For Vaginal Yeast Infection "HOW IS THIS ALLOWED TO BE SOLD?!?! I wishI had looked up reviews on the Monistat 3 tubes. Within 30 seconds of inserting the first tube I was experiencing painful burning and itching in my vagina. And I put that sucker up there. I had to run to my bathroom, put on the shower and try and wash it out of me. That wasn't good enough, so I then had to run a bath and sit in that. I'm trying to make this sound as comical as possible, but I have never experienced anything like this in my 35 years. How has this not been pulled off of shelves? I won't even buy other Monistat products I am so annoyed. If I knew all of this was going to happen I would've asked to be taken out to dinner first at least. Shame on you Monistat. Never again."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Wow. What is this stuff. I have used Monistat before in the past and it has never gave me this side effect. I took it around 1:00, it is currently 1:25 and I am IN SO MUCH PAIN. It feels like I have hot sauce, boiling water, and a jalepeño stuck in my lady parts. I wouldn’t wish this on my worst enemy. As I am pregnant I can’t take the pill so I resorted to this... I do not recommend this, whatever you do... please don’t take this. I much rather deal with my yeast infection than to deal with the side effects of Monistat."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I see so many comments about the burning, I guess I have a high pain tolerance or maybe my yeast infection just wasn’t as bad. I did feel burning and itching but after about an hour it started to settle, it really wasn’t that bad I feel some people must have got a worse reaction than mine. I woke up this morning and my yeast infection feels much better. I recommend this cream."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "When I read the reviews I was petrified of using the product because so many people said it burned horribly. I even put off starting it a couple more days, however when I did take it I had no burning just slight internal itching. The itching can be helped by taking ibuprofen an hour or so before taking the product. The next morning I woke up I had no symptoms! I continued taking the medicine and had no itching or burning the next two nights. It does leak throughout the day following when you took it but using a pad helps a lot."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "How has this not been recalled? The worst experience ever. I have used similar products in the past with no problems. This caused extreme burning and pain within minutes and did not improve until evening the next day. Just in time for day two dose. It was worse than day before. I am afraid to try a day dose 3. No way this is minor irritation. DO NOT USE THIS!!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I was literally terrified to insert this on day one because of reviews saying that the pain was excruciating. Just wondering if you guys had a severe infection and irritation down there or something when you used it cause I felt 0 pain or discomfort at all. And I had really worked myself up before inserting it cause I was so scared about the possible pain. Monistat 3 worked wonderfully for me. Hope this helped."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "This is a horrible product. A few minutes after inserting my itching became much worse than the itching from the YI. My vagina is burning right now, it's so bad I'm crying and considering trying to wash it out."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The pain of this medication is worser than the yeast infection Day one was horrible lol the burning lasted me 2 hours however I woke up feeling a lil better Day 2 wasn't as bad as day 1 the pain lasted one hour or so. I woke up feeling much better and it feels like the yeast infection is gone. I assume the burning is what kills the infection Today is gonna be day 3 and if I'm good by tomorrow than I must say the pain was worth it !!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I wish I had found these ratings before I tried it. It was doctor recommended but I have never felt burning this bad. I washed it out within 2 minuted but 3 hours later and I can still feel it. There is no warning to do a test patch or anything. This is the most awful torturous thing that I have ever experienced"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "It’s currently 10:54pm and I have been in agony since around 10 when I inserted this fireball into my vagina. If mystery had an embodiment it would be this. I am on fire. I am itching. I get chronic YI so treatment is NOT new to me and I’ve never experienced this pain ever. I have to pee and I’m afraid to get up. I’m afraid I’ll disturb the rest of the medicine if I do. I can’t pee, fart, sit up, lay down, nothing without reigniting the agony. This is miserable. Please, save yourself. It burns so bad that laying in bed my body is literally twitching involuntarily."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "The cream based Monistat 3 product kept me up every night feeling like I was on fire. By the 2nd night I felt as though my vagina was chemically burned. The third night was just reliving it over and over. You can't sleep at night from the burning and itching until you pass out from pure exhaustion only to be woken up two hours later where starts all over again. Last night was my third night and I couldn't take it anymore. At 4 AM I went to the bathroom and jumped in the shower to try to get out as much of that stuff as I could and then I laid in bed, with ice, until I was numb enough to fall asleep. The YI is gone but I feel burned and awful. I've taken Monistat 3 before with a FAR worse YI and it wasn't like this. THIS NEEDS TO BE RECALLED."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m on night one and was preparing myself for the worst based on reviews (but I know that actually means it's working and would rather tough this out than have to go to the doctor and pay a copay and wait for an oral prescription to kick in). Definitely unpleasant and worse than the actual YI when it kicks in (first-timer here). But just shove an ice pack up there and spend time focusing on reading all these hilarious descriptions of others' experiences and know you are not alone in the struggle of being a woman with a YI."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "So about 20 minutes into my first dose, there is some burning/itch that was worse then got better, it’s about at the level it was before I used it at this point, so I’m hoping that based on the positive reviews, it will work for me and hopefully I will feel much better tomorrow. I'll try to update tomorrow (2/18)."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "DON'T USE MONISTAT 3! But if you were like me, you are reading this because you are having an insane itch and/or burning in your vagina after using! Ask yourself...can ya tolerate this misery you're in right now ALL night (or at least until you pass out)? If not, run to your bathroom now. Get out as much out as you can. I tried my hardest to pee what I could out and then got in the shower. I probably would have taken a bath though if I had a tub. Not itching half as bad as it was but I literally didn't wait long after using and the crazy itch started. And then reading everyone else's comments. Will never take again!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Didn't take the medicine for 2 or 3 days after reading the reviews kept putting it off. Did it last night woke up the itching went down at least 90% swelling is down 50%. I was scared of the intense itching and burning people said they got from taking this I counted down the first hour waited nothing ever burned or intensified. I found laying down irritated me more so I sat up in my bed it help keep the medicine in too. Seems when the cream touches your vulva that's when it becomes irritated the most. If it came out I wiped it off. Quickly found that religiously applying organic refined coconut oil eased the itch from the very beginning. Seems to be very effective after one day. Some people put coconut oil on a tampon I just applied inside n out. Also I used a tiny bit of hydrocortisone. I didn't have itch relief cream with my Monistat 3 so the next day I tried Vagisil medicated anti-itch wipes and those burned worse for me."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection ". There was no itching, burning, but a lot of orderless discharge. I needed to act fast due to the fact that I am an active human being. I decided to purchase Monistat 3, Reading up on reviews I read that many individuals were having horrible experiences with major burning, and major itching. I purchased the 3 day cream and here is my experience.... When I inserted the tubule with cream for the first time, there was no burning at all.. a few minutes, there was itching. The itching was not unbearable to the point where I would lost my sanity. It was very mild deep within. The itching only lasted for a few minutes then stopped. This happened all three days . There were no irritations. The product really worked, I have not had another yeast infection. The only thing Is, the cream is very messy..The medicine isn’t that bad, it’s fast acting and it drains out everything , I highly do not recommend to use this product all the time, but I do recommend it for mild infections."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I have to take antibiotics frequently, so I get YIs periodically. I've always taken diflucan orally or used Monistat 7. I inserted the first dose of M3 last night before bed. I realized about 2 minutes later that I had to pee. After I did, it hit! The burning and itching was so intense that I had to walk around a minute to get myself together. I laid in bed writhing in pure misery from the stinging & intense itching. Burning was bearable, but the itching just about did me in. I finally took my panties off & kept my legs separated so the heat wouldn't activate the yeast, as if it wasn't already activated. I was desperate! Took 2 hours to go to sleep, but laughing hysterically at the other reviews sure made the itching more bearable!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "Used the 3 day monistat per recommendation of my obgyn nurse and holy moly this burns like no other. I jumped in the bath and literally scraped as much out as possible...that helped but I am still more uncomfortable than before. I put coconut oil in and around and that has drastically helped the burning and itching. Hope this helps. DON'T USE THIS PRODUCT!"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I’m not sure and I feel bad for you women who went through the burning and itching faze but I took monistat today I was off of work so I took it earlier in the day and went to sleep I currently just feel nauseous but I don’t feel anything down there. There was leakage I'm not sure if it was too much or too less so I just put a pad on and fell asleep. I had very little itching and burning for my YI but I hope this just works I’m going to continue the last two sessions and hope it continues to work"

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "I'm on my first night using Monistat 3, and I'm here sitting down after 30 mins with the most horrible burning sensation down there. I swear I'm very tempted to scream and jump, 'cause IT'S TRULY EVEN WORSE THAN THE YI ITSELF. I must say 2-3 minutes after I put the cream everything felt terrible. After 30 mins, the burning and itchiness are SLOWLY decreasing. So, ladies, be aware of the side effects, because it's really a nightmare. I just hope it does its job, 'cause this feels horrible."

For Vaginal Yeast Infection "IF YOU HATE YOURSELF & YOUR VAGINA USE THIS... IF NOT DO NOT PURCHASE THIS. I knew I had a yeast infection but was too lazy to go to the doctors & figured I would give Monistat 3 day a go... WORST idea ever. Yesterday was night one and 2 minutes after inserting the suppository my vagina was on fire (the only way i can describe it is like having poison ivy and red ants in your lady parts). Had a script called in for me & the doctor recommended I finish out the Monistat because I apparently have a "really bad YI". Night 2 is tonight and is just as bad as last night. I WILL NOT BE DOING THIS A 3RD NIGHT. All of the responses to this are spot on. Learn from everyone elses mistakes!!!!!!!"
