Pletal (cilostazol) "I have peripheral artery disease. Pain/numbness in legs/buttocks. Difficulty walking standing. Within ONE HOUR of beginning treatment with Pletal I began feeling relief. More than two weeks now with almost TOTAL relief from discomfort/pain/weakness and no side effects. Absolutely amazing medicine."

Pletal (cilostazol) "I have been on this medication since July, and the results are simply amazing! I have my life back, not only did I get so much relief from the pain in my legs, I can now walk and walk and actually keep up with my very active grandkids (age 4, 11, 11, and 16) On a side note I have lost almost all my excess weight by tweaking my diet and just being able to be active again! This medicine has been a Godsend to me! Hope anyone who is suffering from this disease is able to get the same results I have, it is great to have my active life back!"

"I was prescribed this after my right side internal carotid artery closed. It was a birth defect. I had "seizures" since the age of 7, but turned out I was having mini strokes my whole life. When the big one hit me at 31 I thought I was done for, but this medication has given me my life back. I still feel "funny" from the stroke, but I am fully functional. And it all started when I began taking this magic pill! The "seizures" are gone. The numbness went away. I am me for the first time in 32 years!"

"Well what can I say, I been on this drug cilostazol for Intermittent Claudication for 3 weeks and taking a 50MG dose not the 100MG dose as prescribed and now I can walk 3/4 of a mile with out no pain. I hope I could get up to a mile with no pain."

Pletal (cilostazol) "I have been on Pletal for 2 weeks and have both positive and negative effects. The pain in my left leg is much better, but I am having pretty severe headaches and stiff neck. I have been a migraine sufferer since the age of 13. These are not migraines but a throbbing pain at the base of my skull. I will continue the drug as long as I can stand the headaches. If headache pain becomes worse than leg pain, guess I'll stop the Pletal?"

Pletal (cilostazol) "Within several hours of taking Pletal for my leg pains due to PAD I began to experience severe headaches. I stayed on the medicine for one week hoping it would subside. It remained constant so I discontinued taking it."

"I believe this medication is harmful. Despite having heart failure, my cardiologist prescribed it to me. Since taking it, my resting heart rate has increased from 55 bpm to 100 bpm, and it's clear that doctors don't practice what they preach. They just want to prescribe more and more medicine until your liver can't take it anymore. I strongly advise staying away from this medication. I never had liver problems before, but now I do. Additionally, my chest pounds while lying down, which is a terrible side effect."

"I have taken this medication for 3 years now and am so happy with the results. My pain has been reduced greatly and my blood flow has increased from way under 50% to over 71%. I am submitting my review mostly for those experiencing the terrible headache that sometimes accompanies this medication. Yes, I had it also, and it was excruciating, however, the headaches DID cease after day 15 on the med. So, in my case at least, it was worth 2 weeks of headaches because this stuff does work. 3+ years and no headaches since, so give it a chance if you can."

"After an arterial bypass in 2015, I began taking cilostazol, and the benefits were nothing but amazing. I know this to be the case because in 2023, I was taken off cilostazol by a well-meaning doctor, and the decline was devastating. Within 2 months, the pain level had gone off the chart, and I could hardly walk. I eventually had to go back to my Vascular Surgeon, and he restored my cilostazol, but the progress back has been slow and frustrating."

"On Cilostazole I had side effects of heart palpitations on a regular basis, which causes extreme dizziness enough to fall down. Very dangerous drug."
