For Weight Loss "I started taking Belviq in September of '14, so I am about three weeks shy of a full year. For the first two weeks I lost perhaps one pound and was getting discouraged - so I simply tried harder. By the way, I was three hundred pounds on the dot when I started. I now weigh 220. Yep, 80 pounds in less than a year, and I have reclaimed my life, my energy my looks, my sex drive and my optimistic outlook on life. DO NOT expect it to work on the front end, by which I mean it is NOT an appetite suppressant. But - and this is a huge but - if you cut your caloric intake in half, you will not experience hunger cravings afterword. That is the key. EAT LESS! Belviq will take care of the rest. By the way, I lost this weight without exercise."

For Obesity "I have been on Belviq for 1 week and 1 day. Day 1 was just awful. I felt "stoned", dizzy, brain fog, tight chest, extremely tired. The positive: virtually instantaneous appetite suppression, and more than that - a feeling of satisfaction after eating only a fraction of what I normally ate. So I decided to play out the side effects and see if they went away. Each day was a little better than the last. By day 4 I was feeling mostly normal - more like a benedryl fog than a stoned feeling now. Other side effects were a mild cough, some ear/jaw pain, sneezing fits and general weirdness. It is mostly gone now and I am down 3lbs. Glad I stuck with it. I am in it for the long haul. I desperately want to be one of those before and after people!"

For Obesity "I am rating this drug a 5 at this point because it has neither been a good experience, nor a bad one. Today is the 7 day mark for me. My weight has not budged since day one, but it's only a week in. I'm drinking a LOT more water and trying to make wise meal choices. I seem to get full with less food than before I started Belviq, but I am hungry most of the time. I am also on the brink of falling asleep all day long. I can't seem to really wake up, truly, until about 2:00 in the afternoon ('I'm up at 5:30 during the week). I am hopeful based on what I've read online about the drug, but so far for me personally - no suppression of appetite, substantial reduction in energy level and no weight loss :O("

For Obesity "This medication is awesome for suppressing my appetite and helping me lose weight. I have lost a total of 23 lbs in 2 months taking 1 pill every other day. I just cannot deal with the headaches, which is why I will have to stop taking them."

For Weight Loss "I travel a lot. I eat out a lot as a result. I have gained a lot of weight because of my job. I just don't have the time to exercise. My doctor got concerned when my BMI ballooned to 38. I started Belviq and I pay $75 per month. Cheaper than the other TV weight loss systems and I won't try the GNC stuff. Not safe! I lost 22 pounds this summer and so far I am pleased. No real side effects to report. For me, $75 is a lot per month but I was spending more on food! Lunch and dinner would cost me $20 a day, 4-5x per week."

For Weight Loss "I started taking Belviq on July 15th. After the first 15 days free trial period, I lost 8 lbs. Before Belviq, I ate healthy foods but I felt hungry all the time and wound up snacking at night and even after a heavy dinner. Now I get full right away halfway through my meal and I don't snack at night any longer. To date, I've lost 15 lbs and counting! I had minor side effects - mostly tiredness. Been taking vitamin supplement and my tiredness has taper down. LOVE THIS PRODUCT!"

For Weight Loss "I have only been talking Belviq for 6 and I have already lost 5.4 pounds. I only take one pill a day. I do feel a little fatigue but I can deal with that! Also, a little dry mouth but this increases my water intake. This medicine is an answer to prayers. I am never hungry and when I do eat, I eat less than 1/2 of my food."

For Weight Loss "I started Belviq mid-May 2015 at about 234 lbs, and in the first month lost 7 pounds (eating 1500-2000 calories per day depending on the day). In the second month I lost 4 (again eating a similar diet). In the last month I have lost another 4 (same thing). Although this is good progress, I'm not sure it is worth the cost to continue. In the beginning there was some feeling of fullness more quickly when eating but that has diminished over time. I'm considering going off of it soon because I'd like to get pregnant. Also, at the 3-month mark, I'm right at the 5% recommended loss. Overall I don't feel like the drug is good or bad; I think it really depends on the individual."

For Weight Loss "I have been using for almost 1 month using only one dose a day instead of two and have lost 10pds so far with only minimal exercise. I have had dry mouth at times and notice I cry more often when exposed to a sad situation. Overall I am very pleased with the decrease in appetite and weight loss. I am praying that I do not experience any major side effects...I still need to loose another 30 to 40pds."

For Obesity "So this Sunday will make exactly one month since I started Belviq and I need to re-up on my script. This is the God's honest truth. I started at 211 pounds the first week I was too tired to exercise but I tried maybe 2 days that week. The 2nd week was much better the tiredness was gone and I got over the headaches so I was able to work out that entire week. Nothing hard core just walking at a steady pace. the 3rd week I didn't do bad during the week however I stopped working out. My weight hit a plateau and I was pissed so I started working out again. I'M PROUND TO ANNOUNCE THAT I HAVE LOST A TOTAL OF 18 POUNDS IN ONE MONTH !!! This medication requires not just eating better but exercise!!!"

For Obesity "I had gained 100 pounds over the last 4 years due to having my son, and hormone imbalances, and nothing has worked in the past. I'm currently on the 15 day free trial and I was very suspicious of a drug like this. However, I am on Day 13 and I have lost a total of 11 pounds in just under 2 weeks! I cannot be happier. I did not have any of the symptoms listed on some of the other posts (dizziness, headaches ect.) I do have a little bit of dry mouth which just forces me to drink more water. My insurance doesn't cover this, but I have the $75 copay card, which is a god send, because the medication is usually well over $200"

For Obesity "I am 5ft and weight 204 pounds. I will start tomorrow 8/12/15 on Belviq. I've done a lot of research before going to my Dr. for this medication. I've spent hundreds of dollars on all sort of weight loss medications. Though Belviq is on the expensive (thank God for the manufacturer discount) end I'm willing to try it. I already work out 30 minutes a day. So I'm very hopeful this will work. I will post an update in 30 days"

For Weight Loss "Gained weight from the depo shot. Went from 110 to 173 in 9 months! I'm 22 and only 5'2 & 1/2. I have done everything. Countless gym memberships, fad diets, personal trainers and programs like Weight Watcher and It Works. I went from 173 to 123 from tons of different methods over the course of a year and a half to two. Now, a few months ago the doctor put me back on Celexa. I went from 123 to 143 within a month and a half.. Not happy after all of my hard work. I've already worked my butt off to lose weight, lost what I wanted to and then gained 20 back from another medication. My doctor understood my frustration and started me on Belviq August 1st. August 7th.. I am down 5.4 pounds!!! I walk 2 miles a night, only drink water. Love it!!!!!"

For Obesity "I have been on belviq for 5 days and I'm down 2 pounds...my starting weight on Monday was 251 and now I am 247. I have cut back on eating due to not feeling hungry all the time so that helps me count calories so I don't over eat but I will say that you need to make sure that you eat breakfast in the morning. Don't forget to download Myfitness Pal to help. Side effects: I had a headache, drowsiness/dizziness the fist day but that seem to wear off the first day or so. Good luck everyone and I will keep you updated on my weight loss. Adding exercise this week everyday!!"

For Obesity "I am looking for a jump start on my weight loss and my Dr. prescribed Belviq for 60 days. I started taking the pills 7/31/15 and return to the Dr.today 8/7/15 and have lost 1lb. I was 360lb and now 359lbs. I only take 1 per day because I was afraid of side effects reviews I read. I'm not a diabetic and have not had any side effects. So far so good. And planning overtime to increase to 2 pills per day."

For Weight Loss "Began taking Belziq 2 months ago and I'm down 20 pounds! It does not make me feel jittery at all. It controls my appetite very well, making me feel full / satisfied after eating only small amounts of food. I'm not an exerciser, but feel certain that if I could walk about 30 minutes per day, the weight would come off faster - my knee just won't let me walk. My insurance does not pay for Belviq, but I am using the manufacturer's savings card and only paying $75 per month. Without the savings card, the cost is a bit over $200 per month!"

For Weight Loss "I've been on Belviq for about 12 days. The side effects the first week were a little rough, severe dry mouth, body aches, dizziness, fatigue. and I actually gained 3lbs! But, if you can get through that, the 2nd week has improved. The side effects have mostly disappeared with the exception of the dry mouth. I have lost the inital 3lb gain and am down 3 more! I'm never hungry and have to remind myself to eat. When I do eat, I'm fuller faster! My insurance didn't cover, so I downloaded the 15 day free sample and the savings card from the website and so my cost will be $75 a month. I'm planning on staying on this pill & will keep you updated on the progress. I'm pretty excited now that I'm seeing the weight loss!"

For Weight Loss "I have been taking for a month. I love this product. First couple of days, I did feel bad. I started with 2 pills a day, but had to drop back to one and side effects went away. It has officially been 28 days and I am down 13 pounds. I used the savings card I got from my doctor and got my 1st month supply for $75.00. Also just found out if I do mail-ordered scripts, I can save even more. My insurance will cover a lot of the cost. I love it and once again am excited about getting on a scale."

For Obesity "Since I started taking this medicine I have lost 11 inches total and 15lbs. I noticed since starting this I have been able to keep up on daily work along w workouts. When I think I wanted something to eat my mind will think about it but then quickly change to do something else. I love this med and I love that I'm getting in shape because of it. I even sleep better at night now. I no longer take blood pressure med and only half of anxiety/depression med. Even with Multiple Sclerosis I'm doing great!!!!"

For Weight Loss "I've been taking Belviq for 33 days and am quitting it today. During this period with proper diet and exercise I lost 4 pounds. The side effects have increased rather than decreasing. I'm extremely tired, weak and dizzy at times. My blood pressure is normally low but it is lower now. Given the 1500 calorie eating program I'm following and regular exercise I'm more concerned about the side effects as they're decreasing the quality of my life. I can do better than this on my own without the added risks of side effects."

For Weight Loss "Started taking just today! I couldn't believe how full I got at lunch. I am making sure to eat a little something low cal, low fat and low carbs every two hours. Never hungry, Slightly tired and a little bit of nausea after I ate lunch. However, I'm very excited how I end up in a week."
