Reviews for Belviq to treat Obesity
Review by GERALDw:
Started taking Belviq 02/04/2014 at 283lbs today I'm at 267lbs. Like all the others have said, it makes you feel full and very easy to stay on a plan or goal. I follow a plan for six days of exercise and eating 2 healthy meals along with 3-4 protein shakes or snacks e.g. apples protein bars etc. Then one free day to do whatever..however I have no urge for any BAD foods anymore. I simply set the time to eat and the portion and Belviq keeps me on track with no cravings in fact I have to force myself sometimes. I sleep well and have no side effects. I think the habit changes helped along by Belviq will become permanent for me...at least I hope. Very happy with the results so far get the discount card for $75 off your monthly order.
I have taken Belviq since last October and have lost 45 lbs so far! Just need another 15 and I will have reached my weight goal. This is the first prescribed medicine that has worked for me and I am thrilled. You MUST change your eating habits as well as picking an exercise that you like to do while taking Belviq or it will not work as well. Speed walking is my love and my waist has really shrunk. HIGHLY recommend this weight loss medication.

So far Belviq is AMAZING. I did the 15 day trial offer. I started the medication on Feb 10, 2014. My starting weight was 252lbs. Today is Feb 25th, 2014. The 15th day, end of trial and I weigh 234lbs! That is 18lbs dropped in 15 days. I've changed my eating habits, drink plenty of water, I am not exercising too much around 3x a week by walking.
I have experienced no side effects whatsoever. My appetite is truly decreased, I do eat healthy but not big portions like I used to and I get full pretty quickly. Going to pick up the rest of the medication at the pharmacy. I have to pay out of pocket for the rest of the medication but it is truly worth it!

I am overweight by 50 pounds and my doctor prescribed me Belviq. I have been taking it for 30 days and I have already lost 15 pounds! This medicine is amazing and a life saver! If you are overweight and have not been able to lose it naturally like me, ask your doctor and get Belviq now. You will not be disappointed.

Began having thyroid issues years ago which in turn caused a progressive weight gain. I do not have heart problems, diabetes (showing some tendencies) or any severe diseases but have become very obese. My endocrinologist suggested Belviq as a way to help me lose weight and regain some energy & mobility and to prevent any development of full blown diabetes. I began back in November and as of yesterday I have lost 19 pounds - this was through Thanksgiving & Christmas. The first two weeks I experienced some dizziness but it was mild. I also have experienced "very active" dreams nightly but not enough to prevent rest. The weight loss has been wonderful and my clothes are fitting more comfortably. It has been an answer to prayer!

I have taken Belviq for two weeks and have lost 7 pounds. I eat two regular meals a day and do not feel the need to snack. Sometimes I make it through to 5 pm before eating. I am going to introduce exercise next week in a hope of speeding up the process. I originally wanted to lose 20 pounds but I decided to add 10 more to my goal. It is working for me.

I lost 10 pounds effortlessly during the 2 week free trial. After 6 days, I had lost 6 pounds and at that point, started forcing myself to eat. I'm wanting to achieve a steady, reasonable weight loss. No side effects other than slight dry mouth and sleeping more soundly. An interesting side note, Belviq is curbing all of my addictions...sugar, bread, alcohol, gambling. It's amazing so far. I'm taking Belviq 2x daily with 1/2 phentermine tablet.

I am on my 3rd refill have lost 57lbs as of this morning! The only side effect I have had is a little dry mouth! This medicine continues to be magical for me! Went to my doctor for a check up and prescription renewal, HE COULD NOT BELIEVE MY PROGRESS! He knew very little about the medicine until I enlightened him. He now is praising it and has prescribed it to 3 new people!

JUNE 9th weight 246 LBS. JUNE 25 weight 237lbs (weight lost before I started Belviq in order not to confound the results. Anyone can lose 9 lbs of weight gain efficiently in 16 days. It's the hard fought lbs that follow that are troublesome to lose and start the decline to excuses and discouragement. These are the LBS that I will give the credit to Belviq so that no one can say "It was water weight" or other excuse. July 22 224 Responder in spades!

I have been on Belviq for about 3 months now, and I feel great. It really works. I don't feel starving all the time. I lost about 10 lbs, but I can tell my eating habit is better, and I definitely lost inches. I have practically no side effect. I intend to be on this medicine INDEFINITELY.

I started Belviq a week ago. I have lost 7 pounds. Unlike my past dieting experiences, my stomach is not counting the minutes, hours until my next meal. This is an amazing treatment. It makes me feel full and also provides will power. I have never lost the desire to eat more before. I think this must be how normal eaters feel. It is wonderful. I had minor side effects: slight headache on and off for 2 days and some slight spaced out feeling for 2 days. My sister also started on the same day. She is having the same positive results. We were talking tonight and realized neither one of us had experienced our usually hot flashes since we started Belviq. We don't know why but not having them is great!

I was very skeptical, and have tried everything from diet/exercise to weight loss supplements. I could lose no weight no matter what. Even though I'm still not where I want to be, it looks like Belviq helped get me over that "hump" and I've lost about 13 pounds in 2 months doing the same routine that I have been. It does work.

Update from 8/17 post. I have dropped a total of 27 pounds (started at 230). There is no doubt this medicine works well but keep in mind I am highly motivated and work out 4-5 times a week. Belviq works really well on sugar cravings. I think this product will be very good for alcoholics, although I am not a heavy drinker my craving and interest in alcohol have gone way down. So now it is maybe one glass of wine with dinner instead of two or three. I am paying $145 with discount but worth it.

BELVIQ is working well after 3 weeks of using it. At 60 yrs old and 20 years of trying everything for weight loss, this seems to be the answer for me. No side effects and the weight loss is better than I anticipated for the short run. I am down 14 lbs and am feeling much better. I am looking for a overall weight loss of 50 lbs in the next 6-8 months.

The good: I've been taking Belviq for two weeks. I have had a significant decrease in appetite & desire to eat. Even when I am hungry, I'm really not interested in food. I get up to find something to snack on, but find myself walking away because nothing looks good to eat. I've had a 7 pound weight loss, so I would call this a success.
The bad: I have definitely noticed the fatigue, all day long. My mood is pretty flat all of the time. Not happy, not sad, just flat. I have been dizzy, at times to the point of needing to sit down. I also notice difficulty keeping my eyes focused on the screen. Like my eyes are drifting without my being able to control it. I'm thinking about stopping or lowering dose.

I took Belviq for 45 days and had several foggy days and headaches while on the medication. I only lost 2 pounds during that time period. After going back to my doctor he switched me over to Qsymia, which I just started this week.

A Type 2 Diabetic on Belviq (twice a day) for the last 10 weeks.
I used to Live to Eat and now I Eat to Live. Belviq has given me the full control of what to eat, when to eat and how much to eat at every meal.
Fasting Weight this morning was 224.4 Lbs down from 250.8 Lbs on 06/13/13 a 26.4 Lbs Weight Loss = 10.5%. Was able to reduce my Humalog 75/25 Insulin intake from 100 to 20 Units a day, an 80% reduction in insulin use. My Blood Glucose was also reduced from 164 to about 114 mg/dL.
Simply put, my experience on Belviq the last 10 weeks has been nothing short of AMAZING. I feel blessed that finally there is something that works incredibly well for me where I can manage my type 2 diabetes to a point where no longer need to take any more Daily Insulin Shots.

Just started Belviq, slight headache first day, which subsided, but I noticed the superhuman ability to say no to snacking. I opened the fridge and didn't want anything. Noticed bursts of "I need to get up and do something". My first night sleep was just so comfortable. Will power in a bottle.

I received a trial prescription from my physician on July 25, 2013 weighing 209.6 lbs. Today is August 12th, 2013 and as of this morning I weigh 203.6. My diet has been healthy but I have not deprived myself of occasional splurges (e.g. birthday cake or an occasional cookie or glass of wine). I have also been walking several times a week. I have been feeling well with no major adverse reactions. I have experienced dry mouth, which seems to be remedied with an increase in water/fluids. The only other issue that has been a bit annoying is I feel slightly scatterbrained and am easily distracted. I am hoping that this will improve as time goes on.

I started same day I received my prescription, weighed in at doctors office at 302lbs! In 30 days I have lost 27 lbs. For me Belviq has been magical! Whatever you eat you feel satisfied, no cravings, no night time snacking, no side effects! I am walking faithfully minimum of 5 days a week 2 miles a night! I now have started doing sit ups, side bends and light weight exercises! Every family member, friends, even people I don't know if they are interested in weight loss I tell them the success I am having on Belviq and guide them to the site! I am beyond happy and for me this is life changing.
