For Bowel Preparation "Had a colonoscopy and discovered an aggressive colon cancer in May, had surgery in June to remove the cancerous tissue and resection my bowel in the descending colon. For both my colonoscopy and surgery, my doctor used Prepopik to prepare my bowels. Pleasant taste of cranberry and easy to get down with just a 5oz shot and 5 additional 8oz glasses of water for each process. Best of all of this, my doctor caught my colon cancer early enough before it had a chance to spread. So I'm 100% Cancer Free!"

For Bowel Preparation "I am 65 and have had 7 colonoscopies in the past. For my procedure last month, I was prescribed Prepopik for the first time. I am now a huge fan. Since there were some negative reviews, I did make a couple "enhancements" to the procedure to make sure it worked well. I was told I could have breakfast the day before, but chose not to. Instead, I took 4 Dulcolax pills to get things started. But the prep itself was like a miracle. All my previous preps have involved the equivalent of drinking a gallon of sea water. I knew big Pharma could do better, and it definitely has. The 5 ounces you drink has almost no taste. And then you can drink all the delicious clear liquids you want. EVERY OTHER PREP SHOULD BE OUTLAWED AS CRUEL."

For Bowel Preparation "Had my 15th colonoscopy on 5/18/17. My first one was back in 1983 when the procedure was very new. For me Prepopik was the best prep ever. The 5oz powdered drinks were not bad at all. Two nights before the procedure, I drank a 10ounce bottle of magnesium citrate as prescribed. I had a movement 7 hours later at 4am. I started my Prepopik (part 1) at 4pm the day before the procedure. I finished my 5 glasses of Gatorade and apple juice within 90 minutes. Had 2 movements within 2 hours. I started my Prepopik (part 2) at 2am the morning of the procedure. Finished my 3 glasses of apple juice and Gatorade within 30 minutes, and had 2 movements within 1.5 hours. I had no issues with nausea or cramping. My colonoscopy started about 8:45am. Some tips: I have a feeling some folks may tend to over-eat on their last meal day in fear of starvation on their liquid diet day. This means they will have more to pass the next day. Try eating lighter meals that day. Purchase the softest toilet tissue you can find. It helps. Also, try applying A&D ointment between movements. Good luck, and I hope this helps."

For Bowel Preparation "Used for repeat colonoscopy after my first one, a year ago. Compared to Golytely that I used the first time, this was easier for me and tasted 100% better. The Dr saw no difference in the quality and now I don't have to return for 5 years. Why anyone would opt for a high volume, nasty tasting prep when this is available I don't know."

For Bowel Preparation "Prepopik has been the most effective pre-colonoscopy solution I've ever used. Since my mother died of colon cancer in her early 40s I started to have colonoscopy tests early in my life. The large bottles of solution I've had to drink previously were unbearable to me. I've had to postpone tests because I was unable to drink the horrible stuff and "the day before" was always a nightmare. This time the only medicinal potions I've had were two five ounce drinks which were actually not horrible. They did the job - boy, did they ever. Cleansed me of everything, including my dignity. Started to work after some two hours and did not cease. Post the procedure I had two bouts of diarrhea immediately after coming home, and then I was fine."

For Bowel Preparation "Used for colonoscopy prep since it was the smallest amount to drink over the longest time. Tasted like sprite. Drank 7 8 oz glasses of water over next hour. 90 minutes and had 3 explosions. Then 2 more glasses of water until 2nd dose 5 hrs later. 2 glasses of water, 30 minutes later, awful stomach cramps, dizziness, numb fingers and toes, dry mouth. Thought I was going to pass out from the pain. Worse than labor pains! Took 30 minutes to pass. Went to bed exhausted. Definitely cleaned me out!"

For Bowel Preparation "Due to a genetic condition that gives me a propensity for colon cancer, I've had more than 25 colonoscopies in the past 40 years and now have them annually. Prepopik changed my life. I used to dread the prep like the plague (the procedures are a piece of cake, and I do them without drugs!) but now, other than a little sleep deprivation, Prepopik makes it easy. I understand some people have trouble tolerating the stuff, but I've had no side effects and no problems."

For Bowel Preparation "Aside from the out of pocket cost ($130.00 for me) I would recommend this drug. It was effective in cleaning out my colon without having to drink copious amounts of fluid. I chose the Orange flavor and it reminded me of powdered Tang orange juice - not unpleasant at all. Better chilled if possible. I followed the split dose regimen. It took about 90 minutes for the first dose to start working, but the process lasted about 2 hours. I did experience a slight, passing feeling of nausea at first, but it subsided once things got moving. The second dose, next morning, took about the same amount of time to work, but the process only lasted about an hour, My physician reported that colon prep was "excellent"."

For Bowel Preparation "F, 26, 150 lbs. Was given Prepopik because I had issues keeping down the normal prep. Was given three packets of miralax and the prepotik kit. I didn't have to start until 6pm the before the colonoscopy, so I was able to work the day before - first perk right off the bat. I took the miralax packets, one each morning, the three days leading to my prep. My stool was already soft by the time prep day came, which helped. Got home from work at 5:30 and started. I was going to the bathroom 30 minutes to an hour after. No intense cramps or discomfort, just the urge to run to the bathroom lol. Woke up at 4:30am to finish second half. The Dr performed the colonoscopy later that day with no issues. Love this product, worked great for me!"

For Bowel Preparation "I had a colonoscopy today and used Prepopik for bowel preparation. For my last colonoscopy several years ago, I had used Magnesium Citrate and found the Prepopik SO much easier to take, and my doctor said I had a nice, clean colon afterward. The way I took it, I didn't taste it, and it went down very easily. This is what I did: Before drinking the Prepopik, I had a small amount of ginger ale. I prepared the Prepopik with very cold water, and after stirring it as directed, I added a few ice cubes. Using a straw and HOLDING MY NOSE, I sucked that baby right down in several big gulps, and following a recommendation I saw on the internet, I immediately sucked on a lemon! Sounds weird, but it worked!! I seriously didn't taste the stuff!"

For Bowel Preparation "I had my 5th colonoscopy today and I used Prepopik for the first time. In past props, I had horrible experiences with the different drinks that I had tried it. Several of them caused me to be very nauseous and even throw up but this was fantastic. I followed the directions for taking it twice in one evening and it worked perfectly. I was in the bathroom 45 minutes after the first drink and then went regularly from that point on. I was a little nervous that my output was not as clear as I would have liked but by the time of the procedure at 8 AM things were at a good point. The report I received from the doctor said that the prep was excellent and they could see everything clearly. I am so grateful to this company for developing a product that doesn't taste horrible and can be used in such a small amount."

For Bowel Preparation "Now I have a history of colitis so this is about my 10th one or more. It was nice that you on had to drink 5oz of the liquid at one time followed by 5 more 8oz glasses of liquid. The taste was more citric with a hint of orange. Much better then the lemon lime stuff that I have had to drink in the past. Plus it did not make me nauseous (which is a plus in my book). It did take about 2 hours for me to have my first BM after drinking the Prepopik, and then only 2 more until I had to take the second dose. Then proceeded to go every 45min to an hour until I went to bed. Didn't wake up during the night to go, only when I woke up an hour prior to my procedure. This is not a fun experience in general, but overall one of the easiest preps I have had"

For Bowel Preparation "I was given this prep since my first try was rescheduled due to an adverse reaction to Golytely colon prep. At first, I wasn't sure it was working. I was told by my GI to start at 2pm with the first packet in 5oz of liquid and the second packet at 7pm. I heard bowel sounds at 8pm, but nothing moving. I did have to use an enema per Dr orders however, I did have the prep start working within a few minutes after and as I write this... well let's just say it's 11:30pm and I am still awake using the restroom. No cramping, no nausea, no headaches. It is very gentle. I am a 39 year old female and have a history of colitis with severe constipation."

For Bowel Preparation "I am a high risk patient as colon cancer runs in my family. I am required to have a colonoscopy every 5 years. I've been doing this over the past 30 years so I've had plenty experience with previous preparation method involving prescribed medication ( a little bit in a ridiculous 1 gallon jug) & Gatorade which I cannot stand the smell of let alone try to swallow. The entire routine was extremely harsh, making me raw & having to apply ointments to gain relief. This prep was amazingly simple to follow & extremely gentle. Night & day. I highly recommend it. The only down side? I had an early appointment for my colonoscopy so had to do the two-step prep the day before. The final round was at 10pm, so sleeping wasn't my reality that night."

For Bowel Preparation "Prepopik is by far the easiest prep to actually take. Easy to throw back and then chase with 40oz of whatever clear liquid you can tolerate and enjoy. If you ate normally up until the day of the prep and/or have slow-ish bowels, I would try to start earlier rather than later. I took the first dose at 5 and it took until about 8:30 to start getting real results. 11pm dose was still working on and off until 2am and I had to get up a couple times after that. The benefit is that it works slowly and gently. Lots of "tummy talking" and noises happening, but no pain, bloating, or nausea. Took longer to run clear than past preps, but worth the tolerability!"

For Bowel Preparation "60 yr old female. Second colonoscopy; first time using Prepopik. Dr instructed me to take 2 Dulcolax at noon day before procedure. That started the ball rolling! Then at 5pm first dose of Prepopik. I started drinking water right away. First cleanse started about two hours later. It lasted a few hours. Took second and last dose of Prepopik at 10pm. That cleanse came in about 2 hrs. Lasted about 2 hrs. Procedure next day at 10am was successful. Prepopik worked for me. The Dulcolax certainly helped."

For Bowel Preparation "After viewing videos of previous "preps" that required hours and hours of drinking huge amounts of solutions, I was happy to read that Prepopik only required two relatively small doses. I have to say at first I was worried because it didn't kick in until 3 hours passed. But then, it worked well and cleaned me out well. I followed dietary restriction to a "T" and drank plenty of fluids. The "bowel cleansing" process ain't fun - lots of time on the toilet. But, once this product started, it worked well. I did the same day dose: first at 4pm, second at 9:30. The unpleasantness is really just staying up most of the night using the bathroom, but my early am colonoscopy went without a hitch. My only critique is that it would "kick in" sooner."

For Bowel Preparation "A friend told me about this and after picking up GoLightly, I called my doctor who said they don't prescribe because of cost. I was expecting up to $150 and even though I only paid $36, I would have paid $150. The only issue I had was it took 4.5 hours to begin working. It was so easy, that I thought I wasn't cleaned out enough!!! My dr recommended taking it at 2PM and 6PM, then 1/2 bottle of magnesium citrate at 8PM. By 11:30, I was done ad had a good rest. Others recommended dulcolax ahead of time, but my doctor didn't. Compared to my last experience 10 years ago (Oral Fleet ?, which was taken off the market and disgusting), the last of Prepopik was a pleasure...tasted like Tang. It was a slow prep, but it did the job!!!"

For Bowel Preparation "I followed the directions my DR. gave me - 1 packet at 5 with 5 8oz glasses of clear liquid to drink in 2 hours after that. Started going within an hour. Took the 2nd packet at 10:00 and have been in the bathroom a lot. No doubt I will be totally clear by the AM. This is great. I had $40 coupon for the product from the DR so cost wasn't bad at all. Will use the product again the next time."

For Bowel Preparation "Was given this for a colonoscopy prep. Drs orders said to begin prep at 4pm and second round at 8pm. Colonoscopy was scheduled at 8 am next day. I started it at 2pm and did second round at 6pm. Had no idea what to expect so wanted to get it over with. Had only heard horror stories about people having to redo the whole test because prep didn't work. Didn't want to go through it again. Took about 40 min for it to work. Didn't have to go running to the bathroom. Also, drinking the 5 glasses of water after, wasn't so bad either. Have to say that the second round worked better than the first. And, it doesn't taste bad either. But colder is better. Finally "ran clear" by 10 pm and was able to sleep. Colonoscopy went well too."

For Bowel Preparation "I choose prepopik because a GI doctor recommended it. The colorectal surgeon performing the coloniscopy agreed to let me try it. Taking it is very easy and it tastes fine. I took it at five in the afternoon. Within an hour it started to work. I continued to have to use the bathroom off and on for the whole evening. Finally at 1:30 I called the surgeon and told him I was still going to the bathroom and there was no way I was going to be able to do a second dose. He agreed. Turned out the first dose cleaned me out just fine. I had cramping while taking it but nothing horrible. I didn't feel nauseous and I didn't get a hesdache. I have a sensitive stomach and one dose was plenty. The procedure itself was a breeze."

For Bowel Preparation "After all the horror stories I've heard about colonoscopy preps, I was hesitant to even think about the process. Having said that, PrepOPik was the easiest part of the entire procedure. No gagging on gallons of yuck, no cramping, no nausea ... nothing unpleasant other than the induced diarrhea. I'd recommend this prep in a heartbeat!"

For Bowel Preparation "This was a good experience for me as a first colonoscopy. I was really dreading taking it but I had no side effects and it was a gentle cleaning. I was going clear already during my third trip to the toilet, and as long as I went as soon as my stomach growled (instead of waiting for urgency) my stomach felt fine. Honestly I kept waiting for hell to break loose after all the stories I’d read so I was pleasantly surprised to find out that I was completely cleaned out after such a gentle experience! The only down side is that I wasn’t able to sleep because I was passing clear stool (every 20 minutes at the most) all night long. The taste really isn’t bad. I had a cinnamon and apple hard candy in my mouth at the same time and used a straw but it wasn’t awful when I tried it. Honestly I didn’t even drink all of it because I’ve been unable to eat much, but even if I had, the low volume is amazing compared to the older versions."
