"I have been on Belviq for 9 days now and have lost 7 lbs. The first day I had a severe headache and some dizziness. I only took one pill that day. My headache and dizziness went away once the pill wore off. Started again the next day and no headache so I kept going and took the two pills that day. I have had no side effects since that first day. It does curb my appetite and I haven't been hungry. I am using my fitbit and the MyFitnessPal app to keep up with my exercise, calories and water intake. I need to lose around 65 pounds. Belviq costs me $75 a month, I got the discount coupon from my doctor. Update...One Month 15 pounds down. No problems at all, it's working for me."

"Well started belviq once a day on May 14 2015. My starting weight 187 lbs. Nine days later weighed at 185 lbs . May not seem like a lot BUT considering didn't go not once to the gym I think it is pretty good.!!! This coming up week I will try to do some type of exercise. I find though that the first pills really curbed my appetite. Now a few pills later it doesn't seem to be as strong as the beginning. Will continue on them for one month and see how it goes. If I don't see a big amount of weight loss I will ask my Dr to put me on phentermine. Being that phentermine is more affordable. And it would make no sense at all to pay so much $$$$ on a pill that doesn't really cut it for me ..."

"Been on belviq for a week now. Appetite has seriously changed. I basically eat cause I know I have to eat. I have NOT suffered from headaches like I did the first 2-3 days. Have not yet weighed myself but my starting weight was 187 lbs!! Will weigh when I finish my first months med. I only was prescribed one per day so I take it around noon and it lasts me the entire day. I haven't been going to the gym yet but will restart again next week. I definitely notice a change in how my clothes fit I strongly recommend belviq to EVERYBODY."

"Southern big boy 5'9 247 and felt like a slug. I used to be a weight lifter but at 48 years old those days are gone. I had gone to my opthamologist and he sent me back to my regular doc. The doc told me I was in the diabetic range and needed to to go on metformin. He had some patients take Belviq for weight loss and suggested we try that first to see if losing the weight might help my sugar as well as other issues. One year later we my wife and I are happy to report 45 pounds gone as well as my bad blood sugar. The story is not all perfect as there were times when I thought my weight loss had stopped but my doc said your body resets and you should continue to lose weight. I am finally able to walk without knee pain and feel like my story ea"

"Just started on Belviq a week ago and I'm so glad I did! The first day I felt a little tired. I also had a couple of moments of feeling nausea, not much though. Since then, I've been feeling great. I haven't anymore side effects. The very first day I could only eat half of my meal. Just didn't want anymore. This has helped curb my appetite tremendously! I have lost 3lbs in my first week."

"I was Vol cheerleader but after four kids I am way over my head at 5"7 198 lbs. After much time I have given up that diet and exercise can do it alone. So I gave and am taking Belviq. Side effects few dry mouth, headache weight loss gradual about five pounds per month with my exercise and selective dieting. Total weigh loss 35 pounds and feeling great. Try it as it costs $75.00 if your insurance does not cover it."

"I have only been on Belviq for less than a week. I haven't worked out yet but my side effects were extremely bad the 1st two days. I had a migraine that was out of this world and I felt very intoxicated. Don't know what to say about it yet but I stepped on my scale after 4 days and I gained weight. Not cool and I'm almost scared to continue. Any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated."

"Weighed 270 on 5-8-15! 8 days later I weigh 263. If I take it early before 9 am I feel drunk or really tired but if I take it later after 9-10 am I feel ok! Im excited to see how this goes if I can afford it! With out insurance coverage its $305.00 month! Very expensive but I almost say its worth it as long as I'm loosing weight in a decent timely manner! Light exercise but I work up a sweat and drink lots of water"

"Ok, am I bad? - I have been on it for over a month with no results (or side effects or anything)... then I realized it's a twice a day pill. Oops! Today is day one of taking them twice a day. I'm 36, 250lbs and need to get back down to 170. It's gonna be a long road but I'm getting married soon and refuse to buy a plus-size wedding dress!!! We can do this!!!!"

"I have been taking Belviq for 10 days now and have lost 8 lbs. s So far the only side effect I have noticed is every morning about two hours after the 1st dose, I have to have a bowel movement. Nothing serious just seems like a regular thing. The first five days I noticed no decrease in appetite, then little at a time appetite decreased."

"i started using belviq 20 days ago. my started weight was 244 and i am 6 feet. today i am 222.5. i lost about 22 pounds in 20 days. for those who say it doesnt work. i think you need a miracle pill that will burn your fats while you are in bed. bc your such a lazy person. you just want to enjoy food and burn fats. remember you gained all these pounds in months and years. so you should expect so willing and good work out to lose them. you cant just expect everything to be perfect without moving your ass."

"I did not lose a single pound during the 15 day free trial. I ached all over, muscle aches pains, general malaise. Decided not to continue after the free trial and let me just say that the withdrawals from this drug are horrendous. Had high hopes for Belviq but seriously thought I was going to have to go to the emergency room the second day after I stopped taking it. Had racing heart beat occasionally while taking it."

"I started Belviq on March 19th, one month later I lost 6lbs! I believe the pill works to curb your appetite but you do need to also have some will power. I also suffer from PMDD which makes me moody and causes me to overeat, if not for this I think I could have lost more weight. My insurance bc/bs covers it I only pay $25 copay. Also, I take it once a day around 2-3pm because 2 a day is way too much for me, because it makes me exhausted. I need to lose 40lbs I have incorporated walking over 3 miles each day. The first couple of days of taking the pill I did have migraines and tension in my shoulders, taking aleve with the belviq helped and then the symptoms subsided. I wish you all good luck with this it works"

"Started the trial exactly 2 weeks ago. Weighed in at 305, 5'9" I am at my heaviest weight, even heavier (20#!!) Than being 9 months pregnant. First week I lost 8#, it makes me super tired, a little crabby, and I get a small headache. This week I went down to 1 pill a day hoping it wouldn't make me exhausted. Still tired and only lost 2.5# but also on my monthly this week. Ugh. Trial is up and I am not sure I want to fork over the $75 each refill. I'm conflicted. So yes it helps curb appetite and helped me lose over 10#! But I'm also drinking a ton of water and working out 3 days a week."

"I started Belviq 8 days ago. I did experience dizziness, headaches and tiredness for the first few days but now I'm back to normal and down 8.5 pounds! What's even better is that not only is my appetite gone, I also get full very quickly so even when I'm not eating as healthy, I only get between 1/4 and 1/2 (if even), which means I still lose weight."

"I started on Belviq 2 weeks ago and I am down 26 lbs. I started at 383 and am down to 357. I assume much of my wt loss (20 lbs) the first week was water wt as I was eating fast food every day. I also am using my fitness pal to help count my calories. I have also begun to walk as a form of excercise. After going out to eat this past weekend for a celebration I brought home 1/2 my meal which I have never done in my entire life. I have lost wt on my own in the past, but felt due to depression and being in a hole I needed some help this time. I also am only taking one 10 mg pill a day instead of the 10 mg 2x daily. I am not hungry and the pills are expensive so if one pill a day is working this is what I will continue on."

"I'm 5'10 and 298 lbs. tried all diets and failed at all of the. Decided to try Belviq. My doctor was against it because he was worried about side effects. I told him I was in more danger by not losing the weight. I Was really worried as I was also starting a new job and needed to travel 90% of the time. Eating on the road and everyone warned me when they started they all gained weight. I decided that wasn't going to get worse! I've been out my first week and started Belviq at the same time. It's day five and I'm never hungry no cravings a and it's amazing. I have no idea how it will continue and no idea if I've lost anything but my rings fit better and my watch slides around already. I won't be able to weigh for 2 weeks so I'll keep u posted."

"So, I started Belviq over a week ago and so far I'm liking the results. I have lost over 10lbs in the first week and I also have noticed my cravings are very minimal. I do get full quickly and stay full. I'm eating normal portions and healthier choices. I cannot wait to see the rest of the time. I'm also working out 3-4X a week."

"I have struggled with my weight for many many years. I've always told my husband that I feel like I do not have an "off" switch in my stomach or full signal from my brain - never truly having had a feeling of fullness. Belviq has truly changed that for me. No more food cravings (especially for carbs and sweets). I am eating healthy portions of food, and it takes far far less on my plate to feel satisfied. Combined with some exercise I go to the gym for cycling or treadmill when my schedule allows it, or I walk my dogs, I am seeing results. I've been on Belviq for a month and a half and am down 16 pounds. I'd like to lose approximatly 50 more. For the first time in my life I feel like a "normal" eater."

"I have been on this medication for a month and I have lost 6lbs. You may think that is not much, but it is better than gaining 2 or 3 lbs here or there. I had actually only taken 1 pill a day instead of the 2 pills a day the first month. Now that I am on my second month, I am taking the two a day and waiting on the results for next month."

"I've been on Belviq for 3 weeks and initially experienced dizziness for 4 days. That's gone away and I feel great. I have more energy and sleep better. My insurance won't cover Belviq until I tried 2 other weight loss meds, so I'm grateful for the help with the $75 card from Belviq. I've been able to control my eating and resist temptations. And I'm down 14lbs! LOVE BELVIQ!"

"Belviq is the best thing that has ever happened to me. I stalked the web for a month before I tried it looking for the most detailed reviews, to ease my mind, so I'm here to provide one. Been on Belviq 1 1/2 weeks- down TEN POUNDS. How?! you ask? No more cravings. When I want sweets? I turn to fruit. When I want salty? Cucumbers with a bit of salt. Usually a cup of food and I'm full, pushing the plate away. I keep to about 1,000 calories a day now, which is so easy to stay within, because I'm hardly ever hungry. No real side effects, felt a little dizzy first two days, but it passed quickly. Vivid weird dreams every night though! But I sleep like a rock. BP and heart rate are down, and I have more energy. Go Belviq!"

"I've been on Belviq for one month. I've lost 29.5 lbs, and I'm thrilled. I've also stuck to a 1500 calorie diet. The biggest thing it did for me was take away the thought of cravings. I would pay any amount of money to have these kind of results."
