For Allergic Rhinitis "I have been a user of Flonase for a long time, so I thought I would give this a try. I got a sample from my doctor yesterday. After one use, I am unfortunately going to throw it in the garbage. It may very well work as advertised, but I just can't get over the awful, bitter tasting post-nasal drip that lingers for hours after use. After one use I don't feel like I can comment on its effectiveness, but I would rather be stuffy than taste it every day."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have had post nasal RIVER, there is no drip here. I had nasal surgery in 2015, it was wonderful I could breathe, the sneezing and river stopped, BUT the ENT could not figure out what triggered my nasal river. He said it would come back in 2 years. Has gotten so much worse.. In France now, saw ENT & he put me on the spray and Bilaska. I had a terrible time taking cortisone, I was on cortisone for adrenals for 2 years - I was in a fog, I could not think, what my brain thought & what I typed was 2 different things, my speech was impaired - SO many side effects. 10 days using Dymista and I felt like a zombie, I couldn't get out of bed, got up and went back to bed, my thinking was impaired, I could not remember anything (not good when taking French lessons) sleep was worse. Am waiting for test results, seems more like environmental things like dust mites, dander, mold. I stopped taking the spray and am just using the Bilaska & doing pretty good, the steroids seem to bother me."

"I have tried several sprays for my allergies. Nothing has worked better for me than Dymista. My HMO refuses to pay for Dymista since it is not on the formulary and it is too costly. I will have to pay for the next bottle."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I took this after having weaned off of Sinex nose drops due to allergies to pollens. It worked fine, but could not stand the aftertaste. I tried everything to get it to go away! I also noticed being sleepy and having dreams. Why would it make me so sleepy? Long story short, I discontinued it. I'd rather go back to Sinex and not have bad aftertaste and be more alert."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Works great! Works better then using both 2 nasal sprays individually. It is much more convenient to only have to use one nasal spray and is less irritating. If your insurance doesn't cover it ask your doctor to submit a prior authorization to your insurance. My doctor's office got Dymista approved in just a few hours. Other options include using the Manufacturer's coupon from their website to get $100 off or a lower copay. Or buy the generic online from a reputable/verified International pharmacy for about $30 including shipping. Just make sure the pharmacy is verified by VIPS, has the physical address on the website, and requires a script. Generic Dymista not avail in US."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I've been using Dymista for several years and it's been a life saver for me. I'm happy to report absolutely ZERO side effects from it that many others here have apparently experienced, other than the bitter taste that only lasts for 10-15 minutes, but I barely even notice that anymore. When I say it's been a lifesaver for me, I was getting 3-4 sinus infections per year from severe allergies, and have had only 1 sinus infection about every 18-24 months since taking it. The biggest downside for me is the high cost... and even though I've been getting the generic version the last year for only $5 with insurance, that's changing October 2021 where the generic will strangely cost MORE than the brand name Dymista. Time to switch to individual Flonase and Azelastine, which are exactly what's mixed together in Dymista."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Dymista was recommended by my local GP for sinus congestion. After a week of use, I started feeling extreme fatigue, nausea, and headaches. I literally could not move from my bed, it was horrible. I even went to emergency and no one could figure it out. I started searching for reviews online and read about similar symptoms. I threw the bottle in the bin after 3 days. I've finally started to recover from the fatigue, nausea, and headaches but I also still have sinus congestion."

For Allergic Rhinitis "My sister in-law uses Dymista and says it’s the best thing since sliced bread (her hay fever has always previously been very severe). She lives in the UK and has it on consultant only prescription so it does not cost her very much. I am trying the KTS electronic ‘Allergic Rhinitis Relief Device’ (Amazon) because I am concerned about the known potential side effects of drugs like Dymista. However of course nothing is without risk and the same will apply to this intra-nasal infrared light emitting device. You should research any treatment to your best ability before deciding whether to try it, not just listen to hearsay advice."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I was prescribed it to treat a sinus complication after acute sinusitis. Over several weeks everything cleared up and was back to normal. No major side effects, except around a 5-week mark when I started getting dried blood flakes in my nose. By the end of week 6 there was more visible blood, both dry and moist, but not a full on nosebleed. I stopped after 6 weeks based on a follow-up assessment by ENT and his subsequent recommendations. Nose bleeding is also listed as the most common side on the leaflet. Perhaps it is due to the preservative contained in there, or simply from extra dryness, I don't really know. Never felt any bad taste, which many here seem to complain about. There is a special technique for how to administer the spray properly. So, please read the instructions. Overall then, a very good medication IMO, but maybe the risk of some side effects, like nose bleeding, increases with prolonged use. Pls ask your doctor about it."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I am a very frequent flyer and because of that have suffered from persistent and recurring sinus pain. After years of trying to find the solution going to my ENT multiple times I was finally recommended Dymista. To be honest it has been a godsend. It's sorted out my sinuses and helped me to to free myself from the constant headaches and pain behind my eyes. The way you spray it is important to read the instructions! In addition, I watch the video online that indicated to me that I was spraying it incorrectly every time. It needs to be sprayed at 45 degrees into your nostril not straight up because otherwise the taste is actually awful and it goes straight into your brain both of which are undesirable. Overall it needs to be used with care but I highly recommend the product."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I’ve had sinus problems since a child. I’m usually into alternative medicine but after a year of a particularly bad post nasal drip, sore eyes, headaches etc I tried Dymista. Only day four but the depression came out of nowhere.. I was so bad yesterday with a horrible depression, stomach upset and blurred vision that I didn’t know what to think.. until this morning when I read these reviews! Will see how today goes but at least I know I’m not losing the plot."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I have a constant dry cough and runny nose. At first I used Dymista in the morning and it didn’t do much then I decided to try it before bed, to see if it stopped my night coughing. 2 nights in the whole house is sleeping, my cough has stopped and for the first time in months I am sleeping through the night. Amazing."

For Allergic Rhinitis "Stopped my headaches that I’ve been having for 20+ years. I did have to practice to get it to go in my sinuses and not down my throat and that made a difference, so I found technique was important. Just because it didn’t work for you, doesn’t mean it won’t work for others."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I was prescribed and used Fluticisone, the generic version of this medication. It worked effectively for me. I stopped using it when I read that it should not be used if one has glaucoma. In other words it is effective but I can't use it as I don't want to go blind."

"This medication is amazing! I have been experiencing a chronic cough, sore throat, and runny nose for three months. My doctor recommended this medication. After a few days of use, my cough, runny nose, and sore throat were SO much better. I haven't experienced any side effects or bad taste. The instructions say to look down when you spray, so I haven't tasted anything at all. I am so impressed with this medication."

"I was using Otrivin plus or even otrivin for my blocked nose. The doctor was adamant, no, no…use this… $50 prescription for this Dymista 125/50…. What an absolute waste of money, it does nothing. Absolutely disappointed. Otrivin all the way!"

"I had to get off Otrivin, which I used for many years, so I could breathe through my nose while sleeping. After trying other prescriptions, Dymista started working in about a week. When taken as prescribed by the doctor, it has replaced the Otrivin without any fear of a rebound effect."

For Allergic Rhinitis "After having sinus rhinitis for over 25 years, I have used many medications along with a neti pot to help me have a reasonable life. The last month, things have gotten worse as my stomach has been overloaded with post nasal drip at night and I woke up feeling either very nauseous or vomiting, so a visit to my doctor was necessary. He prescribed the Dymista 125/50, one spray in each nostril twice a day, every 12 hours basically. Now after taking the first dose, within an hour I could notice the difference, no nausea or headache. I am continuing this as it seems to work for me. The only thing is, now within about an hour of the next due dose, it seems to stop working, and I have the post nasal drip back but no headache. I don't have any of the bad side effects many here complain about, and yes, the taste is not the best but I have tasted worse, so I'm one of the lucky ones. I will be seeing the doctor soon to discuss if this medication is a long-term strategy or if it will eventually fix my problem."

For Allergic Rhinitis "It fixed the pain I had in my upper back teeth from excessive coughing, but the side effects were minimal, and I only used it for two days. The morning after, I started experiencing crusted mucus that sealed my eyes shut overnight, and one nostril was blocked with it. I also began having headaches, which I never experience, within an hour of taking Dymista. On the second day, the glands under the left side of my mouth were swollen, and my eyes became red and puffy and people asked me if I had been crying. I would need to be brave to consider using it again. Moreover, it was a waste of my time, health risks, and money, costing an astronomical $136 CDN. I do not have any allergies, but this almost made me wonder if my whole body was shutting down. I rate it 1 out of 10."

For Allergic Rhinitis "I love dymista!!! It took 24 hours to help but worth it! I have been suffering allergies for about two years without knowing it, mostly managing with a nasal decongestant. Coming to live in Melbourne I felt as if I had a serious cold that never ended and I couldn't breathe through my nose without the decongestant. My doctor put me on a high-ish dose of antihistamines and dymista and I have my life back!!! As someone who never had allergies previously, no one tells you how exhausted it makes you! Now that I am actually treating the problem I feel amazing. Because I was using the decongestant longer than you are meant to, and still having the allergic reaction, my first dose couldn't really move through the blocked nasal passages and it wasn't until my third dose that I had proper relief. I think I would have had a faster result if I had used the decongestant again before the first dose and had a clear sinus."
