Amoxil (amoxicillin) "Sufferd from heart burn and peptic ulcers every day and night for more than 30years. An older Doctor treated the root cause, not the symptom with amoxicillin & Carafate. I haven't used any antacids for more than 5 years now, and have been enjoying all the foods I like, whenever I like. Thank God for old Doctors."

"This medicine was completely okay - I was very scared to use it at first. Ive gotten 1 g twice a day for 1st week along with nexium 40 mg twice a day, and after about 4 days i already felt better. No side effects at all, except from being a bit tired. Don't be scared. It'll be okay."

"Well I was told for 20 plus years I was allergic to penicillin, I did get a rash as a child but that doesn't mean I was allergic. I took the gamble and I seem to be okay. I'm on the 4th day of treatment and I just want this ugly infection gone. I'm starting to feel a little better. Good Health to you all. No side effects"

"I used amoxicillin to treat different problems on different occasions throughout many years. It never failed me, always helped, and I didn't have any side effects from it. The last time I used it however to treat helicobacter pylori, it gave me serious cramps and diarrhea. And for sure, it was not the other drug I used in conjunction, but amoxicillin, which surprised me to no end, because I never had such reaction to amoxicillin. I looked at the brand - it was Sandoz, that I didn't use before. Had to switch the brand, in order to accomplish the treatment. Then there were no problems - it worked as intended."

"I usually don't write reviews, but I have to share that this helps SIBO as well! I have recurring SIBO. I did rifaximin, sometimes with neomycin, a few times. I did Flagyl but saw no change. SIBO always comes back. I found out I have H. pylori. I'm doing triple therapy but changed Flagyl to amoxicillin because Flagyl makes me tired. SIBO got 100 times better as well. Flagyl made my SIBO worse with no effect. I'm currently trying to treat both SIBO and H. pylori. I read that bismuth is recommended. I might add that too."
