"I’m sure this is great for constipation, but I was not constipated and told to use for bowel prep before an examination - was fine and easy to initially evacuate and then had no issues. But about 4 hours later I’ve started experiencing unexpected stomach cramps and diarrhea. Not sure why the effects are lingering for me."

"I had a painful insertion. I think I might have hemorrhoids. It appeared to do little. I had applied about 1/4 of container and had voided bowels just a few hours earlier. Impossible for one person home alone to use effectively. Designers must know this."

"Just used this product for first time in preparation for hemorrhoid removal surgery in the morning. It kicked in within 3-4 minutes. Seems to have cleared things for now. I get to do it again in the morning, oh joy. "

"I have IBS C&D so I’m use to stomach aches. I usually use magnesium citrate once amonth just to get my gut in order, especially since I started keto. All the fat & protein can do a number on the belly. I will say, at first (maybe for 3 mins ) it kinda burned but within 2 mins I started having bowel movements. I was done within 30 mins and now I just feel a little sore in my anal muscles lol. But good! Mag cit. leaves you with 5-6 hrs of waiting than 1-4hrs of diarrhea So this was nice to be in an out within 1hr 10/10"

"Terrible product. Not the first time I have used for bowel prep for sigmoidoscopy and both times it has caused severe cramps, chills, headache and rectal bleeding. I am guessing if used for constipation perhaps not absorbing as much of the medication to get the severe cramps."

"Used Fleet for bowel prep before a sigmoidoscopy. It was extremely painful, made me sick to my stomach for hours, the chills and shakes, increased heart rate, cramping even after I emptied my bowels. "

"Used before surgery day. I passed out. I don't know why. The surgery is today. Wondering if I should let the surgeon know. Afraid of rescheduling procedure."

"I had a horrific reaction to this Fleet Enema when I had to use for a bowel prep. I have internal hemorrhoids and did not know it until after my scope, but my insertion was horrible. It got 10 times worse when I applied the fluid. It was so bad I was could only use 1/2 the bottle because of the pain. I had to go to the bathroom immediately where most the water came strait out, I did go to the bathroom as well. But I had so much rectal swelling, seriously it had me in tears. I would prefer magnesium citrate any day then to have to go back through that. I also still have rectal pain from the trauma and it’s been almost a month now. Please be careful!"
