"I wanted to come back and review again. It's been almost four whole months on Amethyst. I had bleeding for the first 37 days on it. Headaches and feeling sick as well. By month two things were evening out and I went probably three weeks with no bleeding, to an occasional spotting. Since then it's been spotting regularly and these past few days I've been bleeding very heavy. I think it's time to go back to the doctor. Another issue is acne. I'm breaking out horribly."

"I've been taking Amethyst for several years to prevent having periods and therefore prevent hemorrhagic cysts. After years of dealing with excruciating cysts ruptures that would send me to the ER, I finally took multiple gynecologists advice to take a low dosage, continual BCP. Why did I wait? This has worked completely. In the beginning, I did have several weeks of spotting after initially bleeding (and yes, one more cyst rupture). This was all a pain, but once the spotting stopped, I've been period and cyst free for several years. Totally worth it to me."

"I'm 32 years old. I had my tubes cut so I would never get pregnant. I was on the Depo shot for 3 months when I was 18, worst decision. I was scared to get back on it after my bisalp surgery. I thought, why have a period if I can't get pregnant? After a lot of research, I stumbled onto this brand so I tried it. With consistent spotting for two weeks at a time, I threw this brand in the trash three times. I then pulled it out of the trash three times, thinking that if I just keep taking it, it'll be worth it. At the 6-month mark, all bleeding completely stopped, all spotting stopped. It has been absolute heaven for me. Best birth control ever to stop my periods. It takes 3 to 6 months for your body to adjust. Apparently, I fell under the six-month mark and couldn't be happier. Through those 6 months of spotting or bleeding, I just used a flex disc during sex, and partners wouldn't even notice while I was adjusting to it."

"On my first pack. Started on day 3 of my period and have been miserable ever since. Nausea, cramping, acne, headaches, and bleeding for 23 days straight. Not spotting, but actual bleeding, and sometimes heavy with big clots. I know it takes time, but at this point I'd rather deal with a regular period. After 3 weeks my breasts are extremely tender. Don't know how much longer I'll last on this pill."

"I have horrible headaches with this birth control, I don’t know why. Besides that everything is fine but the headaches would last all day it was horrible. Anyone else??"
