Administration advice:

• Do not administer IV.
• The deltoid is typically used for adults, and the deltoid or anterolateral thigh for children.
• Do not administer in the gluteal area or where there may be a nerve trunk.
• Administer at least 2 weeks prior to expected exposure.
• Record the date, lot number, and manufacturer of the vaccine administered.

Storage requirements:

• Refrigerate; do not freeze.

• Avoid contact with, or ingestion of, contaminated food and water.
