"Prednisolone is a synthetic glucocorticosteroid that is widely used in medical practice to treat various inflammatory conditions. It belongs to the group of steroidal drugs that have anti-inflammatory, anti-allergic, and immunosuppressive properties. Prednisolone can be prescribed to treat various conditions such as asthma, rheumatoid arthritis, allergic reactions, skin diseases, and other conditions associated with inflammation. Like any medical drug, prednisolone should be used only when prescribed by a doctor. Self-medication can lead to undesirable side effects. In addition, long-term use may require a gradual reduction in dosage upon discontinuation to avoid possible complications. It is important to discuss all aspects of treatment, including dosage, duration of use, and possible side effects, with your doctor before starting prednisolone or any other medicine."
