I have to give an update here. I have lost about 11% my body weight since starting Belviq 4 months ago. I am starting to exercise as well. The biggest difference? No more snacks and I don't feel hungry anymore. I am excited and so happy at my progress. I have shared my excellent results with friends and family. Where has Belviq been for so long? I could have used this 5 years ago!

Have been on this medicine for five weeks including the first two week trial. I didn't start counting calories until week 3. Wanted to give the trial two weeks to watch for side effects. Except for a headache the first three days, no side effects except great night's sleep. Belviq has halted the binge process completely. I only eat when I am hungry and have no sweet cravings after a meal like I used to have. As a bonus, I have stopped my "picking" habit. Best medicine ever! Oh, one con. Insurance (Cigna) does not cover it.

I have been a big boned guy all my life 5"9 227 pounds. High blood pressure, cholesterol and bad joint pain. Since my early teens I have been bigger then most boys my age in every grade. I am now 34 years old and have tried just about every diet known to man without and sustained success. Four months 36 pounds down and feeling great. Easy to use minimal side effects and maximum easy weight loss. My joints are feeling better and 35 pounds to go before I hit my goal. I don't feel deprived and yes food still tastes very good but I just voluntarily eat smaller amounts. Real success real life.

Just a normal guy who used to be an outside telephone tech and now am in a supervisory role. I went from 5"10 172 pounds to 219 pounds in two years. My doctor has been telling me this weight was going to hurt my blood pressure as well as my knee joints. Since I have been on other weight loss campaigns like Nutrisystem and Weight Watchers I thought another gimmick. Results 26 pounds in four short months of easy dieting. I am now supplementing with light exercise and look forward to my next visit. Bad; a little constipation that was fixed by drinking more water and sleep well and now smoke less cigarettes. Not a cure all but a good start to a healthy lifestyle change.

Got my doc to pre authorize my Belviq three months ago. Start 6" 276 pounds age 39. Getting rid of the gut after three months 26.32 pounds down. Feel good, great energy, good sleep eating healthy and playing basketball twice a week at the YMCA. My doc likes my progress and will add phentermine next month to keep me rolling on the weight loss. I told him I will only try for six weeks and see how I feel on the add on. Good luck to all who really want to change their lives starting today.

I have lost 66 pounds since last July.Since Jenny Craig,Adkins,Lipozene and everything else is a yo yo trap. I am happy to be where I am now based on past failures. Do not lose hope this will change your life for the better. Headache yes, great sleep yes. No lap band, no awful gastric bypass for me.

Started Belviq a little over 4 weeks ago. Tried Phentermine in the past and I would lose weight but also not sleep. Belviq has been awesome. I have lost 10lbs in 4 weeks. I have Hashimoto's disease so even at that slower rate I am elated! I can diet for months and not lose any. Do get dry mouth and a little sleepy at times but I am usually not hungry and have to remind myself to eat. I am full with less food and don't have the "I have to have right now" cravings. Pretty awesome.

I have to say I love this pill. The only side effect was a small headache for the first 48hrs. My doctor wanted me to have a surgery, but I thought no I can do this on my own. I have been taking them for 2 1/2 weeks. I weighed in at 280lbs and now I weigh 269lbs. I pray that I can keep going. I have no cravings at all. I wish everyone the best.

40 year old male 5"10 235. Lost 37 lbs 3 months. No real side effects except headache and little dry moutH. No more Lipitor and no more cheesecake cravings. The wife likes the new slimmer guy. Just started exercise and looking to get to 175lbs. Things are going well with more work to be done. This is a God send for me.

Woman of Cuban and Puerto Rican heritage 5'1 and 179 pounds. I wish I could say this was genetic but I just always seemed to be famished and liked my sweets. I have seven months experience and am 43 pounds lighter. I started with diet but once the pound came off I got excited and started biking after the first month to speed things up. Side effects few headache and I was tired initially. Now I sleep easily and don't get tempted by pretty much anything.

I lost over 100 lbs with Redux in 3 months back in '96. When they removed it from the market I slowly gained all back plus some. I am so happy a safer version of this medicine has finally been released. On day 2 and I feel 85% the same as I did back then. I am now eating to live instead of living to eat. Cravings are gone. Today when I got home I was utterly exhausted because I had only consumed 400 calories. I had this with Redux, but a 27 year old body can tolerate a lot more abuse than a 43 year old one. So far I am very pleased - just have to plan better. Worst thing is the cost.

I am an embarrassed overweight person, having gained many lbs over the years. My insurance covered SOME of the cost and with the discounts offered I have been able to afford it. I went to my doctor and started using Belviq 10 mg twice a day at the end of September. My starting weight was 326 lbs; I am 5'10". My doctor was amazed that at my last weigh in I had lost some 57 lbs. My husband was SO proud of me, my doctor was also and he told me he was going to start prescribing it to each of his overweight patients that fit into the criteria indicated. Thank you Belviq.

Review by GERALDw:

Started taking Belviq 02/04/2014 at 283lbs today I'm at 267lbs. Like all the others have said, it makes you feel full and very easy to stay on a plan or goal. I follow a plan for six days of exercise and eating 2 healthy meals along with 3-4 protein shakes or snacks e.g. apples protein bars etc. Then one free day to do whatever..however I have no urge for any BAD foods anymore. I simply set the time to eat and the portion and Belviq keeps me on track with no cravings in fact I have to force myself sometimes. I sleep well and have no side effects. I think the habit changes helped along by Belviq will become permanent for me...at least I hope. Very happy with the results so far get the discount card for $75 off your monthly order.

I have taken Belviq since last October and have lost 45 lbs so far! Just need another 15 and I will have reached my weight goal. This is the first prescribed medicine that has worked for me and I am thrilled. You MUST change your eating habits as well as picking an exercise that you like to do while taking Belviq or it will not work as well. Speed walking is my love and my waist has really shrunk. HIGHLY recommend this weight loss medication.

So far Belviq is AMAZING. I did the 15 day trial offer. I started the medication on Feb 10, 2014. My starting weight was 252lbs. Today is Feb 25th, 2014. The 15th day, end of trial and I weigh 234lbs! That is 18lbs dropped in 15 days. I've changed my eating habits, drink plenty of water, I am not exercising too much around 3x a week by walking. I have experienced no side effects whatsoever. My appetite is truly decreased, I do eat healthy but not big portions like I used to and I get full pretty quickly. Going to pick up the rest of the medication at the pharmacy. I have to pay out of pocket for the rest of the medication but it is truly worth it!

I am overweight by 50 pounds and my doctor prescribed me Belviq. I have been taking it for 30 days and I have already lost 15 pounds! This medicine is amazing and a life saver! If you are overweight and have not been able to lose it naturally like me, ask your doctor and get Belviq now. You will not be disappointed.

Working great for weight loss. I am also not craving cigarettes which is a bonus as I was planning to try Chantix but this is killing two birds with one stone.

Began having thyroid issues years ago which in turn caused a progressive weight gain. I do not have heart problems, diabetes (showing some tendencies) or any severe diseases but have become very obese. My endocrinologist suggested Belviq as a way to help me lose weight and regain some energy & mobility and to prevent any development of full blown diabetes. I began back in November and as of yesterday I have lost 19 pounds - this was through Thanksgiving & Christmas. The first two weeks I experienced some dizziness but it was mild. I also have experienced "very active" dreams nightly but not enough to prevent rest. The weight loss has been wonderful and my clothes are fitting more comfortably. It has been an answer to prayer!

I have taken Belviq for two weeks and have lost 7 pounds. I eat two regular meals a day and do not feel the need to snack. Sometimes I make it through to 5 pm before eating. I am going to introduce exercise next week in a hope of speeding up the process. I originally wanted to lose 20 pounds but I decided to add 10 more to my goal. It is working for me.

I lost 10 pounds effortlessly during the 2 week free trial. After 6 days, I had lost 6 pounds and at that point, started forcing myself to eat. I'm wanting to achieve a steady, reasonable weight loss. No side effects other than slight dry mouth and sleeping more soundly. An interesting side note, Belviq is curbing all of my addictions...sugar, bread, alcohol, gambling. It's amazing so far. I'm taking Belviq 2x daily with 1/2 phentermine tablet.
