For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Had 1st shot of Simponi and didn't notice any change. I was also taking 2 pills of methotrexate. Doc upped methotrexate to 6 pills. I had been getting muscle spasms intermittently since starting Simponi. After 3rd shot, I got the muscle spasms the next day and they lasted for a week. Doc took me off Simponi due to the muscle spasms and also because I didn't notice any change in AS. "

For Ulcerative Colitis "I have UC, fibromyalgia, RA, Diabetes type 2, and many more health issues. I've been on SIMPONI for about 4 months, my symptoms have become worse, chronic pain, intense swelling burning tingling hands and feet, BLOATED STOMACH that just won't deflate,l oss of appetite, I don't want to have the SIMPONI ANYMORE, I'M now worried, and scared, as it's rejected my body ,I have just about had enough of the intense pain...I'm happy to hear good results from people it has worked for..."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Used for psoriatic arthritis and Ankylosing spondylitis. Seriously multiplied my pain by at least 10, psoriasis was also much much worse than I’d ever had it previously. Extremely tired, asleep more than awake, terrible pressure felt on the top of my head daily, stuck with it for 5 months in the hope it would settle. No such luck in my case… could say it was worth trying however it really really wasn’t. Wish I never used it at all"

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I have had two infusions so far. The first one made me feel really good but the second one did not so much. The third one is coming up shortly, and I am hoping it helps. I had no side effects from either infusion."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I only was on Simponi for 8 weeks and sadly, it helped the pain and stiffness for my AS, but it caused major GI issues. I have IBD and it is supposed to help with that, but it made mine 1000 times worse. Liquid diarrhea up to 10 times a day and abdominal pain was horrible. Once the meds wear off, the symptoms get better."

For Ulcerative Colitis "I've got UC started therapy with Simponi almost two years ago because I was a steroid-dependent, even if I generally felt well. The last colonoscopy, done 6 months ago, showed that I was in complete remission and luckily I still feel great. I haven't noticed any collateral effect, maybe I've just gained some weight, but probably I was underweight before (I am 1,63m tall, and my actual weight is 51,5kg)."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I tried the injection once before after coming off of another biologic that made my symptoms worse. I did not really give it a chance as I did not seem to get any better. I was frustrated with my symptoms and took myself off of everything for 3 months. I had terrible joint pain could not open anything up and severe rash flare up so I tried it again with better results so far will be on my second consecutive dose shortly. The only thing I have found odd and maybe unrelated is heart flutters and an upset stomach."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I have gotten worse while taking this drug. My skin is far worse and I’m incredibly itchy. I’ve suffered 2 severe middle ear infections and pustule psoriasis that I never had before in places I never had problems. I took 4 doses all together. The side effects are not worth it for me. I’m happy it works for some people unfortunately I am not one of them."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "I have been taking Osimponi since November 2022 for Psoriatic Arthritis Spondylitis. I have been experiencing Chronic fatigue, shortness of breath, infections low hemoglobin, dizzy spells, and high cholesterol. It has also made me sick every day to the point I can hardly eat due to chronic nausea. Will not be taking next month's injection. Horrendous experience."

For Rheumatoid Arthritis "I was taking Embrel previously and found that it helped but my doctor moved me on to Simponi. I have done two infusions of Simponi and developed psoriasis on my face which is painful. The doctor has told me I have had an allergic reaction to this medication. I have had an allergic reaction to a similar medication, Humira. If you can't take Humira do not use Simponi."

For Ulcerative Colitis "Simponi has been a God send! Prior to starting Simponi I was unable to leave my home for any length of time. I had suffered for 2 years with UC and failed other treatments. My last C- scope in November 2020 was the best of the last 4. ❤ If I had one suggestion it would be to package an alcohol swabs with each injection ( like Humira does)."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I’ve been using Simoni for almost 10 years now. Since starting my back, neck, and hip pain has gone from an 8/10 to a 2/10, and my energy almost doubled. It’s been life changing. Side effects for me included psoriasis, hair loss and weight gain. Well worth it though to not always be in constant and debilitating pain all the time. After 10 years I’d say it’s still about 90% effective."

For Ulcerative Colitis "Been on Simponi for 3 months 5 tubes. I think I’ m worse than before. Bloating and going to toilet more often! I’ll give it another 3 months, but I can tell its not working. I know someone who also had no success with simponi, but might with Humira."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "This medication has been a life changer. After years of medications that seemed to have no major effect on my condition, there was a very noticeable improvement in my affected joints from the very first dose. I have suffered no side effects and have found both types of injections easier to administer than I imagined."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "After taking sulfasalazine and celebrex for years (also worked quite well) ...Started my first biological, Simponi 13 years ago and it was a life changer. I have lived pain free and clear skin since the day after I took my first shot. I know for me it gave me a quality of life I had only dreamed about for years. Wouldn't change it for anything. Sometimes the risk brings rewards. This was the case."

For Ulcerative Colitis "Been on Simponi for over 10 years. It has worked miracles with my UC. Full remission. Now I have major joint pain. It started about a year or so ago in my left thumb joint. Now the pain is in every joint except one shoulder all within the last 8 months. I have no Idea what is going on but the pain from the joints is becoming greater by the day. The docs say age. I'm 62 and no history of RA in the family but who knows."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Treating ankylosing spondylitis - took a long time to diagnose but once I was it explained the pain and stiffness, lethargy I experienced. I used to rest to reduce back pain, which was obviously the wrong thing for this condition. So, along with an increase in activity, I started Simponi Golimumab after suffering for about 7 years with the disease. I have now been on it for over 6 years or so and have had very little to no noticeable issues. However, the change in my sleep, stiffness, and pain is considerable. Even joints not typically associated with AS are improved pain-wise (I have a lot of sporting injuries). I sometimes get some stiffness creeping in at about the 4-week mark as I am due for the next injection (4 weekly). I also take glucosamine supplements for my knees which also improve soreness for me, and coupled with simponi my knees have never been so good. I have often found simponi to actually improve flu/fever/covid symptoms, contrary to instructions about infections."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Using it for 3 months due to spondylitis and I haven't been feeling this good for a long time. My range of motion is much better and my neck and back pain is a lot better. A few things that I've noticed are that I had an infection that progressed very fast, but after antibiotics, it was cured. I'm also getting a lot of small scrapes on my skin on the hands and face."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Works good and helps mobility. you can feel it working in 2-3 days. Also the injection process is quick and pain free. Thanks for the second chance at a bearable life."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "I was skeptical about trying Simponi at first. But i'm glad my rheumatologist encouraged me. It works awesome! Made me realize what "normal" is again. I take 50mg every 3 weeks."

For Psoriatic Arthritis "No pain after second injection. 98% clear. Only side efferct so far is nausea at times. Love this so far. Humira and Enbrel caused bad site reactions."

For Ankylosing Spondylitis "Simponi has helped my symptoms tremendously. I did not have to take methotrexate along with this. I am very happy to be almost pain free. But I do notice maybe psoriasis beginning on my scalp."
