For Acne "Tri-sprintec is definitely the best medication I have had for my face. In high school I suffered from awful acne that got worse a week before my period started. My face was also burning so bad that I could hardly wash my face (the main reason why I had so much ance). My gyno prescribed this medication just for controlling the acne. Now I have been on the medication for 5 years and my acne has completely disappeared, and I don't ever remember my last bad pimple!"

For Birth Control "I love Tri-sprintec! It has regulated my cycle and cleared up my skin. The first couple of months I was a little nauseated when I took it, but that has gone away. This pill helped to balance out my hormones and actually helped me to lose weight. No complaints other than the 1-2 nights of nausea I experience when I start a new pack. Oh, and it's FREE. "

For Birth Control "Please, listen to you doctor and do not read reviews. I was scared to death when I was reading all these horrible reviews. I've been on this pill for a month now and it's been wonderful. Not moody, I feel it has actually made me more relax and layed back. No bloating. Have not gained weight. Take it correctly and take it at the exact time and everyday."

For Birth Control "I am 34 years old. I have 2 children one is 8 and one is 6. I switched to this birth control from Ortho. I got pregnant on this pill. I had to have a abortion because I am not able to have another baby. I was 6 weeks pregnant. I took this pill everyday I never skip one pill. This has put me in a depression and now I can’t get out of it."

For Acne "Growing up I've always had sensitive skin and mild acne. In Summer of 2016 I went on vacation and when I came back, I broke out terribly, in October 2016, my doctor prescribed me Ortho Tri Cylen but my insurance covered Tri Sprintec. Because of all of the negative reviews, I was hesitant to try it. I didn't really see any dramatic results until the 7 month mark, my skin started clearing up more and more and in the 8th month I had CLEAR SKIN. Overall with clear skin, bigger boobs and no side effects, I am EXTREMELY HAPPY with Tri Sprintec!! If you're on the edge about taking this pill, give it a shot! You'll never know if you don't try, this could be your miracle!"

For Birth Control "I have been on this pill for about a year now and I just cannot deal with it anymore! I used to be so happy but lately I'm a different person, someone who is not nice. At first I thought just I hadn't gotten used to it yet but as more time has went on I am hateful, severely depressed, nauseated, very tired, and constantly just an unhappy person. It has effected my relationships with everyone and the next chance I get I'm switching to something else. I'm not saying it will do this to everyone but I know it has been awful for me. One thing it had done is what it was supposed to do, it kept me from getting pregnant."

For Birth Control "Trisprintec was the first birth control pill I used. I choose it because I was told it would help with acne. (And obviously as a contraceptive). At first, TriSprintec was good for me, it helped my acne (it didn't completely go away) and my boobs got bigger! And well, I wasn't pregnant. However, after two months I began to notice myself having mood swings. This was so strange for me because I am such a relaxed, chill person. I couldn't ignore that I was moody. Little irrelevant things that happened with my boyfriend would make me very sad/mad and well. I don't think I've ever cried as much as I did when I was on this. It was beginning to interfere with my relationship, so I stopped taking it. This was just me, so it may be different for you."

For Birth Control "I have been on this birth control for 3 months now, it seems to be effective. I am baby free & my periods are more regulated now. However, I have noticed that I am hungry ALL the time...all I want to do is snack, and have really intense cravings. I haven't gained any weight because I try to keep that under control, but it is hard. I have also noticed that this birth control has helped with my breast soreness/tenderness before my period. Now they do not hurt nearly as bad whereas before I was in terrible pain so bad that it hurt to put a bra on. Oh and this medication is free. So that's a plus."

For Acne "For a few months on Tri-Sprintec, everything was fine, and then my acne got worse, now I have the worst acne of my life. I never even had pustules when I was in high school. Ironically, I clear up during my period, suggesting that the hormones in these did the complete opposite effect of what I had intended."

For Birth Control "Just like many things, everyone's experience will be different. It is my first time ever taking birth control, my boyfriend and I are very sexually active so I wanted to be safe and get on the pill. We have unprotected sex all the time without him ever having pull out. Despite all the negative reviews, I gave Tri-Sprintec a try. I didn't really notice the "side effects" until the third month in, which is normal. The only negative thing I can say about this pill is that it has increased my appetite. I gained roughly 5-7lbs, I found myself snacking a lot more and just having an appetite all the time. My boobs also grew a bit and they're more tender. As far as acne, I haven't broken out at all on this pill. It works and I'm not experiencing mood swings or anxiety, I take it at 4pm everyday."

For Birth Control "This drug is a life ruiner. I was on Trinessa for a while and doing fine before I randomly got switched to this for no reason. Since starting this drug, I have become nauseous, lightheaded, depressed, constipated, and extremely fatigued. I can only wear loose, flowy clothing or I will get heat flashes and pass out (I'm only 21). I have headaches regularly. Anxiety tics that I worked hard to get rid of years ago are back. I have painful cystic acne that I never had before and I've gained weight. Taking this drug almost made me fail a semester of school and it cost me multiple friendships because I was too fatigued and depressed to leave my room and socialize. My self-confidence is at an all time low. It is not worth it. This drug is cruel."

For Birth Control "I'm about too start on my 3rd month and so far I love it. On my 2nd month I had a little spotting but nothing big. It helped with pimples but they get worse before my period but after I'm over then they are gone. I've had sex many times in the 2nd month without a condom and so far I'm baby free so the birth control does work. It helps my periods and the reason I got on was so I can have a constant one. It helped this 16 year old real good!"

For Acne "I started taking Tri-Sprintec 7 months ago. I mainly wanted it to treat acne but also as birth control. I had moderate acne and it actually took a while for the pill to finally help my skin. I had to be patient with it because it took about 4-5 months for my skin to clear up with occasional pimples around my period. The pill did thankfully increase my breasts size after a couple weeks to a month of taking it, and I felt like my appetite has increased but I've only gained around 7 pounds since I started and I've always been at 100 pounds. This pill has been great to me and I haven't had any problems with it so far (that I know of)."

For Birth Control "Been on this pill for 6 months now. Never had any problems like everyone else. I always had trouble with my periods; lasted 8 days, super heavy, sick when I started and bad cramps. Plus my period lasts only 4 days. The only side effects I have is light cramps and not as hungry anymore. I weighed 160lbs and now weigh 147lbs. I love this pill and will continue taking it."

For Acne "I switched from the IUD to Tri Sprintec 4 months ago in the hopes of clearing my moderate acne and helping my lower mood. Now I wish I would have stayed on the IUD. I have never in my life had such painful, swollen cystic acne until now. It’s all over my jaw and neck, and that has never happened to me before. At first I thought it was a reaction from switching methods, but I’ve gone through 4 packs and it keeps getting worse. I plan to stop this today after reading other acne horror stories. I’d rather use condoms than refuse to leave the house because I’m so self conscious about my skin. I hate this pill."

For Acne "I decided to try Tri Sprintec after a friend recommended it to me, she said it cleared her acne up miraculously. I started this pill a month ago and I have always had moderate- severe acne ( it used to be worse but gradually got better, never fully went away). This pill made me have acne as bad as I had freshman year. It was so bad back then and I have been absolutely miserable the entire time on this pill. Not only have my emotions been on overdrive but I never want to leave my house. The pimples are large and everywhere on my face, even in places I rarely break out. Please do not try this pill there are so many others you could take."

For Birth Control "I started Tri-Sprintec a month ago, not by choice but because that was the only thing the health department had in their inventory. The nurse told me it was exactly the same as the other pills. I could definitely tell a difference in myself though just after starting them! My emotions were out of control and I kept going into deep depression mode! My appetite was pretty much gone too so I wasn't eating. A good tip is to keep a journal once you start a new pill so you can keep track of break downs, mood swings and how often they're happening. I had a break down at work, crying in front of my boss and everything. I decided to stop the pill and since then I've felt great. "

For Birth Control "I had a baby girl 6 months ago and I started this about 2 months ago and at first was doing great with it, but then after about 2 weeks of taking it have really noticed some not so great changes in me. My chin is constantly breaking out, so it did not help clear up the acne. I have really had some bad mood swings of just feeling really sad and my anxiety has been pretty bad. It has really messed with my sleeping patterns. I also gained about 16 lbs from the time I started taking this pill until now. I wear contacts and it really seems to dry my eyes out and make my vision a little blurry, which I haven't really had much trouble with before. I am seeing my doctor soon and we are planning on switching me to another birth control pill."

For Birth Control "The first year of being on Tri-Sprintec, I did great. The second year has been rough. Bad anxiety, depression, and I'm just so freaking tired all the time, some days it takes everything I can do to just make it through a 8 hour shift an make it back to my bed. I'vee always been a very energetic person until this past year. I also haven't had a sex drive in forever it seems like. And these mood swings I can't even deal with. I've really been struggling the past year. Never really thought that it was the birth control doing all these crazy things to me."

For Acne "I used to take the Depo shot but wanted something to clear my skin. These reviews scared me! My first week on the pack I broke out a little bit more than usual and was very moody, I kept telling myself that its my body getting used to the hormones. And sure enough, after my first week my skin is clear (a few blemishes from sleeping with makeup on) my mood is great, just like its always been, and intimacy with my boyfriend isn't a problem. I'm not experiencing the vaginal dryness. I'm starting my second pack and I'm glad I gave this a try. Ladies, take Vitamin A daily, 10,000 IU this should help with the skin clearing! Best of luck!"

For Birth Control "I’ve been on Tri-Sprintec for about 5 months now, for bad cramping. I’d like to say that I am a lesbian, so this is not a contraceptive for me, it was just to alleviate my period pain & heavy bleeding. The first three months were the worst. I gained a little weight, was the most MOODY I’ve ever been, & was sad often. However, once you get past all of that in those 3 months, its a life saver. My period pain has decreased so much that honestly I’ll forget I’m on my period, it’s made them lighter, & shorter. My skin is clearer, the weight I lost from the first 3 months is gone, and I’m not moody anymore. HOWEVER!! It does kill my sex drive almost completely, so if you are worried about that, take it into consideration before trying this birth control."

For Birth Control "This is my second form of birth control and I absolutely love it! My insurance pays for it, so it does not cost me one penny. When I did pay for it; it was less than ten dollars. I started on the Depo shot and I hated it. I gained 40 pounds on it, and it affected me tremendously. Tri-sprintec hasn't let me down. I have used it for little over two years now. My boyfriend and I have been together for a year and we have been baby free. It continues to work for me. I haven't gained any weight. I don't get mood swings. The only difference I have noticed is a little bit more cramping, but nothing major. Cramps have been bearable. If you are looking for a steady birth control, than this could be for you."

For Birth Control "I wish I could still be on this pill. I started with Tri-Sprintec at the age 16 due to having irregular menstrual cycle and I am now 22 years old. When I was on this, it was like I wasn't even taking birth control. I did not have any sort of side effects and if I did then it was a minimal cramp that I can still go on about my day. If I could go back to this I would in a heart beat but since I had a breakthrough bleeding in-between my periods, my doctor took me off. I don't know if these work best for irregular periods but it was the best for me. Hopefully this is helpful to those who are thinking of taking this or are starting it/been on it."

For Acne "I was very skeptical about trying this pill because it is a generic and I have heard negative things about it. I have been on it for two months and so far, no weight gain, no nausea, no mood swing, or any other of the reported side effect. The best part about this pill is that it completely cleared up my cystic acne after only a few weeks. I have been on a couple of other pills with horrible side effects. Find the pill that works best with your body. This one seems to work best with mine."

For Abnormal Uterine Bleeding "I was 17 when I started on this pill because I had cysts on my ovaries. This pill is a good pill and not a bad one like a lot of the women are saying. This pill has the same side effects as all the other pills do. Yes, I gained weight at first, but now I am back to my normal size because my body regulated it. The leaflets say you may not feel well the first 1-3 packs. It's because your body has to regulate it! "
