For Birth Control "I was switched to TriNessa from Tri-Sprintec after switching insurance companies. Before I started taking it I came to this site and read ALOT of terrible reviews. I was about to go back to the doctor and ask to write my prescription for Tri-Sprintic ONLY but decided to give TriNessa a try. I did not start TriNessa on the same cycle I had been on with Tri-Sprintec for the past two years and did experience a longer than normal period (about 8 days, but very light). Now on my second month I have not gained any weight, have not had mood swings and my period is actually lighter now than it was with Tri-Sprintec (Only three days and VERY light). I will without a doubt stay on TriNessa and recommend it to others."

For Birth Control "I have taken this for 5 years. I have no symptoms at all with this pill. I have tried two others before I started Tri Nessa and had terrible side effects. This pill has been great with no migraines or weight gain."

I've been on this pill for 7 months now so my body should be used to it by now. Very unhappy."

For Birth Control "I have never written a review for something in my life but I am hoping I will help someone so they do not go through what I went through. DO NOT TAKE THIS MEDICATION. EVER. I started taking Trinessa when my pharmacy ran out of my TriSprintec. I did not think anything of it and began taking the pill. However, with a couple days of taking the pills I was having severe depression, mood swings, then after a while I eventually gained 20+ pounds and I got acne which I have not had in over 5 years. DO NOT TAKE TRINESSA. I hope someone will read the reviews and not put themselves what I went through ...."

For Birth Control "I haven't had any of the horrible side effects alot of people wrote about on here. I have almost finished the light blue pills. The only problem I had was a slight discomfort in the bottom of my belly the first couple days. I haven't had any breakouts but I got a cyst on my forehead the first week. I left it alone and it went away. I haven't had any nausea. I take the pill at breakfast with eggs and toast or sometimes just peanutbutter toast. So for anyone who is scared about taking birth control now please realize most people who review drugs have something negative to say. Don't be afraid to protect yourself."

For Birth Control "I've been on Ortho Tri-Cyclen for 10 years and loved it -- totally normal periods, no weight gain, all good. This month I had to switch to Ortho Tri-Cyclen generic called TriNessa because of the discontinuation of Orth Tricyclen and I feel like a crazy person. It's only been a week but I've cried most days and I feel like it's made my pre existing anxiety worse. I also have gained three pounds in the last week or so on it. Did this happen to anyone else on making the switch? Is this normal? They're supposed to be the same drug so I'm surprised my body is reacting so much."

For Acne "I have had acne since I was about 12 and now I am 22. I have tried everything under the sun to try and stop the horrid look. When my white heads turned into cyst like pimples I knew I had to completely do something else. I never took birth control before, but my dermatologist prescribed me TriNessa and I bless her heart everyday!!!! I love that I can be 100% honest and say this birth control changed my life. I started it in the beginning of December 2014 and it is now February of 2015 and my cysts are completely gone! It obviously is not going to happen over night, so take the time and try it! I also didn't gain weight from it, that's always a plus. So, drink water, workout, and take TriNessa and you will be a happy, happy girl!!!!!!!!"

For Birth Control "I'm 19 and this is my first birth control pill and it has worked great!!! I've been on it for a little more than 4 months. Pros: • no pregnancies • didn't change my (mostly) clear skin • no missed periods • cramps are less painful • no side effects after first month • no change in sex drive (if anything it increased lmao) Cons: • on the FIRST MONTH I had nausea, decreased appetite, random cramps, increased anxiety (and I already have anxiety disorders) • period flow is still the same • period still lasts 4-5 days • random bloating (I don't mind it tbh) • my belly is a bit bigger ¿?"

For Birth Control "I recently went on Trinessa after being off of birth control for several years. I explained to my doctor that when I took BC pills in the past I always had taken the low dose OrthTricyclen. He prescribed me the normal dose of Trinesaa anyways. Needless to say, I will never take these pills again. I was given a 90 day supply, and the first few days of taking it I was constantly nauseous. Then after about a month I noticed a five pound weight gain (I am a soldier in the US military so I work out five days a week and nothing else could have caused this) which, by the time the prescription had ran out had ballooned up to almost fifteen pounds! After roughly a month I started having horrible mood swings. Never again will I feed myself hormones."

For Birth Control "I was taking YAZ but it was costing me $70 a month. My doctor suggested TriNessa because it would only cost $9 a month with such a cost decrease, I changed even though I was happy with YAZ. BIG mistake. I hadn't put two and two together until recently, but Trinessa has made me a monster. I am constantly aggravated. Every little thing annoys me and I have no sex drive AT ALL. I don't even want to be hugged and kissed anymore. I cry constantly and I am ALWAYS tired despite getting plenty of rest. It has been a nightmare. I was unsure as to what was wrong with me. I even went to the doctor for blood work because of how tired I have been. Trinessa has made me a different person and I am switching back to YAZ as soon as I finish this pack."

For Acne "Just finished my 3rd month, and I have not experienced any side effects besides a tiny bit of weight gain. It cleared up most of my moderate acne. Do not be discouraged by the dozens of terrible reviews, I felt the same way before trying it."

For Acne "Went on this to try and get my hormonal acne under control, and while it took about six months to get rid of my acne, I couldn't be happier with it now. (I've been on it for about eight months, and now I don't have any cysts or whiteheads. It feels like a miracle!)"

For Birth Control "I've been on trinessa for 5 years. Age 17 to 21. My doctor prescribed it for hormonal acne I had. I also use it for birth control and it has worked perfectly. The first two months I had mood swings, which is to be expected when putting hormones into yourself. I went up two cupsizes. I didn't notice it clearing my acne for about 2 or 3 months but it's worth the wait. I do still get cramps but nothing a motion can't fix. My acne is still present occasionally, but that is definitely due to genetics. The pill makes my periods extremely regular and accurate, which is great. I get them the fourth Wednesday of every month always around 10-11am. I would recommend."

For Birth Control "I was prescribed Trinessa by my doctor in September of 2015 and have been taking it ever since. This is the only form of birth control that I have been on, which is why I gave it 9/10. It works very well. Prior to taking Trinessa, I had some acne but ever since, I have clear skin and rarely ever get a pimple. I had one minor headache when I first began taking this medicine but have not had one since. Make sure that you eat before or immediately after taking the pill, otherwise you will feel nauseous. My periods are much lighter and cramps are almost nonexistent. I definitely recommend this as a birth control."

For Birth Control "Trinessa was great at first! I have always had pretty good skin and it has not altered that. I did not gain weight and my period was lighter. Unfortunately, I experienced a lot more cons than pros. First, I noticed that I was unable to control my blood pressure. It was to the point where I almost needed pills for my blood pressure and I have never had problem previously. Aside from the blood pressure I was over emotional. I'm a very outgoing person but I found it hard to be around others these past few months because I was annoying! I cried about everything. I was supremely jealous if my friends hung out without me, and I'm never like that. I would get sad in the middle of the day or night with no explanation. I feel a tremendous change after stopping"

For Birth Control "I was on Trinessa for a little under a year. I threw up during the first week of each pack and I was so emotional. I could hardly function both physically and mentally. I don't know how I made it to school and passed during the first week of the pack and I could not make it to work during the first week of each pack. The second week I was just plain exhausted and could not do much either. The doctor kept telling me those symptoms would go away. I finally called up there as one crying angry woman and they finally changed it for me. I feel great and back to normal now."

For Birth Control "I was on the shot for about 3yrs but decided to change to a birth control, and my Doctor recommended Tri-Nessa since I had mild acne. So I started taking it and I have to say I love it. My period comes at the same time every month, no pregnancy scares and I often have sex unprotected. My acne cleared up. The only side effect I had in the beginning was tender breast, and being a little emotional. After it went away. I take the pill at the same time every day. So I highly recommend to everyone."

For Acne "I've never had acne until I was 27, I thought it was from giving birth but even 6 months later I was still breaking out. I started Trinessa and took it for 4 years and never had a pimple unless I stopped taking it. I'm now on a birth control implant and was taking Trinessa at the same because I was breaking out again. However I had to stop taking the Trinessa due to mood swings on two birth controls. I am going to have to take out my implant and get back on Trinessa, I get deep painful pimples that last weeks."

For Birth Control "I've been taking Trinessa for about 2 and a half months. The first week upon taking it, I had severe abdominal pain and headaches. I was hungry all the time but, due to the warning that I would have increased cravings, I controlled it rather well. It seemed to get better throughout the month, my face was clearing up, I had energy again, but I still got minor to severe pains on a regular basis. My period came after three days of being on the inactive pills and lasted 4 days. My cramps improved drastically and I was still hormonal, just less. I started back on the pills again and the first day I experienced extreme nausea and vomited. The nausea has continued to follow me for the past weeks, now I am looking into the Nuvaring."

For Birth Control "THIS. PILL. ALMOST. RUINED. MY. LIFE. I managed to destroy countless relationships while on this pill - luckily, my mother (the only one willing to stick around when I became a sobbing, irritable and unbearable mess) told me to stop taking trinessa immediately. Within a matter of days my dark thoughts (which I was having for the first time in my life) disappeared. Although my friendships have been mended and my mental state is now back to normal - I am still dealing with the embarrassment and guilt I have over the way I acted. PLEASE, SPARE YOURSELF! I do not want anyone to experience what I went through."

For Birth Control "I absolutely love this birth control. All of my friends are on different birth controls and are always moody and more than half of them have gotten pregnant. I have been on Trinessa for 9 months now and believe me it works! Plus I used to have extremely difficult periods. I would get 2 a month and they would last 9 days and now I have a normal period that comes once a month and only lasts about 5 days and no more getting sick and crampy either. Needless to say I thank my doctor every time I see her for introducing me to Trinessa. I now recommend it to all of my friends."

For Birth Control "So I started trinessa when I was about 15 due to irregular periods. It worked VERY well for me - a bit rocky at first, but after about 3 months, my periods were regular (I was having them twice a month) and my skin was much clearer. No cramps with little bloating. I got off of the pill due to my doctor being a bit forgetful of refills, and I didn't see a huge change until the every-two-week period came back. I am now back on it and am so thankful for it!!! 10/10 would recommend"

For Acne "I just finished my first month on this pill and so far so good. I was on Tarina fe 1/20 but it broke me out HORRIBLY so my doc switched me to trinessa. No weight gain, no stomach pains, no increase in acne AND no baby. Hopefully in a few months it'll clear my skin. A lot of ppl are saying this pill made them gain weight, I actually lost some & my boobs got a teeny bit fuller (not much tho). Without ins I pay $20 per pack at PP."

I haven't gained any weight or broke out at all. No crazy mood swings either! I was terrified to try this pill because of the awful reviews but I have been totally normal."
