Nplate (romiplostim) for Immune Thrombocytopenia "I've been on Nplate for more than a year now. Rituximab worked once for 16 months, Promacta did nothing for me. Nplate is working for more than a year now with little to no side effects. Sometimes, a very slight headache the day of the injection."

Nplate (romiplostim) for Immune Thrombocytopenia "I've taken Nplate, 350 micrograms for over a year. It keeps my platelets between 11 and 19. Once it reached 24. Once. IVIG and Rituxin did not work for me. Tavalisse has scary side effects and my hematologist at Stanford does not recommend it. Steroids made me crazy and since my partner is on steroids, we can't both be on them together."

For Immune Thrombocytopenia "It's about time that a medicine came out for the treatment of ITP. My mom's waited for over 17 years for a treatment for her ITP. And this medicine looks very promising to help those like my mom who has ITP! I hope that more new medicines for ITP come out soon and hopefully cure IPT once and for all."
