For Bowel Preparation "this prep by far was the best I have ever done out of 3 preps for colonoscopies. Absolutely no cramping, no nausea no bloated feeling , just running to the toilet is it ! It was a slow type of action also, so u didn't feel so deadly dehydrated !!"

For Bowel Preparation "I prepared for my first colonoscopy at 50 by taking preponik. The taste was fine--almost like a lemony Tang. My first run took about 4hrs, and then it lasted for about 2 hrs off and on. I'll take the 2nd dose in a.m. before procedure. at 2"

For Bowel Preparation "I used this prep only after the Dr. gave me a coupon that brought the cost down from $135 to $40. Talk about money down the toilet. I was instructed to take 1st dose at 6 p.m. & 2nd dose at 4 a.m. for colonoscopy at 10 a.m.. Had first BM at 7:30 and 4th BM around 2:30 a.m.. After 2nd dose at 4 a.m., no BM until 7:30 a.m. & still nowhere near running clear. Around 8 am, intense cramping began with very violent BM's. Passed out & became very weak. Doctor said to go to ER. Colonoscopy was canceled & they gave me fluids & was released by 11 a.m.. Still continued to have BM's 17 hours after 2nd dose. BM's didn't start running clear until 12 hours after 2nd dose. I am a 54 year-old male who is healthy & active."

For Bowel Preparation "Oh Goodness. It sounds nice b/c you get to the pharmacy and they don't hand you this great big jug to walk out with. It's 2 little packets. You mix 1 with 5oz of water twice. Sounds too good to be true right. That's because it is. You then have to follow that with (5) 8 oz of a clear liquid. With in 5 hours. By the time I was able to get that down, because remember you have to take into consideration running to that toilet every 15 minutes, it is now time to start the next packet. You have to start the next packet 6 hours before your procedure. So, if your procedure is at 9am. You are waking up at 3am to take packet number 2. My procedure 6am. I had to take my first packet at 6pm. My 2nd @ 12am. No sleep for me. It sucks and $$$$"

For Bowel Preparation "The Prepopil is the Best prep for colonoscopy I ever used, and I have about 6 different ones. It is the only prep kit where I did not have a migraine (and I am a migraine sufferer) nor throw up. Is this still on the market? Of course none of them are great."

For Bowel Preparation "Prepopik is the way to go for colonoscopy prep. Last time I had to drink the 64 ounces of Golightly which was horrible! Sickening taste that made me want to vomit, chills, aches & pains, and just plain horrible. Prepopik was a piece of cake! Starting 7 days prior to procedure by cutting out high fiber foods, nuts & seeds until the day before procedure when I went the liquid diet of basically popsicles, jello, & Sprite Zero. This was probably the worst part of my prep this time simply because I was hungry! Started using the Prepopik at 6:00 pm night before my procedure following the instructions in box and it worked wonderfully without all the other issues! Doc said it cleaned my colon very well too so I don't have to go back for 10 years!"

For Bowel Preparation "1pm procedure Tuesday, so clear liquid fast Monday with 1st prep at 5pm, followed by a relatively quick 50oz of Gatorade and ginger ale. An hour later, was working like a charm. Was fine by bedtime at 11. Took prep 2 at 730am with 24oz of tea and Gatorade. Took an hour again to get going. Very effective stuff."

For Bowel Preparation "I am a 36 year old female. This was my first colonoscopy so I was terrified, but Prepopik was great! Has a nice orange flavor and provided a very gentle but thorough cleanse. Per Dr's instructions, I did the split dose method - one packet of prep mixed with 5 ounces of cold water (stir well!) at 6:00 PM the night before procedure followed by 40 ounces clear liquid (I did water and apple juice), and the other packet at 6:00 AM the next morning followed by another 40 ounces clear liquids. My procedure began at 11:00 AM, and by 8:00 AM my bowel movements were all liquid and yellow in color. Procedure went great! A word of advice: the day before prep, eat very light food that is easy to digest - no large, heavy meals."

For Bowel Preparation "I've had a colonoscopy every year since I was 10 years old. I am now 31. I have Crohns disease. I have had diarrhea for two weeks, after drinking this, I had the first solid BM. Last time I will let my DR prescribe this as prep."

For Bowel Preparation "Had done this process 3 timesbefore, 1st time use Prepopkit. Co-pay is $125 since insurance won't cover this. Followed instruction exactly and no effect ion. No BM after 1st dose, has three after 2nd dose. I have one hour left and still not clean. Sucks."

For Bowel Preparation "I took the split dose at 8:00 pm within a hour I was sick to my stomach. At 1:30 I started throwing up while sitting on the toilet. I have not felt so nauseous in a long time. At 2:30 am I was scheduled to take another dose which I promptly started throwing up. I was still very nauseated until the colonscopy at 7:30am. I now am scheduled for another colonscopy because the bowels were not clean enough in 5 years even though there was no polyps or any other issues. I will never have another colonscopy because of my experience."

For Bowel Preparation "I am 35 , female, n have ulcerative colitis for all of my life, I have done a ton of preps before. I took my first dose at 10 a.m. today, n it took till 130 to kick in. I was getting worried, but I also was in bed whole time. I drank the fluids, more then it says only because I know our body requires more then we think. The first round was easy n I was relieved, second bout excuse the language but, I'm sure I was yelling as my poor but was on fire! It was that bad, everytime till first dose ran dry. Took my second dose around 5 it is now 715, n it just kicked in. Thankful to say, no burning n it's just liquid. I don't tend to follow the dosing times, I stay on clear liquids all day so nothing solid is being processed. GL!"

For Bowel Preparation "I took the Prepopik for my first colonoscopy (I'm 25) and I found it to be very effective. The orange flavor was very tolerable. I had no bad cramps or terrible side effects with it, but I had taken magnesium citrate the night before and that had already cleaned me out somewhat. My only issue was I ended up so dehydrated that I showed up to my colonoscopy with a fever. Try to drink as much fluid as you can with this prep! I drank plenty, but there was more liquid coming out of me than going in. Overall, I would recommend the Prepopik. On a side note, my insurance didn't cover it, but the office I go to had it available. I recommend asking your office if they have it available if insurance won't cover it at the pharmacy."

For Bowel Preparation "I am 52 with Crohn's Disease; this was my 5th colonoscopy in 7.5 years:( I have no constipation issues. Being my first time using the Prepopik, I followed it to the letter. I am grateful, because 5.5 hours after the initial prep and limited success, I found this page. I followed some suggestions on here and set my alarm for 4 a.m. It was clear the results weren't enough. The dr. called me back on his way to the hospital and gave me the option of rescheduling (NO!) or coming in early for an enema, which worked enough to have the prep. I also had a good report. However, at 9 p.m. I had THE WORST INTENSITY of the prep after eating 2 meals. Dr. seemed to think I was rare and the 82% success rate was better than many other preps:("

For Bowel Preparation "I was absolutely terrified of the colonoscopy, especially the prep, so I put it off until I was 56. BUT: I was surprisingly happy with Prepopik and won't use anything else going forward. I'm a small female and was concerned about the volume of prep as well as potential nausea and cramping. I took the prepopik as directed, and drinking the five ozs. of solution was exactly like drinking a room-temperature orange Gatorade. Easy! My doctor had suggested that I consider going on a liquid diet for 2 days rather than one to make the prep most effective. I stuck with broth, Gatorade, Jello, and water. Followed instructions for evening and morning dose. Evening dose begin to work after 1 hour, while morning dose worked after half an hour. Result: Doctor said procedure went perfectly and the colon was impeccably clean-- no need to return for 10 years! Highly recommend."

For Bowel Preparation "Prep for colonoscopy with Prepopik began at 4pm. I drank the first five ounces of prep followed with five 8 ounce cups of waster. Nothing happened for five hours. At 10 pm while I was stirring the second packet of Prepopik I felt the urge to eliminate. I was up all night going to the restroom, the final trip taking place at 6 am. My colonoscopy procedure began at 9 am and was stopped because my colon was not fully prepared for the procedure. My doctor said afterward that I will need to use another form of colonoscopy prep and undergo the procedure a second time within the next two weeks. Prepopik is an absolute fail!"

For Bowel Preparation "Took as directed, but much less effective than other preps. My bowel was not clean and doctor says I have to do another colonoscopy soon. Although perhaps more pleasant to consume than some others, what good is it if it doesn't do the job? Also, at 14 hours post procedure I'm experiencing far greater post procedure discomfort than I have with other preps. Stay away from this product!"

For Bowel Preparation "I used Prepopik for a colonoscopy today. Used it as instructed by my Dr and last dose was 10 pm for a 9:30am procedure. I get colonoscopies every three years so have had many experiences with different solutions. Prepopik was very easy to use as it is not as intense as others. I had no side effects however I. Still had diarrhea when it was time for the procedure. Not fun and my system was not nearly as clean as with all others I have used. That being said I would not use this again as it is more important to prep well to get the best result from the colonoscopy. I would put up with inconvenience to ensure a clean colon. I will ask not to use this next time."

For Bowel Preparation "I cannot believe I had to pay $148 bucks for this! Medicare part D didnt cover it...so the pharmacy called the Dr to let him know which ones they DID cover- but know-he said this was "the best". So I stopped eating 24 hrs before colonoscopy. Nothing but water/chicken broth/ apple juice. Trust me I have taken milk of magnesia and had 100% better results! When I told the Dr that I didn't feel my colon was cleansed enough they went ahead and did it anyways...anything for a buck! Of course he said he couldn't finish and only got the lower bowel-Duh! Next time I will do my own cleanse! This is just a shame knowing he got a kickback from pharmaceutical company!"

For Bowel Preparation "I had put off colonoscopy due to fear of the prep.- after the awful stories and having a weak stomach. Prepopik changed that. Easy breezy! My husband couldn’t believe how easy it was for me vs his previous experience. Time for his next one and he is using Prepopik too. Dr said it did a great job too!"

For Bowel Preparation "I was worried after reading some of the comments, so I did a stool softener for 4 days before, and also did liquids for 2.5 days. I got pretty sick of beef and chicken broth! Took my first at 4 pm, just made me feel full, but taste was decent. I did my 5 waters within 2 hours. It started working 30-45 mins, but the stool softener cleaned me out a bit before. I did the other dose at midnight, I was able to go to sleep about 2:30, for my 7 am appt. Everything was fine and I would do this again. I used cold water for my drink it seem to go down better than the flavored drinks I bought."

For Bowel Preparation "I don't know why there are so many negative reviews of this. This was my third colonoscopy and this was by far the easiest and most effective prep. The taste as not bad and much better than a gallon of the previous stuff. No bloating, cramping, or vomiting. Took the first dose at 6PM and was going about 7. Took the second at 2:30 and was totally clean by 4:30."

For Bowel Preparation "I used this for preparation of my 1st Colonscopy. The taste was pretty decent, citrus taste. Took 1st dose at 4pm with 40 oz of clear fluids, within 3 hours I was going a lot for a good hour. 2nd dose 10pm with 30 oz of clear fluids, within 1 hour was going again. Procedure was at 7:30am, doctor was pleased with how well I was cleaned out. Procedure went well. Note, follow Drs. and medicines directions. Do not eat heavy a couple days before, Stay hydrated before and during. I have recommended this to others since my procedure in September."

For Bowel Preparation "I took a packet at 6pm after only having liquids for whole day and had several bowel moments. It was nothing as intense as when I did other prep drinks but I did go. When I did the second packet at 11pm, I immediately vomited . It was pure water . I went to colonoscopy anyway and told Nurse I vomited but thought I was empty. The Dr did the colonoscopy but I was not prepped properly so I now I have to do it again! So annoying!!! I think this concentrated formula is too strong ! Made me feel dizzy and very nauseous. Rather just use old one ."

For Bowel Preparation "Today I started my prep at 4pm as instructed. I then drank a container of broth 32 ounces, ginger ale, and water. Way more than the & cups I was prescribed. All this caused was nausea and stomach cramps. Not one BM. Second dose at 8pm. Already up to 40 ounces of fluids. I feel bloated. Nothing else. I haven't eaten in 24 hours. Thankfully it was a sample."
