"Jublia was prescribed to me after having an allergic reaction to oral medication. My big toe was about 1/2 infected. After using Jublia for the past 4 years there has been no improvement. The fungus has not increased, but it has also not improved :("

"I had pretty bad fungus on my toe nails. At first it was my big 2 toes, then it spread. I remember my small toes didn't even look like they had nails. I was devastated, and just used nail polish to cover up. Then my big toe completely came off the nail bed. I went to the dermatologist and he prescribed it, warned me that it will take a year if anything, and that he didn't really think I was going to get a nail back. I used it every night, and tried to leave my nails pretty short. My small nails cleared up, and my big toe nail GREW back completely at 8 months, it has been 12 months you can't tell even if you tried! SO THANKFUL! $25 copay, but I would have paid more if needed."

"I have been searching for some way to get rid of this toenail fungus for 10 years with no success. I was hopeful that Jublia would work. I applied every morning for over 6 months to no avail. Not only does it not work (like all the others) but it damaged the skin around my nails also. I am so, so frustrated that this is yet another failed attempt to treat this disease. Can't believe that the medical and drug industries are using another disease to rake in money and keep the disease alive. Shame on all of you."

"I am very happy with this medication. I dropped a table on my big toes 3 years ago and damaged the growth matrix (and nail bed). I didn't realize this also caused a fungus infection which contributed to ugly thick yellow flaky nails. For years I just sucked it up and thought my nails were ruined permanently. After so many years I saw the nail was separating almost 2/3 from the nailbed and I became worried I'd lose my nails. Went to my doctor and she prescribed me Jublia and only 2 months in I see a healthy nail growing back and also reattaching to the nailbed! It will take probably another 6-8 months maybe a year but I am so happy it's working. I only wish I had done this earlier! I am lucky my benefits cover it 100%. No side effects so far"

"On March 2017 I wrote that I was using Jublia and that my toenail was already pink and that in a few more months before the last of it would be gone. It's March 8, 2018 and my toenail is just now totally pink! It took 14-15 months for toenail to totally grow in healthy. I wrote that I was filing the nail very thin, so that the drug could fully penetrate the nail. I continued to do so, but it took so much longer than expected for the nail to totally grown in! In fact, I'm still using it to be extra sure that it's really, totally gone. The nail now, just now, looks like the others. I had no idea a toenail took this long to totally grow back in. I give Jublia two thumbs up, but I've been using it for a long time. Not sure the last 3 months of use was necessary but after so long I wasn't taking any chances. You now would never know which toenail had fungus. And I will use the Jublia until this last bottle is used up. I have to say, I'm thrilled not to have a fugly toenail!"

"What a terrible product! I had been using Jublia for about a year. Not only did I NOT see obvious effect, instead one of my toe nails had severe ingrown condition. A year ago I had to undergo a surgery to cut off the problematic nail parts. After several months, unfortunately the ingrown condition has begun to come back, and it appears that I may need another surgery. Overall a terrible experience - waste of time and resulting side effects! I am thinking about filing a complaint against"

"A salon manicure and next thing I know, I'm on Jublia. After 8 weeks, my fingernails are almost perfect again. For me, it definitely works. Maybe I'm lucky. I think catching on early to what was wrong with my nails helped, as I only waited a few weeks before seeking medication. I use it every day. Apply when I go to bed. This allows it to dry and stay on for 8 hours while I sleep."

"So far it seems to be correcting the toenail fungus. My foot doctor had a special insurance card for use only at Walgreens, which gets this medication (in the 4ml size) at no cost for a total of 10 bottles. Time will tell if it is completely clearing up or not. Only drawback is cost if your insurance does not cover it. Best way to apply, at least for me, is simply shake the bottle, brush side down, then rub across each toe nail as needed. I also use it before bedtime."

"I have had nail fungus on my big toe and two little toes for 10 years. The big toe Nail fell off 4 years ago and I was told by a doctor that it likely won't grow back at all. The nail did grow back but ugly, crooked and still with the fungus. I used all sort of remedies, oil of aregano, tea tree oil, vinegar, mouth wash, nail lacquer and nothing worked. Jublia cleared my Nail entirely in approximately 8 months (I forgot to use it/didnt have prescription here and there). You have to use it daily and apply to nail and surrounding area. My nail is clear and smooth now, I can't believe it! I thought I'd have to deal with it forever. Where I'm at (ontario, canada) it's only 40$ after insurance coverage..not bad compared to others I've tried :)."

"Prescribed by doctor for nail fungus on fingernails. Nails lifted and got worse, cuticles swelled and oozed yellow, finger tips blistered, painful. Used for 1 month, Went through multiply prescriptions for skin infections. Went to a London drugs pharmacy to talk to a pharmacist. He took one look and suggested a dermatologist for possible reactions and recommended stopping everything and just keeping nails dry and let them heal. Went to the doctor and he agreed. Stop using Jublia. 2 months later when my hands were better but still dealing with nail fungus - and waiting for nail culture. Tried it once as per directions and went through 5 days of swelling inching burning and blisters. Horrible product. Took lamisil pills for a month and nail fungus is stopped and my nails are healthy. Just a heads up for anyone else, using the product and possibly being told to be patient, keep using it - it’s simply the debridement from the nail growing out."

"I was struggling with a pesky toenail fungus on my right big toe for about 2 years. I tried bleach, vinegar...none of the home remedies worked. After trying everything, I consulted my doctor who prescribed me Jublia. Luckily, it was covered by my insurance at the time because it's quite expensive without. I only had one month's prescription but it lasted me several months of applications. I was skeptical, but from the single month's prescription my toenail slowly grew out over the next year into a healthy nail. I couldn't be more happy. I couldn't afford more prescriptions at the time so luckily the problem was taken care of with the single prescription. I was advised by my doctor to continue taking it until the nail grows out, about 6 months."

"The medicine was effective and I was beginning to see improvement in my nail after a few months, then started having painful redness, blisters, itching and swelling. It is miserable. I've stopped using it until all these side effects go away. I'm very disappointed in having to stop using Jublia as it was really beginning to get rid of the fungus. Before I knew what was causing these problems, I asked my dermatologist if it could be the medicine and he said he'd never had a patient to have these side effects using it. I found out on my own that it was the Jublia."

"Use this for about nine months. I have one toe that is about 70% cleared up, this is my big toe on my left foot. My toenail fungus is severe and all toenails on my left foot . Also, I have fungus on my big toe and little toe of my right foot, but very little, and not severe. The medicine seems to help with keeping my right foot nails in check but not completely clearing them up. On my left footmy toes are severely infected and only the big toe and one other are obviously getting better, but only the big toe is far along. I plan on continuing the medicine for as long as I can. I've had fungus on my toenails for 11 years and tried several different approaches to clearing it with this one being the only One to cause new clear nail."

"Used Jublia as prescribed by my podiatrist in Santa Monica Ca. Jublia had just come onto the market and the company was offering free co-pay for 11 months trial. Dr Altchuler signed me up for the program and asked that I report to him as to effectiveness. After 9 months daily use unfortunately I saw little to no improvement just as I had seen with all of the over the counter products, then before the trial ended Jublia discontinued the program and asked for a 40$ co-pay. Bottom line. Expensive and doesn't work :("

"I struggled with a fungus in my big toenail for over 10 years. I tried everything I could find in the drug store. I went to a dermatologist who prescribed an internal medicine that I was on two times for 4 months each time that did not cure the fungus. I paid a podiatrist a lot of money to perform laser treatments on the toenail which were painful and did not work. I was giving up hope until I saw the advertisement for Jublia on TV. I asked my dermatologist to prescribe it and it totally cured the fungus in the nail! It took about 9 months for the nail to completely grow out fungus free, but it was worth it! My nail is completely healthy now and has been for about 6 months. I am so thankful for this medication!!!!!"

"I have been using Jublia for about 6 months on big toe, cannot tell if it is working, I had the fungus on both nails and got rid of it soaking in diluted bleach (a dermatologist told me to do this), but then it came back on one toe, so, I am trying Jublia, so far, getting it for free thru Walgreens, I have Blue Cross Blue Shield Insurance. I had also done the laser treatment too, and it didn't work for me."

"True, it does take time, but for the first time in over a decade I'm free of toenail fungus!!!!!!! What a relief to be able to wear flip flops without gnarly nasty toes. I never let anyone see my feet out of shame. I had tried EVERY single medication and "cures" available. The transformation over time is amazing and I'm so grateful."

"This is an ungodly expensive worthless medicine ( $2,000 a month) which gave me head splitting headaches (never had any before using this terrible drug)- As soon as I stopped it, the head pain went away-- I suspect my podiatrist is getting kickbacks. He couldn't wait to get me on this junk & they even immediately mailed it to my house with no co pay... It has a dismally low l cure rate & I cannot understand why this nasty ineffective drug got FDA approval--"

"amazing only thing that worked on a stubborn toe nail fungus. Within 2 weeks I noticed that a new healthy nail was emerging from the nail bed and the nasty one was growing out. There is no more new accumulation of keratin under my nail, no more gross odour and no more pain!! It has been 1.5mnths. I have maybe a 1/2 inch of ugly old nail at the tip of toenail left before it all becomes an awful memory. I am so happy!!! I will continue a little bit past the point of it being completely gone just to be sure. Then, I can paint my toenails once in a while again because I want to- not because I have to to wear sandals."

"My left big toenail has a fungal infection that affects about 25% of the toenail and has been present for about 4 years. I took 3 months of oral lamisil and the new nail has been growing back perfectly clear. It has grown out about 50%. I started using jublia after I stopped the oral lamisil on the affected part of the nail that hadn't grown out yet. I didn't have any problems until after about 3 months of daily use. About a month ago I started developing small painful, itching, burning blisters around the skin of the big toenail. I stopped using jublia and it took about 3 weeks to clear up. I wasn't sure what caused this but decided to try jublia again on the toenail because I'm paranoid the remaining fungus will spread to my new unaffected nail. Within 48h the small itching blisters returned so I'm sure it is the most-likely cause since I haven't applied anything else to the toenail."

"Beware!! Make sure your podiatrist tests your nails for fungus! I saw 3 podiatrists that did not test and wanted me to take Lamasil. I refused to possibly trade my liver for pretty nails. So, when podiatrist #2 suggested removing the nail and using topical Jublia when it started growing back in, I jumped on it, thinking topical is safer. Within 2 weeks of using Jublia ALL my toes became affected and red and blistered. I thought I had athletes foot, so I continued while using foot powders and sprays too! 2 dermatologists later I never had fungus; it was psoriasis!! Jublia was a "traumatic " event to my toe nails and made the underlying psoriasis go nuts. Now over a year and a half later, I have psoriatic arthritis in my feet and hands."
