For Rosacea "Omg...I was so excited after I tried this the first day! I had forgotten what I looked like without red cheeks. But then after the second day I had a few bumps on my cheeks and the redness did not disappear like it did the day before. Tried it again and now my cheeks are VERY red & hot. This must not work on fair skin. I'm disappointed in this product. I look worse now than I did before I tried it."

For Rosacea "The first time I was prescribed Mirvaso I was not made aware of the rebound redness as a side effect (holy moly). I found this medication works best mixed with moisturizer. I mix a half a pump with Prosacea moisturizer and it keeps the redness in check without completely bleaching all color from my face and causing rebound redness. I feel like I don’t need to do this on a daily basis either, every other day seems to prevent redness really well."

For Rosacea "Started using Mirvaso -- the first 3 days it worked great was so pleased,but as the days went by it started to leave my face red and itched so this was and is not the med for me now have to wait it out to see if my color goes away"

For Rosacea "Like many of these other readers I've had the same experience. I was given samples to try by a dermatologist and I applied it on a Saturday afternoon. Sunday afternoon I looked in the mirror and was in shock. My face was super blotchy and a very intense red spottiness. Definitely worse looking that it had ever been initially. It almost leaves skin with a withdrawal type symptom. I cannot afford laser treatment and I do not know where else to turn as I wake up every morning like this and am having to rely on this lotion to clear my face to be presentable at my job."

For Rosacea "I can only agree with many of the comments that have been made here, and I also wish I had read the comments before starting this drug. My Rosacea was more or less under control, but due to an illness and stress in my family I had had a flare up so my doctor recommended I try Mirvaso gel. After 2 weeks I now have redness all over my face , the worst it has ever been, so much so that it is embarrassing to go out. My face is hot and sometimes itchy and I have now now thrown this expensive gel away."

For Rosacea "I had used Metrogel for years, but it didn't seem to be making a difference any more, so I went to a derm & he prescribed Mirvaso. I should have walked away when I saw the price! The first couple of days I used it, my face and along my hairline itched. Redness increased and acne appeared. I stayed with it for two weeks; the flushing got worse and my face burned, along with my ears & neck. Acne increased. But the worst effect was the headaches. I have migraines that I finally was able to manage with 2 prescriptions. The derm didn't tell me a side effect of Mirvaso. Did The FDA approved this?"

For Rosacea "I have red sensitive skin on my face so my doctor instructed me to use this cream to cure it. It worked at the start, my skin went pale and no adverse reaction. Then after day 3 of using it my skin went on fire. Rebound redness is a thing and it burned my skin for hours on end. I couldn't leave the house for days. Worst cream in the world, does the opposite to what its supposed to do. Please DO NOT WASTE YOUR MONEY ON IT."

For Rosacea "This stuff is almost $500.00! Thought it made my flushing more intense, LIKE A LOT, and I was correct. I stopped using it, then thought, probably just my imagination, so after all winter and regular flushing, mild to moderate, on occasion...Now I look like I've been drinking, fighting and using a treadmill close to a fire. No bueno!"

For Rosacea "I was worried when I read the reviews but I have not had any bad experiences with this medication. I use it everyday but sparingly. I go through one container in about 4 months. Possibly these users with bad side effects are using too much? This product has changed my life. I highly recommend trying it."

For Rosacea "This product is a nightmare. The first day, yes, it did reduce redness. The next day, I noticed a red blotchy patches where I had applied the Mirvaso and they haven't gone away for several days. This is not my normal redness, and I am 100% sure it is a direct result of the Mirvaso because the blotches are exactly where I applied it. This product should not even be on the market- it does the exact opposite of what it's supposed to do."

For Rosacea "Takes away flushing for a few hours but next day my face feels on fire . Its the only medication on the market so I only use this sparsely when required. And suffer next day. Can't wait till they discover a permanent cure."

For Rosacea "I have suffered from episodic flushing for most of my life and nothing has worked so decided to try Mirvaso. I tried it for 4 days. Initially, it seemed to decrease the redness. After the first two days I started to have attacks of bright red patchy flushes at random times throughout the day but I thought it was just an initial reaction and would take more time. On the fourth day, I forgot to apply it in the morning and by noon both of my cheeks were a horrible deep red, my face and ears were burning as though I had my face near a fire. It is 10 times worse that what I started with. I am very disappointed in this product and hope that my face goes back to what it was before using it. also: I do not recommend trying this BUT if you go on the galderma website you can sign up for their savings card and get the medication price down to 35 or 75 $ depending on if you have insurance or not."

For Rosacea "I had red blood vessels on one cheek that were not very pleasing to look at. My Dr gave me Mirvaso samples to try to help reduce the redness. I used this product ONE time, a pea sized amount. I now have 5 bug sized bite chemical burns/blister like on my face. I truly hope these marks go away because my face looks worse than it ever has."

For Rosacea "I would not recommend this product to anyone. I was given a small sample from my derm and like many people here it worked for the first ten hours. After the ten hours my face would flush and burn worse than ever before I've taken it for three days now and am quitting immediately. I would have quit sooner but I wasn't sure if the mirvaso was causing the redness. I just can't believe derms are handing this stuff out so readily ."

For Rosacea "Do not use this cream! It makes things worse. My face became perfect after I applied the cream. But after a few hours I started feeling terrible burning sensation on my face. And after few more hours I all became red."

For Rosacea "I read all the reviews hopeful I wouldn’t be one of the ones with awful side effects! DO NOT use Mirvaso! The first day it was like a magic cream and the redness was gone for 10 hours. Second day about 6 hours and then my face would be redder than when I applied it. After a week of use I decided to not even use it and my face has been bright red and swollen and I have had a headache all day! My face feels like it is on fire! Nothing I do works to calm it and it is only getting worse not better. I will NEVER use Mirvaso again! Don’t use this awful cream!"

For Rosacea "Day 4 and I am experiencing the rebound redness for the fisrt time. My entire face looks like it has sunburn. I am afraid based on what I have read that if I continue to use it the rebound redness will get worse. I'm happy that something was made to help people with rosacea...and am hopeful that they will find a reason for the rebound redness and alter the medication."

For Rosacea "I was put onthis on and it worked, but afterwards omg I was red, my face was burnt and it looked like I got an allergic reaction because my eye was swollen. My face still looks awful 3 days later. I will never use again..."

For Rosacea "Not good. The first few days were fine though not overly impressive, after that more redness and itching. It also doesn't appear to compatible with any of the moisturizers I have tried. I've stopped using it and my face is less red and much better. $20 in the garbage, I would not recommend this to anyone. And judging by all the others with issues I'm surprised it's still on the market."

For Rosacea "Do not use this product! I had/have all the same negative symptoms listed below by others. In addition, I had massive migraine headaches, sore throat, runny nose, stomach issues, itching in areas I did not use the product, acne, dry eyes and a sty. I reported these issues to the FDA and highly suggest you do the same. They will re-evaluate the product if they have enough reports"

For Rosacea "I have had mild rosacea for over 20 years with occasion mild breakouts. Normally it is well managed and not visible unless I have had a bad few days. I have it over nose & upper cheeks (T Zone) with blemishes when its bad. Normally I use Rozex. I was given Mirvaso as an alternative and after 5 days I had to take time off work because it inflamed so bad it turned my nose and upper cheeks a dark red / purple. Never use this cream, it feeds back on itself. i am still waiting for the redness to drop after 48 hours of not using it. Stay away."

For Rosacea "At first this medication was helping and then I started getting random flare ups and my face would get really blotchy and feel like its on fire. This had never happened before I started this medication so I stopped. I'm going to dig deeper and see if I can find a better product."

For Rosacea "I wish I would have read these reviews before I put it on my face. My dermatologist gave this to me to use for redness along with a cream for the blemishes which I had already been using for a month with great results. Tonight I used for the first time for some a few lightly red areas. Within 3 hours I went into the bathroom and both my cheeks were entirely covered with a fire red rash. I only used a pea size on my entire face. I immediately washed it off and am now scared about how long this is going to stay or if it is ever gonna go away. Glad that I only had to pay $7 for it with my insurance. WARNING: READ REVIEWS AND DON'T USE. I have been an RN for over 20 years and believe that my dermatologist has no idea about the severity of the reactions...but I will be letting her know and I will never use it again."

For Rosacea "I had a bad experience with this cream. For the first few days of use it looked very promising, my redness was almost gone completely. Although as the days went on I started to put this cream on straight thing in the morning and then later in the day when i would get stressed or embarrassed my redness would look absolutely terrible. It would be completely pale is some places and then in others it would be BRIGHT RED. It happened on the outside of my face, right by my nose, right under my eyes. It was so bad that I couldn’t go to school. I felt physically and mentally uncomfortable I do not recommend at all."

For Rosacea "I've been using this medication for my rosacea and it isn't helping. My face has never looked worse. It's ok when I first put it on but by the end of the day my face is spiralling out of control. Right now I have huge acne blemishes all over my face. I'm making an appt with my doctor this week to try and change it. Very disappointed."
