"I took this drug amisulpride for 3 years which was prescribed for Psychosis/schizophrenia and I had never felt better! It was the most effective drug that I ever took, I was so high, so confident, social and positive. I was symptom free! But It increased my prolactin levels to 600."

"I have been taking Solian (amisulpride) 100mg for almost a year. It has reduced my anxiety by about 50%. It is overall a good drug which clears your mind and reduces paranoia. I used to use 300mg; however, this caused minor restlessness and I was not experiencing any symptoms of psychosis anymore, so they reduced my dosage down to 100mg. I have not had any negative symptoms at 100mg; however, I have slowly begun to gain some weight, around 5kgs. You need to be careful on this drug and watch your weight as well as exercise regularly. The drug at first helps you sleep; this effect is reduced over time, and now it does not make me sleepy anymore. I do worry about coming off of it though as I might get insomnia, but I have to wait and am only speculating about that."

"It was a nice medication, made me feel good and bubbly. It was also very effective for the schizophrenic symptoms like paranoia and voices. I had to stop taking it because my prolactin was too high and it gave me sexual dysfunction. Otherwise, zero side effects."

"The dosage amount that I was prescribed was too much. My body could not handle that amount of milligrams and my chemical toxicity levels went through the roof and my body and brain over drove its tolerance levels and rejected the drug. I am now bed ridden from the effects of Toxic Encephalopathy in my brain and Paralytic Ileus of my stomach and colon caused by toxic effects of the drug. The drug additionally caused me high cholesterol levels and high blood pressure. I am now additionally on cholesterol tablets and blood pressure tablets. If you take this drug do not take more than 200mg a day."

"I have been taking this medication for more than 10 years now. Overall, it is a good drug compared to other antipsychotics I have tried, with relatively minimal side effects. The unique aspect of this drug for me is that it has helped with the social aspects of schizophrenia and has allowed me to enjoy things more, while also reducing a lot of my inner anxiety. I am now able to go out more, have many friends, and have even obtained a B.A degree in psychology and computer science. I have been working a part-time job for several years. I take only 100mg of the drug because higher doses cause me extreme discomfort and make it difficult for me to remain still for more than 2 minutes. Over the years, the drug has caused my prolactin levels to increase, resulting in weight gain and decreased energy levels. However, this is manageable for me. In addition to this medication, I take Risperdone, Mirtazapine, Citalopram, Vortioxetine, Ritalin, Valproic acid, and I attend weekly psychotherapy sessions with my psychiatrist."
