for the Shortage

  • Lundbeck has discontinued Mebaral tablets in all sizes and strengths as a business decision.
  • There are no other manufacturers of mephobarbital tablets.

Estimated Resupply Dates

Lundbeck has discontinued Mebaral tablets. Supply should be depleted sometime in late-2011.

Implications for Patient Care
